Excellent lunch had here served by Morgan. Great service and great food. Came as table of 3 and all looked after really well. The starters mains and desserts were excellent.

Average is being kind. Poor quality food, poor sized portions, with no presentation whatsoever. A desert came out which looked like a three year old had plated it up. Ate here a few years ago and it was very good so not sure if it has changed hands as it’s extremely poor by comparison. Sorry but would not recommend

Food was excellent as was the service. I did not know dogs were allowed in the restaurant area. A dog was allowed in and it was not a guide dog. I understand there us a dig friendly area where owners can eat.

We popped in at 5.30 on a Sunday on the off-chance they still had any roast dinners left and 20minutes later we had two gorgeous lamb dinners in front of us! A roaring fire, cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Perfection! Perfect portions, perfectly cooked, and extra gravy on request!

Poor quality food for the price,had a Sunday lunch was Poor portion for the price stuff missing from the dinner 🍽 other stuff sold and this was at 2pm in the afternoon.

Nice pub with good service. It was disappointing though that a few of the options that were listed as “gluten free” were fried in the same fryer as glutenous items so not safe for coeliacs to eat. Such as fish and chips and the Camembert bites. Had I known this beforehand we probably wouldn’t have come. It seems pointless saying they are gluten free when in fact, when served, they are not. This is misleading and potentially dangerous.

We had the three course weekend special dinner menu. Excellent. All three courses eating things we have seen on Masterchef! Scallops, kalamari, sauces that I remember how to spell! Served by a waitress, Libby, who was attentive, thoughtfuland sincere. Warmly recommend and we will be back!

We had a lovely meal earlier today at The Kings Head Wellesbourne. Morgan our server was very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.

We went to the kings Head in Welles orne for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately I believe the roast potatoes were deep fried as they were the same golden colour all over and not crispy. Broccoli, carrots snd parsnips were all undercooked and the cauliflower cheese was just a bowl of very over cooked cauliflower so it was mush with very little cheese. It was very disappointing so unfortunately we will not be returning for a Sunday roast again or recommending it to our friends or family.

Had a really good meal here this evening. We were served by Tony who was excellent throughout and recommended the Pie of the Day - a great choice! It was delicious! Duck pizza was different and very well received. Reasonable prices and good quality food.

The information provided by Inkeepers Collection prior to confirming an online booking (for accommodation) is confusing at best and misleading at worst. I booked on the basis of this cancellation policy (screenshot attached) which came up prior to pressing Confirm. I understood the ‘rate’, referred to in the first paragraph, to mean the price at which the booking was secured could not be changed, e.g. if there was suddenly a special offer I would have to stick with the price I had booked and could not change this if a better deal came up. I cancelled the day before and I am not being refunded, despite my emails of protestation.

Amazing service from start to finish, food was brilliant. We were in a large group and everything ran very smoothly, we couldn’t have been happier. Libby and Ellie were excellent and we would like to say a big thank you to them for making our evening so special.

Popped in for a meal on the way back from Birmingham Airport, fantastic service even though we were an hour early from our booked reservation the staff accommodated us immediately. Had the pan fried lamb which was one of the the best meals I have tasted for a long time, highly recommended. Will definitely visit again

Haven’t eaten here for a long time and the food was lovely. Freshly cooked and good portion sizes. Had Hunters Chicken Schnitzel which was just lovely and husband had steak which he said was cooked perfectly. Plenty of free parking and nice outside area front and rear.

We visited the Kings Head today for sunday lunch and despite having booked the wrong day, they were able to accommodate and give us a table. Orsi, Libby and the wider team are always super friendly and welcoming. The service is outstanding and being also in hospitality myself I do not say that lightly. There is a great selection of drinks and the menu is excellent. The final thing to say is nothing to much trouble for the staff, they treat you as part of the family.

Stayed for a night while visiting friends in Warwickshire. The room was clean and comfy, we had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was lovely too. The service by Orsi and her team was brilliant- highly recommended!

Lovely meal and Fabulous waitress Morgan very chatty and lovely personality. Lovely Room . Infact all the staff we have encountered have been welcoming and helpful.

My friend and I had lunch there with our babies. The food was nice but the service was slow in terms of being seen to by staff, although I put that down to only 2 staff members working at that time. Myself and others stood at the bar for quite a while waiting for someone to come and serve us, although the food did come out fairly quickly. There wasn’t anywhere to change the babies (to my knowledge) which for a family pub would be nice. It was an okay experience I just think if the staff were more attentive and there was changing facilities that would have made it better.

Passed this pub on the way home on a Sunday afternoon. Had hoped to order food, and perhaps eat outside. The garden area was mostly taped up in Black and Yellow crime tape! not sure what had gone on? Not inviting to say the least. Needless to say we continued on our way home.

Really nice place to stay, rooms very cosy. Had dinner at the restaurant and the food was first class, best burger I’ve had in a long time, my partner had the Sea Bass which she said was Devine! Would thoroughly recommend dining here, the bill was about average that you would pay for a quality three course meals and drinks.

The first impression when we arrived was that it stank of cow dung. Second: that the water in the toilet practically does not flow, to which we received the answer that this is normal and gave us another room. Third: view from the window of the cemetery.

Had a lovely lunch on Monday 29th July. The food was great. Had the 3 course lunch special. Lovely choice on menu,well cooked and well presented,and also very good portions. Served by Clare who was very attentive. Will certainly come again

We had an excellent visit and stay at The Kings Head. The room we had (9) was comfortable and ideal as a base for our visit. The shower was probably the best I’ve used in any hotel I’ve stayed in. Location was very quiet despite being on a main road and there were some lovely walks to be had. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were friendly and helpful; a special mention to Libby, who waited on us for our evening meal and ensured that we were well looked after despite being rushed off her feet. The evening meal we had was very nice and cooked to order, breakfast was ordered off a menu and again cooked fresh to order and well worth the wait. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Lovely Food and good portion sizes Great service with a smile

My wife and I decided to go for sunday lunch today despite not being able to get food on our previous two visits. My wife only wanted a smaller portion and we were informed it we would have to pay the full price (fair enough) and just let them know at the bar when placing our order. I duly went to the bar to order two beef Sunday lunches only to be told they had ran out of beef and this was within 2 hours from the start of service. Also the garden garden furniture is in a very poor condition and the garden itself is in a condition that I can only describe as a complete state. Needless to say I won't be returning!

I brought my mum here for dinner and I give 4 stars overall due to waiting for ages to get our food and when we did, the portion size was on the small side. Things you'd expect as part of your meal, like onion rings with a steak, were a pay for extra. However, it was clear they were short staffed and the service we received from Morgan was outstanding, as was the quality of the meal. I would recommend this place on the service alone, just don't expect much on the plate with a main course.

Came here on a recommendation. On arrival no-one was there to greet us at the entrance to the restaurant. Eventually went to bar to ask if we could have food in the bar with our dog. Then waited almost 10 minutes to be served a drink, despite there being three members of staff around the bar. They seemed interested in anything but serving. When finally served a drink I asked for a menu. The barman said err yeah ok, then walked off & didn't come back. Had to ask a waiter for a menu. When food ordered & served it was reasonable but not particularly hot. We weren't asked how our food was, which was disappointing. Tried to get another drink during this time, but yet again the bar service was terrible. What a disappointing evening. A lovely looking pub let down by terrible incompetent staff. Some feedback from the owners would be appreciated - from previous reviews, all I'll get is 'thanks we'll try better next time' - really???!
