My wife and I stayed at the Fox last night. We were made very welcome from arrival yesterday afternoon until we left this morning. On arrival, the pub was busy, with a happy mix of locals watching the TV sport and visitors having an afternoon break from walking in an amazing area. Contrary to a previous reviewer who grumbled about local people using their own local pub and making a noise, I thought it was great that the Fox is a community pub. There was a really positive atmosphere. The bar is definitely lively, but the lounge, where food is served, is quieter. Dinner was excellent quality for a £14 drink and meal deal. Living in Cambridgeshire, I can only dream about good quality at that price locally! We had two drinks each, and the staff even made sure the two most expensive drinks were charged to the deal, even though ordered separately. Extra milk for drinks in our room came with a smile. In the morning, breakfast again was great and served with a smile. The Fox is definitely on my 'reckon I will come back' list.

Brilliant burgers and hotdogs. Loaded fries excellent. Lovely service. Will definitely return for more meaty treats!

Such a terrible shame as the food is amazing, have ordered and collected before but decided to have a delivery tonight, delivery time was 55mins which was fine but we ordered at 6.10pm and the food didn't arrive until 8.20pm, as I said food is beautiful but definitely won't order for delivery again 😢

The menu was entirely vegan, featuring delicious options such as Masala Mushrooms, Masala Chips, a Samosa and Pakora Box, Vegan Chicken Tikka Naan and Chips, and a rich Vegan Lamb Curry served with Basmati Rice. Each dish was packed with authentic, fresh flavors that were truly impressive. The service was equally outstanding. The team was highly professional, understood our specific needs, and ensured that everything was handled with care. They were also very mindful of allergies, which made us feel well taken care of. Nelly’s Delhi not only delivered great food but also provided exceptional customer service, making our event seamless and memorable. Polite, friendly staff, and food was delicious as always, with great portion size and fair prices (their prices to buy has gone up too just like all of ours so prices accordingly, they have to make a profit in this crisis too)
