My husband and I would highly recommend Cup A Cha, as part of our Golden Wedding Anniversary we had a private hire for 27 people. It was beyond excellent! The afternoon tea was spectacular all of our guests were impressed with the beautiful venue, the food and the service! If you have a special event speak to Amy! She works with your needs and requirements!

Went in today for a cup of coffee and dotn get me wrong the venue and food and drink but wow the guy with the beard what an arrogant person I asked for a table for 3 and he basically ordered us to the table near the window I thought you could pick where you sit not be told by a headmaster where to sit made us feel like being back at school then the food and drinks were brought over by a lovely lady with ginger hair very polite and amazing food and drinks but the guy with the beard needs to work on his customer services skills a bit will avoid when he is on again

We had a lovely time at Cup a Cha. The service was outstanding and very allergen friendly! They checked the bread for my daughter who is dairy and soya free and also used a separate chopping board and knife to avoid any contamination. They asked if we wanted them to cut the children’s sandwiches into four too which was really thoughtful. We hadn’t realised there was a kids menu but still very reasonably priced ordering from the adults menu for them. The only downside I found with the food was the sausages as they were not really to my taste (and looked like the ones you’d get somewhere a bit cheaper!) but other than that the food was very nice. Loved the royalist feel and looking at all the pictures. Would recommend to others.

This is a very unique cafe great food great staff great atmosphere I will be trying their afternoon tea tomorrow and breakfast unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 11 so today I had a pot of tea and a soup that was out of this world.

What an absolute little gem! We were in Stafford as were due to be on. Hot air balloon ride but it was cancelled due to weather, hotel was booked so we still visited for the night and made a day of it. We stumbled on a cup of cha and I am so very glad we did! Staff were helpful and welcoming, they had their regulars and knew their orders straight away! We were welcomed, ordered breakfast and 2 teas. Husband was very happy with the size of the teapot and with it being an authentic pot. Breakfast was perfect delicious, portion size, hot and did i mention yummy! We’ve already said we will come back when we reschedule the flight! If needing to find somewhere to park, use B&M carpark it’s across the road and save you driving around the ring road. Just lovely!

Booked the room outside of operating hours here (on a Saturday evening 5:45-8pm). Paid £26.95pp, the food was lovely and tasty so absolutely no complaints enjoyed everything. Service was also good. The place itself is very nice and clean. Only reason I rated food a 4 is because as nice as it is I don’t know if it was worth £26.95 each.

Went in for lunch with a friend and the it was lovely. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, which is important in small cafes like this. I had a club sandwich, which was perfectly made and the cake I had was very fresh and tasted great. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area for a quick afternoon tea!

Popped in to Cup a Cha Stafford last Saturday for a quick coffee. What a delightful place it is 🥰 looking around the rooms at all of the Royal memorabilia, which beautifully decorates this lovely tearoom, could keep you busy for a while. We decided to have a cream tea as it was too nice to dash off quickly. The lovely, relaxed ambience clearly makes this place a popular venue, as we managed to get the last available table around midday. This tearoom provides a cheerful and very comfortable feel and is a great place to pop in to for a cuppa, to meet with friends or even book a larger party as there is plenty of space with lots of tables. There is a separate room which was set up for a large party, again, decorated beautifully. The cream teas were amazingly generous, with little pots of delicious jam and oodles of lush fresh cream accompanied by a couple of butter pats. We were served the freshest, warm scones and a hot chocolate and a cup of breakfast tea. Everything was served perfectly to our table in a cute teapot, individually patterned cups & saucers and plates. The staff were awesome, checking that all was ok with our order, pleasantly welcoming in their other customers as they arrived and checking on everyone who’d arrived before us. The place was absolutely spotless and beautifully presented. I will definitely be returning and I’d highly recommend others to visit for a delicious treat. Cakes and other items of the food, such as sandwich fillings, they serve are displayed clearly in their display cabinets which again, are spotlessly clean. The food looks and tasted delicious and was certainly as fresh as could be. What a treasure of a find, right on our doorstep. The nicest tearoom I’ve visited in quite some time. Well what a little gem! We’ve lived in Stafford for 8 years now and have frequently passed this cafe. Yesterday we decided to give it a go with our family 4 adults, 1 fussy teenager and my 10 year old son. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, good portion sizes and very well presented. What makes this cafe so lovely is the staff! We found them all to be attentive( without being over the top) welcoming and super friendly. If you find yourself in Stafford and thirsty or hungry I would definitely recommend this little cafe over any Costa or Starbucks in the town. I had walked past this place loads of times and today I decided to pop in I wish I had popped in before today. Upon entering we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly member of staff who said sit anywhere and passed the menu's over and said order at the counter when you are ready. Three of us had cakes and my other daughter had beans on toast. Realky great portion size a proper slice of cake. The cafe is decorated really nice in all things royal family. We will definitely be recommending this place and will definitely be back

Fantastic tea room, with a variety of choices for lunchtimes, food is gorgeous and the staff are absolutely brilliant. Staff are pleasant, well mannered, friendly and so helpful. Excellent customer service! Excellent food! My friend comes down from Runcorn once a year and she absolutely loves the Royal Family. Visited last year and of course with her loving the Royals it was a visit again this year. Cannot fault this fantastic tearoom and would highly recommend a visit if you have never been - you won't be disappointed

We visited for a birthday afternoon tea and had a fantastic time! A wide variety of drinks were available upon arrival and we had a lovely tomato and basil soup shot for a 'starter'. Afternoon tea for two consisted of generously filled sandwiches made from fantastic quality ingredients, salad, crisps, petit fours, scones and cakes. Very generous servings too! The staff are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The price is so reasonable for what you get too. Cup a Cha's rating as the top restaurant in Stafford is well deserved. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

We dropped in for high tea with our family of six, looking for the authentic British experience before we left England. We are so glad we did - it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the proprietor was extremely friendly. This whole experience made our day - don’t miss this place!

Visited today for my aunts 80th birthday, we both had the duchess afternoon tea and it was delicious. She was so impressed, she had recently had one in London and was blown away by the difference and quality at cup a cha to that!

Had 'full English' breakfast. Only scrambled egg available as no facilities. Sausages and bacon were anaemic and bland, microwaved scrambled egg and beans were bland too. No hash brown, mushroom or black pudding available. Toast was nice and plenty of butter. Place was ok but certainly won't go back for beakfast particularly at the price.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea here. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious as were the cakes. Everything was beautifully presented and the staff were very attentive. The actual cafe was very busy (which is a fantastic sign of its quality) but it did mean it got a little noisy etc (totally beyond the owners control and didn't spoil my experience) but if you were looking for somewhere quiet it may be worth checking with the owners for their quieter times.

It's a beautiful cafe with all the beautiful pictures . Had a breakfast. There were lots of beans and tomatoes , bacon was overcooked for me, and only scrambled egg was available . and wasn't very warm. And it took a while to get the food looked like short staff. They were very sorry, which was nice . The staff was attentive and friendly .

Absolutely fave place for lunch, breakfast or afternoon tea in Stafford. Been in today and again it was a lovely experience from the owner Amy. Whenever she is on we have always felt welcome (even with little ones) and she always goes the extra mile for anyone that walks through the door. The food as always, was amazing, the sausage and bacon sandwiches are beautiful, and my daughter had a milkshake which she states was the best ever(!). It's just lovely all round and I would recommend a visit to anyone xx

Lovely place, great theme. Staff were very pleasant. I had a full English breakfast, and it was nice apart from the scrambled eggs. They had been microwaved and were overcooked. I would still recommend a visit. The menu had plenty of choice, and I've heard the afternoon teas are to die for 😊

When most cafes use cheap bread and serve tea and coffee in mugs , nice to be served with lovely pottery .The visit was so pleasant we are going to use more regularly.

You may have seen this place on TV. It really is a homage to our late Queen Elizabeth 11. But it is also a very charming quintessential British tea room with tea pots and China cups and delicious food. Try it.

A fantastic themed tea room in Stafford, all of the staff are very welcoming and friendly, with great food and a good price. We went for a movie night evening which included a platter of lovely food and deserts (inc veggie options), and had a variety of cocktails.
