Located very close to the city centre and the station, I stopped at this cafe after the nearby parkrun on a Saturday morning. A great corner place to have freshly cooked breakfast. You can customise your breakfast the way you want. On a good day it would be nice to sit outdoors and observe the town. The coffee was made of premixed stuff which was my only gripe and also they did not cater to alternate milk requirements.

Came for an omelette, wasn’t on the menu however they made a lot of effort to make it for me with exactly why I wanted and it was lovely! Would definitely return x

We tried this cafe again as everyone deserves a second chance and wow what a difference to the last visit in 2003 when a lot of regulars left to go elsewhere this cafe is impressive with its improvements from the new decor and staff uniforms to the quality and presentation of the food to the new menu item it is now absolutely fantastic the breakfast is most probably the best for taste and value in Stafford the regulars should be coming back in there droves as for a varied menu and value I don’t know anywhere. Better in Stafford and believe me I’ve tried a lot of breakfast places as an ex builder I tried hundreds and this rates at the top the 10 item breakfast is top top value beautifully presented and so tasty if any builders read this phone ahead and order they will reserve a table and have it ready if your on limited time this is a highly recommended cafe that you won’t go wrong with ENJOY.

The food was freshly prepared, not frostbitten, with a large menu selection. The service was nice and efficient, parking space available for £1.20 per hour. I recommend it to anyone who likes good food.

Popped in here for some lunch whilst shopping in Stafford. Wouldn't return, food was awful, cheap produce and not cooked properly. The eggs were still gooey, the hash browns were soggy and the beans and mushrooms were cold, the sausages were swimming in a puddle of fat. It was freezing cold inside too so not comfortable to be sat eating. Everything was just cheap and not worth the money at all.

Honestly I haven't used Theos Cafe for a while. How foolish of me. I love the menu here and totally forgot how good it is. I love the fact that you can pick what you have on your all day breakfasts. I'm a vegetarian and dislike mushrooms, tomatoes and sometimes eggs. So I had a 7 piece breakfast, 2 sausages, 2 hash browns, beans & 2 slices of toast. It was absolutely delicious! I will most definitely be using Theos Cafe more. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Prices are good too. They also do decaf coffee, and noticed they have a slushy machine which will be awesome if we get a summer next year!

Beautiful breakfast, I had hot sandwich with bacon, egg and mushrooms. I've been asked how I like things to be cooked and everything was perfect. Great value for money. Staff it's friendly and you can see its a small family run business. Highly recommend!!!

A family run restaurant which offers meals throughout the day till 15:30, this includes meals for kids too. If you’re looking for a basic homemade breakfast this cafe is worth a visit. Warmly greeted and served by the host

Had the misfortune to call into Theo’s cafe on Saturday nothing on website about being taken over what a big mistake the reviews are old when ray was there I’m sorry but the breakfast was the worst I have ever had the misfortune to order to start the poached eggs I ordered runny where rock hard the mushrooms where a bunt offering The fried bread was cut up crusts so hard they flew off the plate and the bacon was absolutely stone cold an absolutely disgrace to serve up after complaining i received the money back for a seven item even though I ordered a ten item and didn’t tough the toast maybe it was reduced for the one bite of black pudding if you are calling into this place on old reviews forget it it’s long gone there are far better places in Stafford to eat who serve HOT Tasty food if not at your own peril you only have yourself to blame might be worth it in time when they find someone who can actually cook swerve.

Very good little cafe never had anything bad from there try to go once a week maybe I should go more often.

A good ordering system, so that you can choose your favourite foods. Reasonably priced, Friendly service.

Paid when ordered, then had to wait almost an hour for a simple sandwich order. Despite politely enquiring why the wait was so long, was rudely told "they're on it." No cutlery supplied. Will not return.

This is my parents favourite cafe in Stafford..today I had the chance to visit...AWESOME!! The lady was SUPER friendly! My mom had a pork roast and i must say it looked LUSH ..I had a sandwich done to my likening and I was well happy ...! Extreme value! We will return!! Thank you..xx

I love this little place, nice and clean which makes a refreshing change from some of the small cafes I've been to. The music in the background was perfect, the food was very nice and the prices were great. I will definitely call in again.

Great cafe, used to be a regular here when I lived in Stafford absolutely fantastic food and the size and quality is excellent. One best cafes iv been to and great service. Would recommend to all :)

Great cafe near the Guild Hall. Wonderful all day breakfasts, sandwiches and meals. Very basic, functional cafe with outdoor seating. Only downside: It can be a bit chilly in there. Overall, great fry ups and meals. Yum. Very affordable. £

If you see a cafe full of tradesmen and the public you just know the food is going to be good and they do not disappoint it’s fresh hot plentiful and super tasty have tried Thousands of cafes being an ex builder and only ever found one to compare with Theo’s who do hot breakfasts and steaming hot roasts at lunchtime the people who work there are always pleasant and the service is quick there menu is extensive even down to the children if you want a tasty cooked breakfast or lunch and your in Stafford then don’t hesitate go straight there I promise you will not be disappointed You can even treat yourself to a pudding.

Been in a few cafe's for breakfast and this is the best .You can pickn choose what goes on your plate,it's cooked perfect, is very low priced and is well presented . The lady serving is very friendly too. Park in wilkos and it's across the road,simples!

Before lockdown I went here frequently. Today was the first time since lockdown. Breakfast up to it's usual high standard. Very good value for money. Will be a frequent visitor again.

Can never complain anytime we eat at Theo's. 2 oatcakes, hash browns, sausages, eggs, and beans is the ultimate hangover or can't be bothered to make anything food.

Theo's does a nice breakfast, you can choose how many items you have and tea is a proper mug full. Everything is cooked to perfection and nicely presented . Staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Food was great my grandson theo loved his sausage n egg sandwich we all enjoyed it not to expensive 3 grandson's my daughter and myself all for £22.50p including drinks not bad at all will definitely be back wen we visit Stafford again xx

Excellent little cafe . Fresh cooked food , good quality and very reasonable . Would recommend . We settled for their toasties which were very good . Busy also serving roast dinners and all day breakfasts which also looked excellent .

Better cafe in the market just across the road. The time form paying to actually recieving food was 30minutes never again. Price wise is a no no never again.

Great food, service, price, the coffee is good too. It’s not a posh cafe but I didn’t come for that. An old fashioned diner hidden in Stafford, one of the best full English breakfasts around - and I’ve had a lot. All day breakfast too if you’re not a morning person. Why go to spoons when this is better, cheaper and a local business run by and for local people. Lovely.

Fabulous cafe that serves proper home cooked meals not many about in stafford anymore. Good hearty traditional family favourites. Also does slimming world breakfasts. Make a proper mug of tea . Great value for money, staff are lovely. Seating outside aswell so when the weather is nice you can enjoy a meal in the sun.

Excellent Place for good warm and hearty meals with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Open early. Good coffee. Full vegetarian breakfast on the menu, but sadly I wasn’t that hungry. The beans on buttered toast hit the spot. Good service. Music a bit too loud for me, but I’ll be back.

A warm and welcoming Cafe with lovely food at a very reasonable price, always worth a visit.

First visit while in Stafford while looking for somewhere to have breakfast. I knew this place was here but had never previously tried it.Very glad we did! Friendly staff and good value food. A bacon and egg sandwich, sausage and egg sandwich, cup of tea and can of diet coke came to less than a tenner. Food was freshly cooked to order and served with a smile. There were a lot of people coming and going (to eat in and take out) when we were there so it seems a popular place. It's not a big or luxurious place, but if you're looking for decent food at a very reasonable price in Stafford then you can't go far wrong. We will be back.

We had a 10 peice breakfast, for the price is not bad, but when it came out my sausages was deep fat fried and anorexic my bacon was like plastic and mushrooms and hashbrown was slathered in grease, we had 2 bites and left it all.The best part was crusty toast and poached egg.I know i like my fry ups big and nice but not all deep fried.will not be going back, seating is way to close together aswell.

Visited for the 2nd time today whilst visiting Stafford. What a great cafe, great food piping hot, very good menu choice lots of specials and favourites, Always seems to be busy, the all day breakfasts seem to be very popular and looked delicious. Had the roast of the day which was excellent, 3 veg, fresh meat and potatoes, piping hot and served quickly The staff are excellent i was served quickly abd efficiently and would highly recommend this cafe whilst in Stafford would put it as the best in the area. Will visit again next time in Stafford.

Weve stopped for breakfast a few times now & have always enjoyed it except for the bacon. Its always rock hard & over cooked, then I noticed the other day that it is pre-cooked & kept in a plastic container! Then the people cooking the food used there hands to handle it? Yuck!!! I couldnt eat mine after witnessing that to be honest...Come on guys.....please use tongs to pick up the food items not your fingers & invest in a griddle to cook it fresh..... if you really must handle food then at least wear blue catering gloves...after all you are displaying a 5 food hygiene rating so at least be hygienic.

It's a fairly standard kind of place. Not amazingly decorated, nor with a great ambience but it does what it does well. If you want hearty, down to earth food at good prices then you could do a lot worse. Also a good place to get a morning brew and a bacon sarnie.

Feeling guilty of walking past this cafe on numerous occasions but today decided to give it a go. Had sausage egg and chips and enjoyed every bit of it. They serve up home made chips which you don't seem to get anywhere nowadays. The cafe is spotlessly clean and service spot on, will be going back on a regular basis I think.
