Lovely food, I had a mixed grill and my friend had fish (salmon) and I took some seabass away, the service was lovely and the owner was so friendly, me and my friend will definitely come back again. Love Jinny x and Moses

So me and my family decided to pick this restaurant based off reviews alone. Family of 5 on a Friday night, and we managed to get a table. The team at Salt and pepper looked after us all, very hospitable and the service on point. Now the food from the starters to the mains amazing, soo happy that we found this gem of a restaurant. Also we all noticed that the team work tirelessly to ensure you are looked after and the cleanliness again on point. Helps as my one child is very ocd. We all walked away very full and all had a conversation about how much we enjoyed the restaurant. Good point to note, none of us took our phones out, not even to take a pick of the food as we just loved the atmosphere.

We had a wonderful welcomes and very yummy food at SALT n PEPPER! there was a big group of us and they made us feel very welcome, the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, we ordered 3 family specials! And they offered us hot Turkish tea before we left. Definitely recommend eating here!

Although food and table service were both decent. I do have a relatively major point to make. I called to ask if they had a table free to which the restaurant confirmed. Me and my family 4 total attended, couldn't finish our meals because we were asked to leave early due to them overbooking. I give them the credit in reducing the bill, however I don't expect to be asked to leave my meal due to overbooking. Shame really. 1st experience was a poor experience because of this.

Have tried the Turkish breakfast and evening meals several times, cant fault the service, nor the food! Lovely little place, great atmosphere and value for money! The breakfast was the best we have had so far in the UK and tops ones we have had in Turkey too! Definitely recommend!

This hidden gem in Walsall is a must try. This restaurant was recommended to me and I am so glad that I tried it. The staff are so attentive, the service is 10/10. The food is absolutely amazing 👏. As it has become a favourite place of mine, I have tried a few items on the main menu. For starters, we always order the cold meza with bread. The bread is absolutely delicious. For mains, I have had the lamb cops (cooked to perfect) the salmon, chicken wrap, and lamb wrap(this is my absolute favourite, it's mouth watering). We always end the night with Turkish tea, dessert, I would highly recommend the cold rice pudding dish(not sure of its proper name) it's beautiful. I'm addicted. We also get a mocktail, which is always refreshing. The food is well priced, and we roughly spend around £27 per person. Which I think is greatly priced for the quality of food and portion size. Definitely give this place a try if you like Turkish food.

Book in advance it's very popular. Quite understandably The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly and efficient. The decor is so clean and modern. The chef cooked the barbecue on open view but the room does not smell of cooking. The food is just as good as I have had living in and visiting Turkey over many years. And all this treasure is in Walsall! No wonder it's buzzing every night

Me and my wife, dined here last night the food was really beautiful we shared a mixed grill was plenty enough for us, the staff very polite and so helpful and friendly, also a good selection of drinks, I must say that the Turkish beer is great, definitely will be visiting here again in the near future 5* all round difficult to fault.

Best Turkish food I’ve had! We ordered the platter for 2/3 and everything tasted amazing. The meat was juicy and tender, the chicken was flavoursome and the humous with bread 😍. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely.

Amazing food brilliant service manager very sweet has attention for details. Best sea bass and salad was to die for with their secret weapon. Chicken wings are a defo must check this place out. You won’t regret it….

We ordered the family platter and there was hair in the couscous. It completely ruined our experience and appetite. Please maintain proper food hygiene.

Overall a very good experience the service was great I had the chicken shish was bit dry lacking moisture could have been marinated longer I think for full flavour but still good portions, salads are amazing you can tell they care about what they are doing and that something i always consider and appreciate my wife love the fish and rice will definitely visit again but may have the lamb more to explore......... thank you guys overall good place no doubt

Enjoyed a really nice meal here with my partner. It was very reasonably priced and good value for money. Complimentary bread, dips and salad to start, and a complimentary pudding at the end. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Good service and a nice modern decor.

Came across this restaurant on a Facebook post so thought would give it a try after reading the good reviews. We were greeted very warmly and indeed had excellent and attentive service all evening. Menu selection was very good and all food was hot ,fresh and good sized portions. Finished off the evening with a lovely complementary Turkish tea . Overall a really lovely evening with great service and food and is certainly a place we will visit again.

1st time customer, food was amazing, great portion sizes. Service was top tier staff very friendly. Would recommend and will be going back. Lots of regular returning customers and for a Thursday night was very busy.

No bread with soup 😢....not much taste to the lamb in the humus kavurma. Everything else was good 👍

Very welcoming restaurant. Maitre d' is very respectful and pleasant. Decor is tasteful and Turkish. Menus give a good array of traditional Turkish dishes. Plenty of Aubergine and yoghurt and shishes of all kinds. Food is plentiful, so beware of over-ordering. Complimentary accompaying salads and relishes come with starters & lovely warm Pide bread. Mains are served with plenty of rice or veg. A complimentary "rice" pudding in a ramekin and Turkish tea rounded off the meal. Attentive serving staff without being overbearing was appreciated. A definite return is planned. It's important to help such a restaurant in Walsall to survive as they serve well cooked simple foods at good value for money. Parking at Asda within 2hr free time span or free after 6.30pm adjacent to Lyndon House Hotel and outside The Guild Hall in High St., Disabled Parking spaces there too. There are a few parking spaces in Goodall St., which, be aware, is effectively one way beyond Freer St. Go into High St. and you can't return to Goodall Street.

Service was a bit disappointing, not sure if large groups were too much to handle by waitresses and managers just observing restaurants and numbers walking through the door. The food was okay and I won't be ordering a shared platter as an option as the photo is not what we got. Complimentary items were not even provided we had to ask for it and hot drinks! It's more ideal for couples or groups of 4 to be managed at this restaurant. They do not provide tap water however you can open bottled water and get charged!

First time here tonight and I have to say the service was excellent , not only did we have bread dips hummus salad tea and dessert on the house .. the food was exceptional.. I would highly recommend this place and definitely somewhere I will return in the future , a special mention to Sarah who could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible also the manager very kind and pleasant ..

Very poor service waitress have not got a clue they to learn to have a bit of manners below average service food was cold to busy chatting between them selves the owner told them a few times but they didn’t care wouldn’t be going back in a hurry

Grateful for the extras we got, but a bit dissapointed with some of the items, food was very drowning in oil and some food items did leak in the bag and get into other food. Overall the dish was alright but not as good as other items on the menu.

Found this place through a Google Search of 'Restaurants near me', and given the fact I love Turkish food, and with an already high rating, I felt it was a safe bet. It was more than a safe bet. What a find. These guys know what they're doing. High quality meat, expertly cooked over the hot coals, with fragrant rice, and fresh bread, salad and dips/sauces - I was blown away. I'm here for 24 hours on business, otherwise I'd be going again tomorrow night... and the night after that. Mixed Grill - seriously, go for it!

The manager is extremely rude. Half of the platter was received even though I paid 46 pounds for it. Instead of apologising he replied that I should have ordered a larger platter. The food was cold and low quality. Never ordering from this place again.

Food was delicious! Calamari starter superb, nice bread dips and chicken shish was ace. Was soo full but wanted to try the baklava so got it to go, was totally worth it. If back in Walsall will 100% be back and would recommend. Thank you again!

The food here is amazing, from the dips and appetisers to the main dishes, everything has so much flavour! The Salt N Pepper family deal is the perfect amount of food for 4 people. Hummus is so good and halloumi was not too salty which is great. Complimentary Turkish tea was fab and the rice pudding was great. Baklava might be the best I've ever had so definitely worth getting. Only thing i will say is that our food came out warm rather than hot so it went cold almost straight away but the food itself is amazing!

First time ordering from here and the food is 10/10. I thought it was pricey at first but after seeing the portion size I'm not complaining. Very happy with the meal and the generous portions. I appreciate the quality and fast delivery despite ordering in the last hour. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Was here on Valentine’s Day the food is amazing but had bad service as this is not my first time here I’ve been here 3-4 times before never had any issue but this time i asked for a highchair three times and the waiter we had didn’t bring any till we told another one who brought it straight away and we ordered food. Then we change our mind of some of the items and the lady got frustrated and said decide what you want to order as we are busy

Complimentary warm bread starter very much appreciated, his place never fails me and my guests, my daughter introduced me this restaurant a year ago and I have dined in many times with friends and family, I’ve even had delivery too. What stands out at this restaurant beside the food, is the friendly and welcoming service: by Harun and his team (Saida, Sara and others). The food quality has been consistent, the mix grill is my go-to dish, I have had the grilled chops, ribs and chicken wings too, equally succulent and flavourful as the other menu items that I have tried. The complimentary Turkish tea helps but the homemade rice pudding (sutlac) completes the meal. This is a restaurant and not a kebab house, the ambiance and atmosphere reflects that hence such a wonderful dining experience every time. Thanks guys.
