We had a wonderful meal celebrating our friends birthday, the food was so tasty with a brilliant menu choice. The service and friendliness of the staff made it even better. We will definitely be visiting again and recommending you to everyone.

I went with my friend today. It was my second time trying Turkish food and I was not disappointed. I had Sea bream with new potatoes and vegetables. Awesome and delicious! It’s my spot in Walsall from now on😃 Ambience was top notch too! Highly recommend!

We visited here 27th April for my son's 16th Birthday. What an amazing experience we all had. The food was delicious from calamari, prawns to the meat platter main absolutely delicious. Very fast service and the hospitality from the manager and kindness was just brilliant. I would really recommend. Thank you for making my boys birthday even more special. See you soon x

Absolutely fantastic experience at Salt n’ Pepper! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. We were given fresh bread and a selection of dips on the house, which were absolutely delicious and a lovely touch to start the meal. We both ordered the mixed grill platter and were seriously impressed - generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. There was so much food that we ended up asking for the rest to be packed up to take home, which they were more than happy to do. The staff were incredibly attentive throughout, regularly checking in to make sure everything was okay without being intrusive. Although we declined dessert (we were too full!), they kindly brought out some Turkish tea on the house, along with complimentary rice pudding - both of which were a lovely surprise and so tasty. The restaurant itself is clean, well-kept, and has a really nice atmosphere. Honestly can't praise this place enough. A true gem in Walsall for anyone looking for authentic Turkish cuisine with outstanding service. Highly recommended - thank you to all the team!

I had a great experience at Salt n Pepper! The food was absolutely delicious—especially the shish kebabs, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The manager was absolutely amazing, the staff clean tables regularly, very attentive. We walked in with a party of 10 unreserved, they made space for us and made us feel welcome. Waitresses are polite. The place is clean. The food tastes great! Most definitely will come again, I would 100% recommend trying out Salt 'n' pepper.

You sell the best fresh baklava ever..

Placed order on just eat which they accepted and said up to 45 mins. Wait 40 mins and they change deliver time to another 40 mins. Not sure why they accepted order of they can’t cater to takeouts

Absolutely delicious food. Came piping hot. I have ordered a few times before and I will continue to. The flavour and depth of their food is amazing and their portion sizes are great. Not a single complaint about salt n pepper. All of their dishes are delicious and you can tell they take pride in the food they make. 10/10.

We had Sunday lunch here last week and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully cooked – the mixed hot starter and traditional bread in particular was a highlight. The service was spot on too: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. Easily one of the best Turkish restaurants we've visited in the area. Highly recommend – we'll definitely be back!

Very welcoming restaurant. Maitre d' is very respectful and pleasant. Decor is tasteful and Turkish. Menus give a good array of traditional Turkish dishes. Plenty of Aubergine and yoghurt and shishes of all kinds. Food is plentiful, so beware of over-ordering. Complimentary accompaying salads and relishes come with starters & lovely warm Pide bread. Mains are served with plenty of rice or veg. A complimentary "rice" pudding in a ramekin and Turkish tea rounded off the meal. Attentive serving staff without being overbearing was appreciated. A definite return is planned. It's important to help such a restaurant in Walsall to survive as they serve well cooked simple foods at good value for money. Parking at Asda within 2hr free time span or free after 6.30pm adjacent to Lyndon House Hotel and outside The Guild Hall in High St., Disabled Parking spaces there too. There are a few parking spaces in Goodall St., which, be aware, is effectively one way beyond Freer St. Go into High St. and you can't return to Goodall Street.

The food, management and staff never fail to impress. Have been a number of times and the last time was my birthday celebration. Had a great time!

When i walked in i was welcomed by the staff, they kindly guided me through what i wanted to order, the food came fast, it was hot and delicious. They also gave me free turkish bread and sauces with it which made my day, the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. 10/10.

My husband and I have been here a few times and they never disappoint. The food overall is really nice, the salad thats complimentary is one of the best side salads I have had so colorful and full of flavour but all the food is good, you get decent portion sizes as well. The servers are always very professional and patient it never feels like are just trying to get rid of you. The price isn't too bad either you are probably only paying a little bit more then you would on a pub meal and the food is so much better quality.

Nice clean and good food. Wings were nice and juicy too. We got the smallest of the platters to share between two safe well as the cold mezze platter. It was just right!

Been today with my husband. Excellent lamb chops and the moussaka was delicious. Definitely will be going again. Husband had Turkish beer and I had traditional baklava. We will definitely go again. Also, the staff were very welcoming

The food here was flipping fantastic every little bit of food popped with a bursting flavour on my tounge it was brilliant the drinks were brilliantly smooth every grain of rice provided a comforting just right warmth the lamb sharpened with professionalsm you will like or love this place and every bit of salad made with a colourful variety the starter was welcoming as they should be then the desert oh the mouthwatering desert the pistachio cake was brilliantly presented as the creamyness covered with a fudge brown chocolate topping and crunchy green delicious things a the bottom makes for a gorgeous combo of deserters goodness the staff were very friendly and our food did cost £25 pounds however it's all very worth it in the end have a nice day /morning/evening/night

The best kebab I've had in West Midlands . the food is high quality and not greasy. The staff are all incredibly friendly and you can tell they take pride in the food they make. I would recommend to anyone!!! (they also cook certain foods on a charcoal grill which really adds to the flavour) Oh and also the rice pudding (Sütlaç )& baklavas are fantastic end of the your story please add turkish tea. Forever ‘’YOZGAT’’

A real hidden gem of Turkish Delights when it comes to food. Got served extremely well made lamb shish kebab together with a nicely put rice. With a good selection of drinks to pick from. Of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties. Really helpful staff who seems to have a passion for what they do and a real thank you to the chief for giving me a great food experience during my time.

The food was very nice && cooked well.. service was also fast.. only down fall for me was i dont really like rice and i wanted to change it to chips instead but kept telling me i had to pay for them.’when she could have just changed it. In the end i did pay for them but i didnt get much chips on my plate where the rice would have been placed. Overall would go back again.

Joined my family who were already there. As we went in we were the only people there beside another table with four people . We needed more chairs and a table. No one bothered to come and help us join the tables. I sat on the chair patiently waiting for a clean table to be put in front of me and my brother, I asked politely “excuse me can you please clean this table so I can move it and join to the table” that my family were already sitting at. At first I thought the waitress was rude but she was actually rushed of her feet as the owner sat behind the bar and watched. Next came the food which I actually thought was delicious but the for the price you would expect a lot more. There was 10 of us on the table and we shared 5 glasses as no one bothered to bring out any more until asked multiple times. Again no problem for us but it’s basic common sense especially if you work in a restaurant on a day to day basis these things are minor. My father ordered extra bread as we were not satisfied with the portion size. I didn’t eat much as I wanted everyone else stomach to be satisfied, to be honest my hunger died by that point. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, as I came out I went to the bar and asked the waitress for the bill. The owner of the restaurant walked past and said to her “make sure you charge them for that extra bread. At this point I felt very insulted as if I was going to run away without paying for some bread even the waitress found that unacceptable and replied to him “I already know” bless her she didn’t charge for the extra bread lol. All he had to do was tell her without me realising. I found the owner very rude and racist (we are a Pakistani family) he was very hospitable towards to people (Turkish I’m assuming) who were sat on the other table. Not once did he come to our table to ask if the food or service was ok. Being a business owner myself I understand how important it is to treat all your customers equally. This is my first ever negative review on Google and hopefully the last. I would never go to this place ever again even if the food was free no thank you I value my self respect. No wonder this place was dead on a Sunday evening. Maybe if it was under new management they would do better. To the owner you sir are a disgrace learn some basic customer service, maybe if you spent a week with me you’d see an improvement in yourself. Go at your own risk if you like being insulted. 👍🏻

Been here today with my family it was our first time to eat here and we are very much surprised how great their service, from staff to the owner who are all very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant atmosphere is fantastic, its clean and quiet. Then the food, from starter to dessert are soo delicious, we had salad, mixed dippings ,mixed grill for family of 4, which is a lot for us to be fair but truly amazing taste and delicious flavor, my hubby and my mum are very picky and they have had enjoy this food so much.by the way Turkish tea, mixed dippings, bread and rice pudding were all complementary,the owner is so friendly and gave us extra turkish tea ☕️ alsoo. We will definitely coming back here again and ag. I will highly recommend this to all my friend, colleagues and to everyone who loves turkish food. We visited this restaurant on the 17th January 2025, as we hadn't been for a while and we were really looking forward to going! The restaurant is a gem! The food is always tasty, served quickly and presented really well. We had calamari as one of our starters and it was delicious. We also had king prawns in a garlic and chilli sauce, which was lovely too. For our main, we had a sharing platter, which consisted of various meats, two different rices and bread. There was so much, it could have easily been divided by three guests. As it was one of our special days, the owner gave us a complementary slice of chocolate cake but also a lovely Turkish keyring and bottle opener, which we thought was a lovely touch. Staff were so friendly and polite. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Will be visiting again in the future.

Seen reviews though I'd give it a try. Very disappointed. Lidl sauce, dun rivers hot sauce and Frank's hot sauce given. Waitress non uniform day. Sat down 1 minute later trying to take order. £45 grill was small. Asked to change rice to fries, refused. Orderd fries which tasted dirty from old oil. Actual meat was ok but nothing special. Salad was basic. Easy pass if you like Turkish food
