It doesn't get much better than this. Been visiting for day taster sessions for years. Recent changes are amazing! It's so clean and well organised and all the staff are so helpful, kind and considerate. They make you feel so special, and the treatments are very well done. The food is amazing too. I think it is still worth the prices for that very special treat, cause they do look after you. The only thing I missed was the hot drinks. You used to be able to help yourself which was always nice. Now it costs a tenner for 2 coffees...still, they were really tasty! You can still tell how much they value their customers. Its a very special place.

Excellent hotel, spa and restaurant.

Great hotel with an even better gym and the breakfast is delicious If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stay here. The staff is lovely and the rooms are lush. But the gym is for me the best bit (although I did not try the spa which might be better).

We attended a 70th Birthday party on Saturday and have to say the whole experience was fantastic. Outstanding food, excellent service and a brilliant room. The Oak Room fits only 16 people and it was the perfect venue for a small party to celebrate together. There was a separate vegan/vegetarian menu with some delicious choices for those with dietary requirements, and they also handled two of our party with a serious nut allergy perfectly also. Thank you to the team at Fairlawns, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic spa with great and super clean facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not too crowded and able to access everything easily. Well worth a visit.

Stopped at the Fairlawns after getting married down the road and for the short time we were there, the staff went above and beyond. They left chocolates in our room (which I'm pretty sure was upgraded too!!), with a lovely note congratulating us. Breakfast was lovely. Wish we had stayed there longer.

Great location and run by a good team. Room we had was ok but bed was very hard, dead pillows and the smallest toilet I have come across. Bar service was excellent if a little expensive.

My Husband and I booked an overnight stay in a deluxe room. I received an email upon booking to advise that the hotel hosts events/functions over the weekend and guests can sometimes experience noise until 12pm, so to contact the hotel if it was an issue. I did contact them and I was anxious about this, but they were polite and helpful and did reassure me that our room was situated in a quiet part of the hotel. Our room was situated on the opposite side of the hotel to the function, as advised on the phone (the function happened to be a wedding). We could hear some music in our room up until around 7pm (probably echoing in the wind), but after we returned from dinner, it was peaceful, no music or noise from other guests at all. We both had a very comfortable sleep, it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and staff were all incredibly attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food and drink were also delicious. Staff in the restaurant went above and beyond and were all wonderful. Parking was also very easy - plenty of spaces. We had a great stay, thank you. This hotel is very well run.

Went for a Revitalise Me Spa Day with my wife and I have to say it did not disappoint. The breakfast and lunch were great. All the facilities were clean as well as refreshing. The massage was so nice. It was my first ever massage and the woman I had was so nice and comforting. I would suggest if you are looking to go there, make sure to have your own slippers instead of buying theirs like I did. My only criticism is that there are no hooks in the men's shower stalls. That's me nitpicking though because it was so good. 10/10 would go again!

Faultless, everything from first arrival, front of house, the rooms, cleanliness, is faultless. We booked to spend an evening here, had two treatments the first was a full body deep tissue massage with Charlotte, I’ve never felt so comfortable and relaxed. It was worth every single penny. So professional with healing hands highly recommend getting a massage, had a facial after with a lady called Olivia who was also wonderful. Our evening meal was 10/10 cooked to perfection, all the staff in the restaurant particularly a young chap called Harry were outstanding and real credit to the restaurant. I will 💯 be retuning and would highly recommend coming here to anyone looking to be pampered.

I just wanted to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to ALL of the staff at Fairlawns for making my spa stay (my birthday treat) so special. I always have a magical time at Fairlawns but this time was even better, not just because of the wonderful refurbishments, but because of the extra mile the staff go to make it the best experience ever. A shout out to Jo & Ralphie in the Spa Lounge for whom nothing was too much trouble; to Beth, Isabelle & Ruth in the restaurant for their excellent customer service; not forgetting the brilliant therapists - Brie, Charlotte and Tia for taking all of my stress away and last but not least the cleaning and maintenance staff for making it a safe space for me to enjoy everything because I’m immunosuppressed and the entire place is immaculate and germ free. Delicious food and drinks, outstanding service and top of the range facilities. What more could you ask for?

Venue for my son's wedding....it was an incredible day made all the better by the fantastic staff... nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a yes and a smile....my room was great and the food was superb.... cannot recommend highly enough....

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Everything about it is great - the staff, the food, the rooms are all amazing! Whenever I come here I worry if I’m going to be disappointed, but I never am. I had my wedding reception here 11 years ago (one of the best and most memorable days ever!) and we keep coming back for food, spa days, treatments and have stayed here a few times. If I could give it more stars, I would ☺️

I recently stayed here for my birthday as a gift. I can't say anything negative about the hotel. From the moment we checked in the customer service was exemplary and this included front of house and in the restaurant. Exceptional customer service was shown in the restaurant for our evening meal by a member of staff called Hayley, who went above and beyond to make the meal a 5* experience. The food was fantastic, a small menu, but inclusive to all dietary needs. The breakfast menu was also excellent with a choice of continental and cooked breakfasts. We paid to use the thermal spa facilities, which is well worth the extra cost. There is a choice of rooms including the sauna, steam rooms, hot tubs, salt rooms and many more. The facilities were perfectly clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The room was unique in a maisonette style and again it was extremely clean and luxurious. I would recommend this hotel and I will be visiting again very soon.

We had our wedding at Fairlawns and we couldn't have asked for a better day. The events team were brilliant in the lead up to the wedding, nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated all of our plans for the day so easily. On the day we felt so relaxed and at ease, everything was taken care of from when we arrived. You can definitely tell they have done many weddings! The food was incredible, and all of our guests were commenting on how lovely the day was. Thank you for a fantastic wedding day!

24.4.24 We chose the fairlawns for my Mom's wake. We booked the cedar room. Thank you Joanne and Josh for your time in helping to choose the right room and menu. From entry to exit the service from all the staff was impeccable. The food was amazing and enjoyed by all. So glad we booked the Fairlawns. Perfect end to a perfect day for a perfect mom.

Stayed during the week due to work travel and absolutely couldn't fault it. Staff is very helpful and friendly Spa facilities are really nice and clean. Room was very spacious and clean. Missed some toiletry bits, e.g. body lotion (considering it's a Spa hotel) but not a big deal. Restaurant food was lovely but a bit pricey. Otherwise, would recommend and would stay again.

Myself and partner spent 2 nights at this hotel. I must say we have throughly enjoyed our stay. Chris the chef and Hayley made us feel like we were millionaires food wise. All the staff made us felt welcome especially Mo, Beth and Shanon. Overall our experience was A star. We will definitely come back and also we will spread the word of this lovely hotel and spa. Thanks to everyone for our outstanding experience.

We were at a funeral, the outside grounds were well looked after. The entrance was warm clean and welcoming, the staff were friendly smart efficient, The room was large and welcoming, tables had very clean tablecloths serviettes, cutlery, food was fresh tasty well served

The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are great. The food in the restaurant is pricey but very very nice so we'll worth the money in my opinion. I haven't tried the spa, but it is always full when I stay here.

Booked the Cedar room for my sisters baby shower and had the loveliest day🥺just want to say a massive thank you to Hayley and Julie, they went above and beyond to make us comfortable and constantly made sure we were satisfied. The service was unmatched. The food was absolutely delicious so huge thank you to the head chef, John! Would recommend anyone to come here and will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds.

We went there for mother's day which is traditionally a very busy day in hospitality. I thought the presentation of the food was top class. Also, good staff. What I like as well is that there are some staff who I've recognised over a number of years now on the waiting and front of house team. That's a great sign that staff and customers are treated well. It was a more expensive menu on the day, but you get what you pay for. Fair play, well worth it.
