Our first visit here and definitely not our last! We were warmly welcomed into the cozy restaurant and taken to our table. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Our poppadoms came very promptly with a selection of sauces, followed by our onion bhaji starter, chicken tikka akbari and mixed bhuna mains, and cheesecake for dessert. The food was beautiful and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The salmon fish is very very delicious and the naam bread is exellent. Good service! Plus the drinks (mango la ssi) it will make you refreshed after drinking it

Great evening meal! My boyfriend and I visited this week and we’re not disappointed. The staff were warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough. The food was perfect as always and we enjoyed our visit.

We had a nice evening meal, staff were polite and checked in on us making sure everything was right. Food tasted nice and fresh! We would recommend.

Beautiful food, definitely recommend

Went with a friend, the staff were friendly and the food was devine. It was lovely and relaxed, no rushing to get you eaten and the bill paid, if we weren't on a small time frame we would have been there a little longer. I will definitely be back again, thank you for a lovely meal!!

we have ordered from this take away a few times over the years. We'd not had a take away for a while, especially an Indian, so we were looking forward to it. unfortunately, there was no taste to it at all, very bland. I now wish I'd cooked instead of being lazy.

This restaurant is not very big compared to other Indian restaurants.But,don't let that fool you.The food here is first class,& won't break the bank.You can also take your own drinks.So,what's not to like.You will not be disappointed.

Really lovely small restaurant. Can probably only seat 25-30 people if full with 7 tables in use I think I remember correctly. Does not serve alcohol so own alcoholic drinks to be taken. Upon first view the outside makes it feel run down but when you get inside it's beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Lights dimmed and a fake fire on the TV. Food: Bit of miscommunication on the food I feel as we had the poddadoms but normally these are just for the table whilst waiting on the starter it meant we were waiting for our starter for a while as the servers were waiting for us to finish the poppadoms and dip. Once we asked for our food everything was swift. The food was lovely and well cooked. Owner is fabulous. He is warm and obviously well known and liked in the community talking to every table. The other servers could in my opinion take some tips from their boss as they seemed more subdued. Highly recommend great little find.

Lovely staff Lamb balti was bang on

After reading excellent reviews we decided to visit as a family of Four on friday evening expecting a full restaurant. We were the only customers in there at 7:30. I was a bit confused why the restaurant was empty if so many people rated it so high. The food was piping hot and very very tasty. I cant fault it at all. Staff were efficient and friendly. They dont sell alcohol so I had to walk through the restaurant to the pub where I got some stares from the local boozing chavs. Price a little expensive for 2 non alcoholic drinks, 4 popadoms, 4 mains, 3 rice and 2 nan breads £79.80. Would I return…..Yes.

The food was delicious as always. Plenty of it. Hot and tasty. This is my go to Indian everytime. The perfect meal to cheer you up. Highly rated and the delivery driver is also super friendly too.

Panka Walla is hands down the best Indian restaurant I have eaten from in the area. Both in the restaurant and via delivery, the food is consistently excellent, and the staff in the restaurant couldn't be friendlier or more welcoming.

Ordered takeaway on Monday night, chicken madras and chicken tikka masala , boiled rice and naan bread. The delivery came quite quickly, the naan breads were stale as were the poppadoms. The masala and the madras sauce was incredibly watery,( we had to tip some of the water off the plate at one point). We won’t be ordering from that place again. Very disappointed. The 2 star rating was for the rapid delivery.

Finally, I think we have found the one. First time we have ordered food from here and it was authentic and delicious, great delivery too. We enjoyed it so much that we visited the restaurant. Again, the food was fresh and delicious, such a great find.
