After reading excellent reviews we decided to visit as a family of Four on friday evening expecting a full restaurant. We were the only customers in there at 7:30. I was a bit confused why the restaurant was empty if so many people rated it so high. The food was piping hot and very very tasty. I cant fault it at all. Staff were efficient and friendly. They dont sell alcohol so I had to walk through the restaurant to the pub where I got some stares from the local boozing chavs. Price a little expensive for 2 non alcoholic drinks, 4 popadoms, 4 mains, 3 rice and 2 nan breads £79.80. Would I return…..Yes.

The food was delicious as always. Plenty of it. Hot and tasty. This is my go to Indian everytime. The perfect meal to cheer you up. Highly rated and the delivery driver is also super friendly too.

Panka Walla is hands down the best Indian restaurant I have eaten from in the area. Both in the restaurant and via delivery, the food is consistently excellent, and the staff in the restaurant couldn't be friendlier or more welcoming.

Ordered takeaway on Monday night, chicken madras and chicken tikka masala , boiled rice and naan bread. The delivery came quite quickly, the naan breads were stale as were the poppadoms. The masala and the madras sauce was incredibly watery,( we had to tip some of the water off the plate at one point). We won’t be ordering from that place again. Very disappointed. The 2 star rating was for the rapid delivery.

Finally, I think we have found the one. First time we have ordered food from here and it was authentic and delicious, great delivery too. We enjoyed it so much that we visited the restaurant. Again, the food was fresh and delicious, such a great find.

Such a lovely meal and reasonable prices, they catered and made a meal specifically for me, paneer tikka masala, which wasn't on the menu - the staff and management were incredibly welcoming and helpful - Overall 10/10 would definitely go again

Amazing place, delivery driver is always cheerful. Order here every now and then for a treat for me and my mom, and it never ever disappoints, best Indian takeaway by far. Initially I was going through each Indian takeaway and switching between them all, but this one has just been the last bastion, doubt I'll ever stray from this place. Only slight little thing I'd ask is an extra pot of vegetable stuff and mint yoghurt for the poppadom's, but that's honestly clutching at straws as both of those are free anyway! Order from this place, you won't regret it at all, 5 stars.

Attended this charming little restaurant on Sunday with my wife and son. We absolutely love the place, Mabs,Luthfur and Asad are always most welcoming and go out of their way to make sure that the food and the complete dining experience is memorable. All this is done with a smile on their faces and nothing is too much trouble. Bangladeshi food is a particular favourite of ours and we have frequented restaurants far and wide and I can say without any hesitation that Panka Walla is definitely up there with the best.You can keep you large noisy dining establishments ,give us small quiet intimate family run restaurants like Panka Walla every time.Please don't let the fact that you can't take alcohol along put you off.I like a drink as much as the next person but given the high standard of the food I'm prepared to forgo a tipple and don't really think about anything but tasty fare infront of me.I would encourage anyone who enjoys Bangladeshi food to try Panka Walla and guarantee that you will want to return. Lovely food, lovely staff we order here all the time but first time sitting in. My kids were making a lot of noise and they didn’t mind they spoke to the girls and us and always made sure we was comfortable and enjoyed the food.

We first tried Panka Walla January, and have been going every weekend since. The food is amazing, from presentation to the meals that are full of flavour. Most definitely our favourite place to eat. Reasonal prices, calm and relaxing atmosphere and love that fact they don't allow alcohol, so no loud annoying banter or unnecessary language, so great to take your little ones. The staff are lovely, so welcoming and nothing is to much. Please if you haven't already give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

hadn't had these before .was really nice creamy .and they gave me huge portions of lamb which I had cut. never had so much meat before in a dish.will deffo order again. they are bit away fro. me though but it was worth it for quality of food.and the delivery driver was ever so friendly so of them are not are rude and don't delivery to property. Will deffo have these again. thanks for lovely meal
