Staff polite and friendly, food was cooked perfect and service was superb!

First time ordering from this restaurant. Food arrived exactly on time, staff and delivery driver were all very friendly and to top it off the food was extremely delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were greeted by the wonderful staff & continued to be impressed throughout! Wonderful service, fantastic food with lots of choice! My husband & I visit here frequently and have done so for a while. The food is impeccable. Always cooked fresh & hot when served. There's plenty of choice on the menu (I'm trying to work my way through it) All the staff are so friendly and attentive. Never had a bad meal here. I would highly recommend. Great value too.

Booked for a family birthday, the staff were so welcoming, highly attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing, highly recommend the Afghan Chicken Palak.. I asked them to tone down the heat and they did this no problem at all. They even made a korma with just potato and cauliflower for my son. Was a lovely evening. Will definitely return. Thank you

I had a takeaway from here for the first time last night the food was hot, tasty and nothing missing. Could have done with a big more keema in my naan but enjoyed it.

This place is not good.. the reviews are amazing, but they must be friends 😁 I’ve spent £60 for a delivery,my wife had tandoori prawns which she loved, we had, a chicken jahal, a mix biryani, and a tikka masala, 2 of us have been ill since, and couldn’t eat it, for the reviews this place has got, it’s inspiring me to open an Indian on park hall, and I’m just going to sell pot noodle curries, because this is not a good curry house and if it gets reviews like it has then people will eat anything 😂😂. Worst Indian for us lot ever, infact it’s laughable. For anyone reading this, go to “the spinney” charlemont for a curry, don’t look much but it’s amazing. A true 5/5 . And stop eating that dross 🤢

So after hearing about “little India” 4 of us decided to give it a bash, my son kept going on about it so we decided to have a takeaway, it was ok, but more ‘miss’ than ‘hit’ , my wife had tandoori king prawns, which indeed were a hit. However I think it would be hard to make tandoori king prawn a mistake, she had it in container with a few onions and she loved it. My son’s fiancée had chicken tikka masala with egg fried rice 😴, she thought it was ok but oily and didn’t really agree with her, she was in constant heartburn and not really surprising, my son Han chicken Jhaal or jahal. As he’s a greedy git he started giving it a go, but soon slowed down and only ate a quarter of it. ( it’s usually gone) . It really didn’t suit him and this resulted in him spending the night on the toilet 😀. And last of all is me, I had the meal I have at every Indian when judging or reviewing… ‘mixed biryani’ the biryani was plentiful as I dropped that in my curry bowl, then came the bhuna sauce which there lay the problem…..OIL.. the top of the sauce had a clear liquid blanket on it. I drained that off and put the sauce on the biryani and to pin point the problem in no uncertain terms it’s oil. There was way too much, I ate what I could then went to the takeaway tray to put it back in and that was full of oil again, it must of drained down again. This makes curries tasteless. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between any of the different curries. All tasted the same. This is a crying shame, I was hoping for a great Indian and instead I’ve just reinflated my deflated self 😔. How this has gained a 5/5 status on tripadvisor is beyond me, I eat at Indians regular and always review. I’ve been going too India over 25 years, and I think I’ve tried pretty much everything from sugar cane juice to Bombay duck so I like to think I know what I’m on about. The person on the phone was excellent at taking order, had a few problems with connection but he bared with me, the order was accurate and hot. But I’m afraid the food in general was very bland and not really recognisable. I think this is due to oil misuse, it wouldn’t surprise me if I walked past the restaurant and seen orange paint sprayed up it with “just stop oil” wrote on the window, what a shame 😔 and still the best Indian food being served within 3 miles of my house is “the spinney” charlemont… it might not look great, but it really is… trust me!.

Went for a nephews Birthday party. Amazing food, some of the best I've had hands down! and the staff very nice! A great little hidden away gem and will be visiting again

I ordered a takeaway from the shop. When got here the chicken korma chicken was pink. The nan bread had something on it which looked like red dye. I phoned the shop they offered to send a new one then said there was no delivery driver. When I asked for a refund they said I would have to put the curry in the fridge and take it the next day. U

An absolutely wonderful meal in such a beautiful authentic setting. Such friendly and welcoming staff. The new decor is superb. The food is cooked to perfection and this place really should be on your visit list if you love curry. Well worth a trip out to this lovely place. If you are local, please try it out as it is a gem of a find on my doorstep. Thank you to Justin and his team. You made my evening! Plenty of parking nearby.

The food is amazing here we eat here & get take out at least 6 times a month. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Staff are lovely Highly recommend

A hidden gem. Our family party of 9 adults and 2 baby’s under 18 months old had a fantastic night at this super friendly venue. No request was too much for the very welcoming staff and the food was fabulous. A variety of well spiced dishes catered for all tastes. A well stocked bar kept I’d happy and prices were very competitive. Give it a go. You won’t regret it👍

I had a lovely experience at Little India on Saturday evening. The service was above and beyond, the staff couldn’t be more helpful! The food was delicious, thoroughly recommend the fish pakora and chicken balti. Will definitely return again in the future. 😊

Great restaurant, so nicely decorated and lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, in fact we started off thinking we'd ordered too much but we ate it all. Polite staff. They didn't rush us, nothing was too much. I will certainly be visiting again. This restaurant deserves a lot more recognition. Its a little gem.

Ordered tandoori fish paid £4.95. Received 3 very tiny bite size pieces. Not good. A regular customer ordering on average twice a month spending quite a bit on each order. No more. Little India have lost a regular customer who will not order from you again.

First time at Little India, I really enjoyed the food and it arrived quickly to the table. A pleasant evening.

I have got to be honest I think this is the best restaurant I have ever been too. They put lots of thought into the food and I am sure they do this for everyone. I think this is a restaurant who understands to be a 10 year old and designed to a curry just for me. They are really funny and good to talk with. My suggestion for food is the chicken curry with fried rice. It really made my night and I am glad I have come here.

Little India has morphed out of the closed down Kajal restaurant. Different owners and chefs. This is my 5th visit and it won't be my last. The welcome is always friendly. They will take walk-ins, but it's always best to book, even for the same evening. The food quality is excellent. Chicken is always tender and juicy, lamb is tender. Sea Bass is quite superb and beautifully cooked. The restaurant is licensed - Cobra and others. Look out for Afghan Chicken Palak. Lime & Ginger Sea Bass and Chicken Shashlik Jhol. The Tawas are superb as is the Labador. On my most recent visit (Sat 5th Aug 23) I tried the Labador and I can honestly say it was the most flavoursome dish I've tasted for a very long time. It is full of spice taste and with balanced heat to allow the ingredients to be tasted. These are totally tasty dishes. If you want them with less/more chilli hot then ask the staff. Just don't expect Chicken Tikka Masala. There are traditional favourites as well, with accompanying side dishes. Sag aloo is a standout. Amongst the Trad Specials try the Jaipur or the Korahi. For a starter try the Fish Pakora. If you don't want accompanying rice then ask for naan or similar instead. The staff are incredibly helpful in their advice and can help with terms and spice strengths. I can highly recommend this restaurant because the food is freshly cooked by expect Bangladeshi chefs using high quality ingredients.

Have eaten here many times since the restaurant opened. The menu is varied with a wide choice of dishes. Food is excellent, tasty and well presented. All staff are so friendly and professional, nothing is too much for them to ensure you enjoy your time in the restaurant. Will be back soon.

Lovely restaurant with very tasty dishes. Nice and cool inside, with ample seating. First time visiting and will certainly be ordering again ! Food was very nice, bought out to table promptly, with very tasty flavours. Meat was nice and succulent. Would recommend the butter chicken in particular. Not many places seem to perfect this dish, but the last two restaurants, I've visited, including this one, have perfected it. Staff were all friendly, polite, and, professional, but Noor, the waiter in particular went that extra mile with service and kindness. Service with a smile everytime. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gem of a restaurant. Lovely place with beautiful food. Perhaps a little on the pricier side, but that's no issue when the whole experience is fab. We came here for the first time last night and was not disappointed! We had high expectations as the previous restaurant was our go to Indian eatery. Little India was fantastic service and the food was lovely. A lot to offer on the drinks menu… would be better if you could take your own though!

Our 1st visit to this restaurant which is located on a large housing estate and as such was a bit difficult to find. Excellent Indian food with good portion sizes. Our group enjoyed the Tawa, Rajastani Lamb, Parsi Murgh & South Indian Lamb. Nice to see some different dishes and have freshly cooked food. Good friendly efficient service. Very good value at £107 for 4 people inc starters, some beer and soft drinks.

First time at this restaurant as we used to come to the previous restaurant called Kajal. We were not disappointed one bit, in fact it was exceptional. We chose the set menu, which was brilliant value for money, starter, main, rice or naan plus a side. The quality of the food was amazing, so much flavour and taste. I had the Chicken Rogan Josh and my husband had the Tandoori Mixed Balti, bang on the money spice wise; beautiful madras flavour. Great ambience, great service and would definitely recommend. Came here after my sister and her mates recommended this restaurant after it had a revamp with new owners she cudnt be more right the food was great freshly cooked the service was spot on staff were very attentive and the place was nicely decorated with a comfy ambience we all enjoyed it and will be coming back.

We have had a few take aways now from Little India and have not been disappointed. They had a big act to follow and are fairing very well. The chicken tikka they do is excellent. Food is really fresh and well cooked. Loved the pillar rice too btw. Had a delivery and came a bit later than estimated but worth the wait. Keep up the good work.

What a great team are working at Little India-Walsall. The staff were very helpful and offered great service. It was our first time visiting last night, at this local, recently opened restaurant. My wife and I both agreed, the food was absolutely first class. We both enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience of the beautifully decorated dining rooms that gave it a really authentic feeling. We will certainly be visiting again soon.

Very bad service, waiting staff looks lost or maybe drunk. Ordered daal makhani and they served daal tarka with red colour 😡 . When we asked for bill, bar man asked us what we had to drink 😂😂. Ignore, I'll never go again.

We went on a Wednesday night last minute, and we had the best welcome! The service from all staff was incredible, drinks were fast and things were cleared without even being noticed. The friendliness and knowledge of the staff on dishes to advise us was the best! The food was incredible.. I’m still thinking about it days later and have told my partner we’re going back next week for more. A hidden gem that needs to be heard about and heaving every night. Can’t wait to go again! Great evening with some truly great food. The atmosphere is relaxed but plenty of staff to help and cater for all needs. The staff are very friendly and make the evening enjoyable. There was 6 of us and we all chose different meals but everyone was really pleased and said how tasty the food was. Well done Little India, will definitely be making a return visit!

Well so many teething issues. Given pepper twice instead of salt, asked 3 times for mint sauce, waiters all really stressy. Need to not pass this on to the customer. Food was good but arrived without the rice so had to wait for that. not on my return list!

I had heard it had recently changed hands and well it was tip top , fantastic service , fresh flavoursome food , bright and the curry’s were awesome .

Went to opening night last night and watched the show. Good night out. Will definitely go again. Food was spot on. I had the popadoms with pickles tray. Loved their spicy onion relish thing. Onion Bhaji, tarka dhal and lamb karahi with Garlic Naan. Lamb Karahi was especially good :)

Overall a fantastic evening, a great atmosphere in little India’s new restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I Would highly recommend. I Will be returning in the future. 10/10 thank you!
