Magnificent experience as always. SILVIO puts you at ease. The food is great and you can also watch your favorite team play. There is always a different dish of the day. Always kind and helpful.

A hidden gem and locals favourite. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere with welcoming staff. Homemade tortellini with spinach and ricotta cheese - tortellinis are huge, with creamy butter and sage sauce. Mezzalune della casa - the mushroom sauce is rich in flavour and complements the whole dish. Cotoletta alla Bolognese - a traditional Italian dish. The chicken cutlet is coated and fried to the perfect texture but still tender inside, topped up a creamy sauce.

Ordered the specials and it was so tasty, fresh and filling. One of the best calamari I have tasted in the UK. It wasn't oily, the batter was tasty and you could actually taste the squid. Highly recommend.

Came in tonight on a date with my boyfriend (we were unsure of where to eat and tried here for the first time), the staff are super friendly and welcoming! (They made the experience super enjoyable!!) the food was fantastic too, I had the spaghetti poplette and my boyfriend had a calzone and we shared some calamari!! The food is decently priced and I will definitely be coming here again :) thank you very much! There is a young girl that works there, I’m not sure of her name but she was absolutely lovely too!

I'm not sure I want to let people know how lovely this place was because it's such a lovely place I would keep it for myself. To start with this place doesn't look like much from the outside, but after multiple trips to Italy this has to be the best I've had since being there it feels like you are stepping into a restaurant in Naples. The staff were great, we had 2 small children with us and they were great with children. The food was the most reasonably priced I've seen for a while and the food it's self is exceptional. We will be back very soon.

What a hidden Gem! I must have drove past this place a 1000 times, recommended by a friend and was not disappointed, as authentic an Italian restaurant I've been to in the UK. A lovely welcome by owner upon arrival, super casual and laid back atmosphere. Great friendly service, food was absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best Tiramisu I've ever had. Will definitely be returning.

It's "authentic" Italian but make pizza like Domino's.

Honestly can’t emphasise how amazing this restaurant is! 10/10 would recommend visiting, everything from the food, environment and the staff was amazing. Raffaele, the Chef, was so hospitable and welcoming and made us some really incredible and authentic Italian food. The service was just so incredible! Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. It’s such a hidden gem! Wishing the restaurant continuous success and prosperity in the future, will definitely be revisiting! Super authentic, I tell everyone about this place

Hidden gem in a very unusual place. Had lunch there out of curiousity but ended up as our fave resto near our place. Food was made fresh, staff were all italian. Price was reasonable too! Had takeaway the week after and food was well packaged. Definitely a must try!

Sobresaliente por todas partes. Muy buena comida italiana auténtica. La salchicha casera (cerdo e hinojo) como especial en un risotto con brócoli era impresionante. Realmente gran variedad en el menú mejorado por especiales. Muy buena carta de vinos y todo a excelentes precios. Dos platos con porciones generosas y una copa (grande) de vino tinto decente por poco más de £ 25. El servicio era peculiar y fabuloso y sin duda volveré. Mejor relación calidad-precio comida que he tenido en Brum. Si quieres pagar por una cadena resbaladiza pero ‘estándar’ esto es. O para ti. Si quieres el ambiente de café con cocina italiana rústica adecuada, este es el lugar para usted. Una pequeña joya y vale la pena ir dondequiera que te alojes. Mucho mejor que las otras ofertas en el centro de la ciudad.

Popped in for a takeaway on our way home from cinema. We had a garlic bread, a pasta dish and a tiramisu. All dishes were plentiful and tasty. The waitress was so lovely too. We will be back to dine in soon

We had looked online to find somewhere for dinner before travelling back to arena and avoiding the hell of broad street. We were not disappointed and I cannot recommend enough to visit Gustami. Service was excellent (we were rushing after a traffic delay) and the staff took the right time to explain the dishes but didn’t go overboard. Food was phenomenal quality with lots of homemade recipes and the sharing bread perfect. Pricing was unbelievable and for what we got would have been 2x price in other locations for probably poorer food & service. Just brilliant and recommended to everyone

The most stunning meal with the best service! We had calamari for starters, carbonara and spaghetti and meatballs for mains with cheesy garlic bread on the side. It was hard to choose on the menu because everything sounded delicious!

Gustamis is a hidden gem in Birmingham. They’ve now opened up an outdoor area and it’s the most perfect restaurant! Authentic Italian good, great service and atmosphere.

The restaurant itself is fabulous and the food was very very nice as were the staff. But what gives this place extra points is that it's in the least likely place you'd expect to find fine dining. So not only was it brilliant but it was a nice shock too

What a fabulous restaurant! It's definitely worth seeking out if you are in or near the area. The food is amazing & authentic, and it is very reasonably priced too. We had the vegetable platter for 2 from the Antipasti section, it was £20 but my goodness it was absolutely massive, you could share it as a whole meal for 2! We then had the Mezzaluna Funghi from the specials menu and the Parmigiana from the Secundi section and both were absolutely phenomenal and around £11 each. Our friend had the Homemade spinach & ricotta Tortellini with butter & sage sauce and would highly recommend that also. You can't beat homemade pasta! The wine was nice and very reasonably priced at £20 a bottle for wine and £25 for prosecco. The service was excellent, very relaxed and friendly. And with the weather at the moment being very warm we could almost believe we were in a cafe in Italy! Overall we were super impressed with this hidden gem of an Italian cafe, and would definitely go back!

Great experience, food made at the moment and super homemade, with lots of flavor. Excellent service, thanks to the lady who served us, and the cook came to ask us if the food was good. Desserts also include Italian casseroles and tipucas, turamisu and pannacota. The tiramisu is top!!! It's worth the walk outside the city center.

Received a few recommendations for this restaurant so booked in for early Saturday evening. It felt very authenticly Italian and was already busy with diners. My only criticism is that it isn't in the greatest of areas and parking was difficult. However the food and service was fantastic, and the best Italian I've eaten in the UK. There was a good choice of food and a large specials board. The tiramisu was exceptional! Will definitely be returning and supporting this great independent restaurant!

We were recommended by a friend and the place did not disappoint. It's a simple place that makes you feel like you're in Italy when you walk in. The food is very tasty, it was a great experience. We ordered a risotto, pizza and pasta and all were excellent. We will definitely be back soon.

Every now and then you come across a true hidden gem. We're not from Birmingham but were there for an event at the Utilita Arena. We originally tried to book Zizzi, Pizza Express etc. but they were all full on short notice, so I found Ristorante Caffe Gustami on Google Maps and was able to book a table online. The owner, Raffaele, even sent me a personal text message to confirm our booking which was a nice touch. The food was superb - we had the sharing pizza dough starter plus a couple of specials to start, then pizza and pasta for our main course, and coffee and ice cream for desserts. We also had beer and wine, so for the bill to come out at under £100 for the four of us was incredible value. The staff are super friendly and there's a nice atmosphere with some Italian music on and plenty of people came in without it ever getting too packed out. If you're going to the Utilita Arena for an event, this is only about a 10 minute walk away and is a great spot for some pre-gig food and drink!

We ate an amazing pizza while our clothes dried next door at the fabulous Pablo's Laundry. Delicious food and wonderful, friendly atmosphere.

I'm really happy to have found this wonderful place. It's a fairly short walk from the canal, ICC etc. Wonderful to be able to eat delicious home made authentic Italian food just a stones throw from the plethora of chain restaurants. We were craving Italian and found this little place in Birmingham and menu looked authentic. We checked it out and the small restaurant had the best vibes, super authentic, all the workers were Italian, and the specials sounded and tasted amazing. We got an appetizer, two pastas, tiramisu and a bottle of wine and digestive and were impressed with it all! The food was amazing!!! Super wholesome vibes and would definitely come back. Thank you!

Cute little Italian restaurant with amazing food. The chef and staff are friendly and warm! Great place to eat. There are a few free parking spots just outside but if you're going after 7.30 pm, the streets have free parking. If you can't enter the clean air zone, then you can park for up to 3 hours at the big springhill tesco across the roundabout and walk over!

Absolutely brilliant Italian restaurant on the outer edge of the city centre. The staff make you feel so welcome and the food is fresh and delicious. We came as a group of nine for a birthday and had the best evening. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, she explained the specials (which are definitely worth having) and took care of us all evening. I don't think I've had food this good for such good value. Definitely recommend to anyone in Birmingham or beyond!

An amazing experience! It’s a short walk outside the main Birmingham City Centre but the atmosphere inside makes it well worth it. I went there for my birthday and despite calling several times to let them know I would be arriving late, they were nothing but accommodating. We arrived with a large group of people and they took a considerable amount of time to talk us through the chef's specials and even kindly helped with our Italian pronunciations. As if everything they had done so far wasn't enough, they even stayed open well past their closing time to provide us some delicious dessert. Amazing food, amazing prices and an even more amazing staff!!!

An Italian run hidden gem on the outskirts of Birmingham City centre. I have been frequenting Gustami's for the past 6 years, and I can't say enough good things about it! The home cooked Italian food is absolutely amazing. My favourites are the homemade spinach and ricotta tortellini in sage butter, the blue cheese gnocchi the bruscetta pomadoro. They have a good menu of starters, salads, pastas, pizzas and meat dishes, and also offer around 6 chefs specials that change on a regular basis. They have a good range of wines to compliment your meal and a decent house red. The service is great and the staff are very friendly and often the chef will come to your table to ask if you enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is welcoming and non pretentious. The restaurant is also great value for money. If you are a fan of good Italian food in a relaxed environment, then I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We stopped by Ristorante Caffe Gustami for a quick lunch yesterday, on our way home from the jewellery quarter. It’s quite a distance for us and we tend to save our visit is here for special occasions, we hadn’t been for about 9 months. If it was closer, we would eat here every month as a treat! Two of us had parmigiana, it was clearly homemade and a taste sensation. The other two had options from the specials menu, one had a homemade sausage swirl with little roast potatoes and my husband had a penne pasta dish with saffron and courgettes-bother were absolutely delicious. Sadly, we didn’t have room for a desert after our fabulous main courses, however they all sound delicious! The ownership of the restaurant has changed ( the new owner actually used to work here), however the food is still exceptional and good value too. Looking forward to our new visit very soon.

We went there last night (party of 4) after a canal walk and had such a lovely evening. The staff were very warm, welcoming and attentive. The food was lovely and excellent value for money. Shame it’s not local to us as we would definitely make this a regular stop.
