Reserved table for 12 of us ..3 of children have adhd was told 45 minutes wait for food ..husband steak was not rare which he asked for, food was basic ..staff need some more people skills also no chicken nuggets which the kids love..won't be going again ..

Lovely cozy place to eat and drink. Ate here often. Never been disappointed.great prices.great selection. Can not fault the place. Keep up the good work.

Visited since the refurb was completed. The place looks so much more inviting and open inside, always greeted with a warm welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble. Love coming here and will do for years to come

Went for breakfast a group of 8 people. Found a table ordered drinks started to look at the menu to order food. We were asked to vacate the tables as a party had booked for a meal at 12.30. There was no reserved notices on these tables We moved and found somewhere else to sit. We had our food and and again asked to leave this table, the reason given the party who booked the previous “reserved “table had arrived and the table they’d been allocated was too small. The Moorland had too few staff working and the way they treated ourselves was contemptible needless to say we won’t be going back 😡

Came at the weekend it was really busy but the food was still amazing and piping hot. Staff really friendly and attentive we will be back.

Lovely place to visit for a family meal. Affordable, great atmosphere and friendly staff, will be visiting again soon.

We use the Moorland Inn regularly as it's close by. The food is always great value for money and the drinks are reasonably priced too! The staff are chatty and friendly and nothing is too much trouble!! I had the mixed grill yesterday, My mum had the chicken tikka skewers, my son a burger and dessert too. It was hot, fresh and delicious. Thank you to all at the moorland for a lovely evening!

Undoubtedly the worst place I have ever been to. Not sure where to start but I urge anyone not to go here. Tables dirty and sticky , menus dried beer and sauce in them. Food cold, undercooked and bland. Waitress - well I’m not fussy but I’m sure a requirement should be that they wear clean clothes - our waitress had a dirty stained tshirt on and an apron that was heavily stained. She served our food using her tshirt as a tea towel - unbelievable!!! Don’t complain as the waitress was rude, aggressive and nasty. She was a large female ( can’t use the term lady ) and quite frankly intimidating. Avoid at all costs
