Used before. Lovely Sunday Dinners

The staff at this place either need retraining or replacing. So glad i did not order 'extras' this time as they are never delivered. There were no yorkshire puddings with this order which SHOULD come as standard????? Can not fault the delivery at all

Just Eat didn’t provide a driver for over 2 hours. This isn’t the restaurants fault. Shame really as the food was freezing cold.

Standard pub experience, food ok, carvery looked nice but had steak.... wasn't great but again ok..... beer tasted flat and a bit like soap also over priced at £6.10 a pint....

Buffet Breakfast was lovely today with the service from the staff.

The premises had a gloomy and outdated appearance, clearly in need of a modern touch. The pub itself was uncomfortably cold, forcing me to keep my coat on throughout my visit, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy my time there. I opted for the carvery, but when the food arrived at my table, it was cold and not heated to a normal temperature, making the meal unpleasant and unenjoyable. Overall, I was relieved to leave and have no plans to return anytime soon.

They ran out of beef and ham! And only had little turkey left! No one informed us or the rest of the people in the queue? We should've been told this whilst paying for the meal at the till. Also the dirty plates were left on the table for ages whilst we had a 2 and drink.

No staff and pub was cold also carvery was cold,stood at the bar twenty minutes waiting ,one of our party ordered large carvery but only had 1 Yorkie and no extra meat, veg was empty and this was 7 pm, asked for pudding and was told no cheese cake no sundae so didn't have one

ok so my food took an hour and 25 mins to come but I didn't mind so much because I could tell most of the food was fresh and not just from the dinning area. The roasts were amazing best I've had yet from here, veg was all ok I got 2 yorkies today wrapped separately which I appreciated. maybe due to not getting 1 last time if so thankyou. still not cauliflower cheese on though guys a little sad about that as I love it. I'd be happy to have no other potatoes on just veg. gravy tub full too today.

Food was beautiful. However the only issue is I do wish u would give bigger pots for the gravy as there is never enough. Just slightly bigger pots otherwise thoroughly enjoyed.

We came for a breakfast today and were served by Rachel who was really welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was really nice. We will come back again

Just about the worst experience we've had anywhere! Short staffed and yet you could only be there with a booking as it was Boxing Day. We had to wait and wait for everything. They got us mixed up with another family and so my husband had nothing to eat at all. It became so bad that we had to joke about it. We had to pay for food that wasn't great and then we were told that the 'wrong' order was our mistake but he couldn't tell us our name!! We won't be visiting there again.

The staff were brilliant and helpful.. but for me the gammon was too fatty and the beef was too chewy. Also I felt the pigs in blankets were under cooked. There was 5 in our group and we were all under impressed. Shame as we were all looking forward to it.

Came for lunch with my friend and it was great! The service was fab and fast from Chelsea. Our food came really quickly. We had the hunters chicken burger and the veggie Bean burger and they were both lovely.

Seemingly purpose-built carvery type restaurant/pub. Not a great deal of atmosphere as a result but a pleasant enough place to eat and the food pretty much of the quality you might expect. Very cheap carvery (sub £10) during the week with no queue at all. Friendly staff and good service.

I visit brindley farm regularly for a carvery, and most times I’ve been Joe has served me, lovely service from him, and the guys on the carvery are always brilliant :)

Chloe who served us was amazing, so friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, we had a mix of carvery and main menu. Will definitely return

Very pleasant staff and lovely food

Stopped in spontaneously for something to eat and the host found us a table despite the restaurant being busy and us being a party of six. The food was hot, fresh, and far better quality than the last time we came a while ago. I believe the change in staff has massively improved the whole establishment. Very happy and would return.

We had the carvery which was great but the cutlery supplied in a jar on the table was disgusting, it was absolutely filthy! Normally we would just use napkins to wipe any marks off them but they we're the worst that I had ever seen so we gave them back and asked for a clean set. We were sat at a table with no-one else around us which was great then halfway through our meal the staff sat a couple of the table next to us & as they we're on the large size it meant that we could not move our chairs back to get out to use any other facilities ect. The restaurant was nowhere near full and there was plenty of space to sit the people away from us so that we could come and go as we pleased. My 90 year old Father had to keep getting up out of his chair so that I could get out from our table which was not easy for him. This made our dining experience a very difficult one. If the restaurant was busy then we would have understood but it wasn't.

Food arrived missing a steak sauce, wasn't too fussed but then come to realize my food is freezing cold (A jacket potato has to sit before it goes cold so my hope for the rest of the meal was dwindling rapidly). Mushrooms out of a tin and never been close to anything fresh in its existence. After asking the staff to rectify the problem of a cold meal, I was promptly brought back the exact same meal minus the jacket potato. Meaning an overcooked steak, near on black onion rings and somehow the tinned swamp mushrooms were still cold?! Absolutely abismal.

Absolutely disgusted with the service had to wait 2 hrs. No sweet for the children. Had to queue ages to get a drink.

The food was great the service was great the manager was a really nice guy . The only problem we had to wait for our food which we expected but it was a lot longer than we thought we had a 3 year old with us who wasn't very happy when her ice-cream took ages to be delivered. But all said and done the staff tried there best the manger was amazing well done to him xx

Had a carvery at 6 30pm we got one & a half slices of turkey most of the veg was empty or looked like it had been there allday! Had to ask for most things really not great usually go for Xmas but won't be goung this year!!

Today visited Brinley Farm took 45 minutes.to receive after 15 minutes wait at the bar My meal fish chips - fish ok peas and chips cold Daughters - Lausgue burt and cold, chips cold with lettuce and large slices of onion, garlic bread ok Place looked old and tied and cold Ps is this a remake for high tails in the future 🤔 or closed down for flats Child's meal to hot for him to eat T

I ordered 2 carvery. only 1 was delivered.

Booked for breakfast with santa 15th December. So first we had a long wait to be taken to our table then to be taken and the table was dirty and not even laid with crackers! When the waitress did dress the table my daughter and her friend which are 3 years old pulled their crackers to which my daughter got a bottle opener! Surely I would of thought you would look at what crackers you were buying to give to children. Then I was not shown where to get tea coffee etc I had to go to the bar and ask the gentleman behind the bar to which he was very helpful. Them onto to the breakfast there was no eggs no sausage we had to wait ten mins for a member of staff to come behinde the buffet counter to then ask for more, now our table was booked for 10.30 I appreciate this is late but why take bookings and take deposit if you cannot really cater for it.. there was nowhere near enough staff on alot of table were dirty only one staff member behinde the bar! Ridiculous and WILL NOT be returning!

Usually we enjoy coming but today Service was poor and food wasn't up to standard. My partner became upset and she complained. The assistant manager came over, had a chat and to be fair, we were fully compensated and he couldn't have been more understanding and apologetic. We will go again, it was just a hiccup. Big shout out to Nathaniel who really went out of his way to make things better. Very grateful and we will return x

Shown to the table no clear information or instruction on what to do for the Breakfast with Santa. Went to Bar to order and pay, it took 15 mins due to only 1 member of staff on the bar, served 2 orange juices for kids in cracked glasses. Went to get coffee (which was cold)this was positioned in an awkward placed restricting the public walking past with drinks, and trying to get to the tables due to being too closed to the food line queue. We then queued at serving area for 15 mins before given a plate to put food on, plates were either dirty damaged or cracked with some had enamel wear.. Food was cold, bacon undercooked, scrambled eggs going grey due to being over cooked in a microwave not appealing at all. Santa gift was a book but they could have been boys and girls books instead of the same for all. My grandkids did comment (ages 6 and 8) "that isn't Santa" as they could see his dark beard under the white one he was wearing. When we left, the place was heaving like a cattle market and people pushing past one another, not a very good experience.

I came here at about 4:45 on the 16th December. It wasn’t particularly busy and I got seated near the bar. I waited for about 45 min and left as I wasn’t even given a menu. A couple of waiters passed by and ignored me and one of the servers preferred to clean all the empty tables near me. I’ve never felt so ignored in any establishment. I don’t know if it’s because I came in alone/I’m a woman/I’m “ethnic”. There were others who were getting served I got tired of it and went to McDonald’s

Same experience every time I go in, they leave you standing for ages by the door waiting for someone to come to you, they never have enough bar staff, only one person serving, and foods always cold.

Never turned up, Restaurant never got in touch, when I eventually got through to them, they said I could collect or ask just eat for a refund. Looks like I have lost my money. Shocking service all round. Won't be using either again

Been to visit here for breakfast with Santa this morning and was very disappointed. The food was not hot and most of the food was hard. No one was manning the serving area. Santa and elf were disappointing. The coffee was horrible and had no hot water for tea. Massive waste of money. Disappointing and was gutting for my children.

This is the most shocking place I have been the service the food is substandard staff not bothered at all I never write reviews but on this occasion I feel the need to I will never go to this place again being a chef myself veg overcooked and barely warm the meat was exceptable we booked this months for Christmas party no table was set just reserved sign on asked for some drinking water at the bar staff never bothered it was shocking I not one for complaining but this was the worst place I have ever been to treat customers like this is totally unacceptable

We attended on Friday 20th for breakfast with work.There was 5 of us and we were looking forward to a buffet breakfast. When we arrived there was no one to greet us,eventually we were told to just find a table,we did find a table which had been partially cleared,we actually ended up cleaning the table ourselves with the cleaning stuff that had been left on the table.After working out we had to go to the bar to purchase our ticket we went on to the disappointment of the breakfast buffet.Firstly the plate I was given looked like it had been used a thousand times previously!! There was a table with tea and coffee and two bread baskets,no toast facilities at all. The buffet on offer was plenty of bacon, a few sausages,no fried eggs,no beans,no scrambled eggs,no black pudding,tomatoes mushrooms and dry hash browns were available along with dry crusty Yorkshire puddings. We were booked in at 10-30 so I would have thought there should have been plenty of food available. It was obvious there wasn’t enough staff on to cope,in my opinion it wasn’t even that busy in the pub. I was looking forward to a Christmas breakfast with my work mates and left feeling disappointed at the quality and lack of breakfast on offer. I certainly wouldn’t recommend going back due to the lack of service,breakfast selection and value for money.Terrible.

Not the cleanest of places and very slow to take your order. Only one person serving behind the bar. It wasn’t that busy either . We went on a Saturday lunchtime. They do carvery and menu . There is a soft play area for little ones . They do offers on food . You can get 15% discount with a blue light app not just go in with the card. The staff were friendly. The food was ok . No soap in the toilets . Car park is free but you can only have 3 hours on there max . Reasonable price . Went for takeaway cake but only had Carrot cake nothing else . What’s the point for having a display if you can’t buy them ! Disappointed.

always cold,have to pop it in the microwave, always usually loads, far to much stuffing on, loaded with potatoes, id prefer more vegetables myself,meat cooked beautifully,not enough gravy, only half a tub today sadly, today no Yorkshire pudding it was missing, the veg is always cooked beautifully. no cauliflower cheese today also missing 😪 delivery drivers are always very polite.

Not impressed, rude staff, delivered my cider in the bottle an was told there was no glssses but after saying I wanted a glass with ice the waitress tutted and went to fetch a glass with ice, carvery meal was mediocre but there was only a choice of 2 desserts as they were sold out of everything else so didn’t bother Will never go again and will advise others not to bother

If I could give this zero stars then I would!! 1 is too much for the experience we had!! If you haven't booked yet and are considering coming here, trust me when I say, save your money and don't bother!!! We came today as a party of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) for breaskfast with santa and I our experience was absolutely diabolical!!! We were shown to our tables and that was it, customer service was atrocious!! No one explained to us what we were meant to do regarding santa! And if I'm brutally honest, it was the worst santa we've ever seen! His beard was on back to front and he sat there for the whole time on his mobile phone!! No interaction with the children whatsoever. Apart from just passing them a present and sticker! Now time for the food..... No self serve juice, only 1 small complimentary glass per child, no refills!!! If an adult wants juice, then that comes at an extra charge! No variety with the tea or coffee!! No cereals or extras such as crumpets pancakes etc!! Rude, miserable staff behind the hot counter! And the food, well put it this way, we ALL came out still feeling hungry!! It was stale and inedible!! Extremely disappointed! I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy!! £70 it cost us, plus the cost of an extra juice! 🙄 and it was like throwing money down the drain!! Save your money guys and head over to Brewers Fayre instead!! 100% recommend going there instead! For a fresh, flavoursome, varied breakfast!

Ordered twice from here now, and both times they’ve messed up our orders. First time, they just didn’t send one of the meals at all. This time, they’ve completely missed the sides we’ve ordered.

the added extra items were missing from the order and the food arrived cold, this is the second time this has happened from here, tried to contact the restaurant but they wouldn't answer, complete waste of money.

We took our niece here for her 21st birthday. We got there as we had pre-booked and someone had taken our table so we had to wait till the lady had cleaned another table for us. She said she was very sorry we ordered our meals and the meals were all okay. She brought her birthday day cake out and brought us plate so as we could have a piece there and then, and the children wanted an ice cream so they went to order which took them a good 20 minutes then we had to wait another 40 minutes for this ice cream to come out we went and asked and they told us it would be 20 minutes for puddings so we sat and waited then in the end I decided to ask for the manager and told him that we’d waited over half our more for two ice creams which is ridiculous but we did notice that there wasn’t enough staff on dutyto cope with all the people coming in and out in the end they brought the ice creams and we left with ice cream in toe the other than that like I said the food was good just poor Service for such a big place they need more staff especially this time of year as they were queueing up outside waiting to get a table

We came for a Christmas team meal and had the festive menu. We were seated as soon as we arrived and had great food and speedy service for the most part. Had to chase up a side with the carvery but it had got busier since the party got there. Fabulous food, great location and always friendly staff and low prices!

Really nice pub, good selection of drinks, good choice of food and it has a carvery, the fact that it gets busy is a form of recommendation too. If you are staying in the area give it a try.

Absolutely disgusting food I waited a hour for a chicken ticka meal for it to turn up cold 🤮we’ve been to this pub before for a birthday meal and swore we’d never go again but thought we’d give it the benefit of the doubt but can honestly say I’d rather go to McDonalds than this place 🤮

Came for my daughter’s 9th birthday family meal the food was divine all served hot and well presented. I had a carvery served by Ryleigh he was incredibly friendly and set a lovely serving atmosphere fiery polite and engaged with us. My roast beef carvery was. The best I’ve had in a while and I must say every carvery I’ve had at Brindley farm has been perfect. We brought our own cake which wasn’t an issue for another collegie to bring us additional plates and cutlery. Would highly recommend for a special family get together or just a tasty meal

Good food, nice atmosphere for breakfast- fairly quiet if you go at 9am on a Sunday but gets busier closer to 10am

It was my Father in Law’s birthday (91!) , he chose the Sunday roast & he really enjoyed it which was good because he can be fussy . My husband had the roast too . I ordered pie & chips , it was very tasty . We will definitely visit again .

We had the Carvery. The food was lovely. All fresh and plenty of it. The place is clean. Staff quite pleasant. I booked for 12 people and 2 for my husband’s support workers. Close to the door so my husband wouldn’t have to walk too far. We were accommodated perfectly. My only small complaint is that the table wasn’t cleared after our meal. We had to ask for it to be cleared so we could have desert.

Visiting from Jersey and fancied a carvery. Five of us decided to go to Brindley Farm on 26th November. The food was beautiful and the best carvery I have had in a very long time. Radek the chef served us and was polite, professional and was happy to chat; he is such a lovely person. Rachel who served our drinks was just as lovely. It made a return to Stoke that much more pleasant and when I’m back in December, I shall be visiting again. Thank you Radek and Rachel 🤍👏🏼

Sunday again to be told running late carvery not ready till 12.its advertised at 1130.gone back same as it was .won't be wasting my time again and will stick to toby carvery who at least have carvery ready at 1130!!!!

Me & my friend had a carvery yesterday hot happy with the veg I feel as though you just dunk it in the hot water cause they are to hard and not cooked very disappointing after the last couple of visits 😔 hope this can be changed
