Costa Coffee in Stoke-on-Trent

The customer service was perfecte. We are visitors so we didin't know how to call a taxi. And they called it for us!

Sadly full of staff with an attitude who are rude and have no proper customer care training.

Disappointing. I made a visit nearly 3 weeks ago and the dishwasher was broken. It was paper cups only and food given in bags takeaway style. I've popped in again today and the dishwasher is still broken, also no pastries available because the bakery oven is also broken. The staff working there have reported both items, but nothing has happened apparently. It's beyond ridiculous. Better going to the nearby Costa above the Next store. Always lovely and always efficient.

We use this coffee shop a lot but won’t be going back again after today’s experience. We ordered two lattes to go at the drive through As you can see from the photo a good 1/4 of the cup was froth and had we not been going back to work we would have returned it for a refund. Adding insult to injury they had no bread for toast on either Saturday or Sunday morning, have limited cakes or none. Apparently this is a fault of the supplier who doesn’t deliver when an order is put through. I find this very hard to believe! Either change your supplier or the person who does the ordering

Drive through - Disappointed to get my latte with very little milk and therefore very hot. So hot in fact that it blistered the roof of my mouth. Are you trying to save money ? What is the logic behind serving a drink that hot ?!!

shocking yet again for the second time, I have certain requirements with milk. but they didn't do that, I have costa everyday & I know the difference in the milk

What a joke. The coffee wasn’t even warm. The frappe was melted and the ham and cheese toastie could’ve knocked out next doors windows with how hard it was. No point contacting just eat as they are just as bad as the product that I received. I will not be returning.

Took an hour to arrive, food was stone cold and squished. The frappe that I ordered was missing.

Normally love going here but not again, I ordered 3 large Mocha and a large hot chocolate , they weren't mocha it tasted like an Americano one cup was only half full ,honesty it made me feel sick Defiantly not worth the £18 I paid

In the end, on his recommendation, I ordered the Maple Hazle Hot Chocolate and Maple Cake. I'm not kidding, they were really delicious. So thank you Adrian. Looking forward to seeing what they bring out for winter/Christmas.

I was there in the afternoon. We found everything perfect and sounds. The team DYLAN, GIO, LUCY and SHAUNA were superb,they make us feel warm welcome .There was a good team effort. Close to highway easy quick and always good coffee

Quick delivery and the order was spot on. Delicious as always.

Arrived at the store at 19:50. Doors were closed and the drive through shut. The closing times on the door say 8pm.

Cheese/bean toastie was flat and devoid of fillings. Everything else fine

Dylan is a very helpful young man and he has a very nice voice, very recommend in the job that he does.

Management have walked out and a load of new trainee staff with no training making drinks cold or no syrup shocking at cost of £5.25

Out coffee in my frappe when I didn’t ask for it, and I can’t have coffee! In the bin it goes.. cake was nice though

Waited for food for over an hour after coming home from a night shift and the main meal didn’t even arrive I just had a drink and a waffle it’s ridiculous I could have made my own food if I’d have known. You should blur items out if you don’t have them or remove them from the menu. Waste of time driver didn’t stop either when I tried to alert him

Coffee and bap were hot, but cake was stale

Expected quicker service and hot chocolate just about warm, my friend took them back and was told to ask for extra hot next time

I am furious. The WHOLE order is wrong. Not one single item. I submitted a refund request when I saw there was no cream but now I have looked into the bag and it’s completely the wrong order!!!!!

This is the Second time today I have ordered from here and it’s been wrong!!!! Furious isn’t the word because I now have been inconvenienced twice in the same day!!! First time they give me the completely wrong order so it goes in the bin. Waste of money. Refunded for only one item! Second time, they miss out 5 items!!!!!!! Absolutely useless and completely inept.

The most half arsed frappe ever. I get the vegan cream not the actual thick Costa whipped cream . I get a splodge of chocolate sauce! Not the actual chocolate bits.

Unable to comment on the quality of food as it has not yet arrived. The order update was on 'driver at restaurant' for an hour and it has just now been updated to 'delivered' however I have still not received my order.

Several times I've put 3 items in an order and only received 2. I don't understand how this keeps happening, probably done ordering from Costa online at this point.

Came in to buy coffee and the Staff were busy talking to eachother on the radios. Work should be fun but not at the expense of customers time waiting to pay for a product will definitely not go back to that particular store.

Ordered at 14:23 arrived at 16:09 all melted so is no longer a frappe and tastes like watered down milk. Not happy at all

They didn't deliver my order and customer service wasn't available they should be closed down indefinitely I don't know any other business where it's acceptable to steal money from people!

Walked to Longton Costa last night to pick up a takeaway coffee whilst exercising with friends. The hours on the door state that it was open until 9. At 8.30 the door was locked, and when we challenged this we were told it was only the drive thru that is open at this time. There is nothing online or on the door that states this. Come on Costa, either advertise your hours properly, or else deal with the staff that are locking up before time.

Didn't receive the breakfast wrap I ordered because it was out of stock but instead of substituting it for something else I was told sorry ring up for a refund... unacceptable.

We came at 18:46 on Sunday to buy some takeaway coffee. They said that they are closed and can’t let us in because of insurance reasons. But it says it works till 19:00 on the door

hi, couple of things, with frequenting Costa in the store numerous times, I have tasted the almond and raspberry bake. Its really soft and moist, but the one that was delivered was so rock hard I couldnt eat it, its like it was stale. The rest of the order was fine. The delivery driver went to my next door neighbour and they are getting annoyed ! so can the delivery app address house num be checked since the delivery driver was blaming the app.

It's a good place to go for a nice coffee ☕️ and chat with friends .

Myself and the hubby were pleased to see that the opening hours stated that the costa longton closed at 8pm. We popped in last min at 7:50pm on the way past to find that both the drive through lane and main store was closed. Very disappointed. Starbucks Wolstantion it is!!!

Visited Costa this week, we really enjoyed our lunch, great coffee and food, everywhere was lovely and clean and the staff were so lovely, Angela who served us was so helpful and had such a bubbly personality…..will definitely be going back for more!

Visited Costa for the first time in a long time, the coffee was superb. We were served by a lady named Angela and what a lovely pleasant lady she is. Made us feel really welcome. Would definitely return in the future

Staff seemed generally friendly but felt the service was pretty slow and our male server repeated saying "sweetheart" felt a little disingenuous and had a pretty patronising attitude at our request for a kitkat iced drink correcting us to its a chocolate brownie iced drink.. didn't even get one of the mini kit kats :( lol We liked the chicken and bacon toastie and the Mac n Cheese .. met the typical expected quality from any Costa. Overall ok but wouldn't go back.

Visited twice requested extra hot coffee and tea but served normal average service

They don t respect the timetable, I ve been there for a second time before 19:00pm, actually with 20min before the closing time on a Sunday and they told me that it s closed. Shame!!

This Costa at Longton is quite new, first time I've visited. Plenty of parking spaces with a couple of disabled bays right out front. There wasn't a massive menu but hey this is a coffee bar. Teas and other hot and cold beverages available alongside lovely cakes, toasties etc. Disabled toilets as well as 🚻. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be happy to go back

I can honestly say the Costa above Next in Longton is probably the most friendliest branch I've been to and can't do enough to accommodate you. I mainly do takeout coffees and they always make sure my coffees are secure not just in a cup holder but a carrier too.

Staff are friendly, cups of coffee are dear, the atmosphere is lovely unlike Macdonald's but you pay for what you get , although we didn't have anything to eat there's plenty to choose from

Ordered a Black Americano coffee. Was hoping for crema on the top, but coffee taste was still good.

First drink wasn't hot, second drink only two thirds full way to much froth.

Excellent Costa. Staff are lovely. Delicious drinks and food.

There were posters all over the shop advertising their new drink. When we ordered this we were told they didn't have any of the ingredients to make them yet but offered to make us a different drink however she didn't tell us this would cost us a lot more.

Never enough staff in costa! This one no exception. Tables not clean, full of dirty cups, plates etc I was in there for 15 minutes and the whole time the tap was running water in a jug! Waste of water, I wouldnt want to pay their water bill

I arranged to meet friends for a coffee and a catch up at 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon only to be told that they were shutting early at 4.30, no explanation was offered

Strange but it wasn’t open in the middle of the day for food or drinks unless you went through drive through. We like to sit in .

Emma and Mae - What a pair of staff! They were the most polite, jolly and all around most welcoming... they made the place feel to bright and inviting - the atmosphere was nothing I've ever felt before in any Costa or anything within this field of industry before. Not only that, they sang happy birthday to me today... it wasn't needed but my god was it amazing - they made me feel so involved by them being themselves - they are some characters absolutely hysterical the both of them! Quiet and good quality Definately make sure you are in the rewards program

The staff here are entirely oblivious to customers waiting, they are slow and miserable. Tables were dirty and cups needed to be collected. This was our first and last visit to this branch.

I love costa, but the staff at this particular branch are miserable been here a few times now ,it wouldn't hurt for them to smile,service is slow and sloppy

Manager very helpful when we found an elderly gentleman across the road fall ill. He couldn't b anymore helpful, brought chair, water and helped lift him to safety. We went in for a drink after the gentleman went in the ambulance the shop was clean and staff very polite

Nice little Costa inside Next in Longton. I had a lovely creamy latte which was excellent, and half an hour scenery watching. Become abit of a regular haunt for me now, but the coffee is so delicious, why not give it a try?

I had a lovely salted caramel frappe made by a tall ginger girl, I think her name was Bryoni. She was so polite and welcoming😁
