The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

In a good location. This cafe is OK for a quick cup of coffee and a simple bite to eat nothing more. Very average but it does have outside seating which is the only bonus.

Visited today, third time since December and want to say what an enjoyable experience it was. Coffee, cold drinks and food well presented and enjoyable. The best thing about this place are the staff. They are efficient and timely with the drinks but are also so friendly and welcoming; it almost doesn’t feel like a Costa but a friendly local coffee shop. Thanks all.

Appalling service. Grubby surroundings. Sheer incompetence - can’t make tea for toffee. Stale croissant. Sullen and surly staff. Not the sort of customer service you expect from such an establishment.

My fav part is when they didn't take my name, and then gave me the wrong order. It was a really nice end to my long busy day.

A great place with friendly helpful staff , who are always super busy , so wait is sometimes required. I never mind as people can only do one thing at a time , and the surroundings are pleasant.Go with a serene attitude and empathy for your fellow man (or woman) who is working flat out for you , and then enjoy your delicious coffee.

Went this morning for breakfast. Literally got our food straight away, you might think this is good, but how long had it been siting there? It was barely warm, so the hot store is obviously not doing it’s job. Food would be better served on a hot plate too. I’d nearly finished my breakfast before my toast arrived. I like to eat it with my my breakfast. If I’d waited though my food would have been stone cold. I did let Morrisons staff know the food was not hot enough. Let’s hope they can improve this.

I came to Morrisons Basingstoke to buy fresh tilapia from their fish section and decided to pick up one the their cake shop doughnuts. I choose the raspberry flavour but lo and behold when l got home only one doughnut had not enough raspberry jam in it. I opened the second doughnut to find there was no jam in that one which prompted me to open the rest of the doughnut only to find those were empty too. Please Morrisons do not cheat people and sell products that doesn’t correspond to the description. Very disappointed and won’t buy doughnuts from there again as this is the second time it’s happened to that’s why lm prompted to write this review.

Bought two tuna melt paninis. Watched as they put as many items into the oven as possible. Used the same tongs to handle meat and vegetable products. Due to overloading the oven my panini was cold in the middle and my husband was accidentally given a ham and cheese when he's pescatarian for a reason. Took time to ask your name, but called out drinks by describing each one once they were made. Why bother taking names? All the food was replaced, but you shouldn't have to tell people how to do their job. It should be basic food hygiene and allergy awareness with no excuses.

If you’re polite everyone’s polite, I was just double checking my change had a coffee shop and saw 33 bad reviews and remembered I’d been here several times, never experienced the appalling service and coffee people complain about, it’s a train station coffee it’s not that deep and and not an insane price it’s a heaven send on a bad day when your train drive past you just enjoy it please chill and respect people that serve you. Many of the reviews for this Costa mention the drive thru. Ignore them, they are reviewing the wrong Costa Coffee. This one is the Costa Coffee inside the Showcase Cinema complex on Loddon Bridge Road and the experience is usually very good. Service is good, and the environment is pleasant given that it is in a cinema foyer. The reviews mentioning overworked staff and poor drive thru service are reviewing the Costa Coffe that is on the other side of the roundabout next to the Premier Inn. I concur with the reviews that the service at this branch is not good due to the extremely high volume of customers. Some (but not all) staff can be abrupt and a little rude mainly becuase of the extreme stress they are under. But visiting this Costa Coffee inside the Showcase Cinema is a much more pleasant experience.

Food was fantastic staff happy most had a smile kitchen staff the same waited only 7 mins for mains food and was busy in restaurant, think a new restaurant Manager had started as we asked who he was and got told he started end of December which is good to hear but maybe he needs to actually work rather then standing around hands behind his back, one girl did comment he spends most of the days in kitchen but his a restaurant manager so be where u should be and kitchen has been doing fantastic before he came, I've been coming here for many a year and food has improved so much in the last months with the new kitchen Manager who is lovely bubbly her food is always on the button, but must say new Manager do some work not just move things around or stand watching what an easy job you have, garden centre is laid out well but some plants did look dead

It beats me why such a beautiful garden has such a TERRIBLE cafe. It's over-priced and if you have to travel a long way, you're better off bringing your own picnic, or going somewhere else. Seriously, the RHS o=ought to get their act together and give a good chef the cafe franchise, They'd get far more happy customers visiting the gardens too.

Asda used to be a guaranteed good cheap brkfast but they’ve sold out to chains like Greggs, Sbarro, bubbleology and Leon. I was stuck in the area after dropping a car off after a long early morning drive so made the mistake of thinking Asda was a good bet for a breakfast - £12.07 for some bits in a box and a coffee - a small piece of bacon, 2 small sausages a teaspoon of beans, 2 baby tomatoes and a bag of 5 potato things that were meant to be hash browns. In the past their cafes would be full but I’m not surprised that today (Friday usually a busy day), at 10:00am, aside from me there are only 2 people sitting here - even so the tables are covered by rubbish… an absolutely awful experience. Asda please get your focus back to serving your customers not screwing money out of franchise food units. PS just as I was finishing this review an elder couple came past and I heard them say about the Food Quarter “… I know it’s been like this a while, it’s awful isn’t it”. I’m clearly not alone!

Came to Marks and Spencer for coffee, asked for our tea and tea cakes! They did not have any tea cakes, this happens frequently when going to their cafes. All they say is it’s not available on that day, but it happens frequently!!! I’ve complained for years about this, not having goats or soya milk in the cafe!! They sell it in the shop, so they do have it!!! When toast came it was warm to say the least!!! Also staff were rude, they seemed annoyed we even asked and asked why it happens a lot! We didn’t really get an answer! Also when trying to pay the lady was rude and told me I had to wait, but she was really abrupt!!! Made me feel like I was an inconvenience! If I spoke to my patients like that, I would be warned!!! When we walked to the tables not one was clean, we had sat down for about 10 minutes before they started to clear them!!! Inefficiency at its best!!!
