The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Was enjoying a nice afternoon watching cricket on the shop terrace when I experienced a male member of staff verbally abusing one of his colleagues. Totally shocking and something I wouldn’t expect from a quaint village shop!

It took 45 minutes to serve me a jacket potatoe with cheese, the place wasn't even busy. No dressing on the salad as specified on menu, I asked the lady that delivered it to me if she could please get me some and didn't. I went to the counter and was left waiting for 5 mins for the salad dressing until I complained my food was getting cold and it eventually materialised. Have visited 3 times , never a good experience, scruffy, tables never cleaned, tea served in nasty thick mug with Teabag just left in it, staff don't care, slow inattentive. Last visit for me.

Disappointing Experience for Visiting Yachtsmen - Avoid if Vegan As a visiting yachtsman with a crew of three, we were looking forward to a pleasant meal out in Bucklers Hard. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. As a vegan member of the party, I was dismayed to find absolutely no vegan options on the menu. Upon politely inquiring with the staff if anything could be prepared – even a simple sandwich – the response was a blunt "No." The only offering I received was an uninspired and frankly insulting "you could have chips." This complete lack of consideration for dietary requirements was incredibly disappointing and made me feel unwelcome. My crew, who are not vegan, reported that their meals were mediocre at best, and certainly not worth the inflated prices charged. This further compounded our negative experience. For visiting yachtsmen, especially those with any dietary restrictions, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a meal in Bucklers Hard. This establishment clearly does not cater to diverse needs and offers poor value for money. A truly disappointing experience that left a sour taste in our mouths.

This is a dire pub. No atmosphere. Awful

Went this morning for breakfast. Literally got our food straight away, you might think this is good, but how long had it been siting there? It was barely warm, so the hot store is obviously not doing it’s job. Food would be better served on a hot plate too. I’d nearly finished my breakfast before my toast arrived. I like to eat it with my my breakfast. If I’d waited though my food would have been stone cold. I did let Morrisons staff know the food was not hot enough. Let’s hope they can improve this.

A great place with friendly helpful staff , who are always super busy , so wait is sometimes required. I never mind as people can only do one thing at a time , and the surroundings are pleasant.Go with a serene attitude and empathy for your fellow man (or woman) who is working flat out for you , and then enjoy your delicious coffee.

Food was fantastic staff happy most had a smile kitchen staff the same waited only 7 mins for mains food and was busy in restaurant, think a new restaurant Manager had started as we asked who he was and got told he started end of December which is good to hear but maybe he needs to actually work rather then standing around hands behind his back, one girl did comment he spends most of the days in kitchen but his a restaurant manager so be where u should be and kitchen has been doing fantastic before he came, I've been coming here for many a year and food has improved so much in the last months with the new kitchen Manager who is lovely bubbly her food is always on the button, but must say new Manager do some work not just move things around or stand watching what an easy job you have, garden centre is laid out well but some plants did look dead

Fabulous young lady and helpful to start. Cash only excepted, luckily our 10yr old daughter had pocket money from a grandparent! Horrendous customer service from the older lady who refused to help with some hot water for a baby bottle despite paying £18 for 4 take away coffees! Lady was rude, unhelpful and merely advised about her overheads. To which I left and thank the Lord for good old fashioned breast milk coming to the rescue! Taking advantage of her location and the arrogance was unbecoming.

Staff were miserable and no communication when ordering , ordered fruit toast and given spreadable not butter ! Drinks just left on side for you to try and find yours

Tuesday 15th April lunchtime. Long queues, long wait, packed with uncleared tables, stifling hot as the aircon had broken and windows couldn’t be opened. Medicocre expensive food. Won’t be returning.

Regular Pret goer in London. Bought a coffee and pain au raisin at Ashford outlet. Pain au raisin tasted of bleach/oven cleaner so left it after two mouthfuls and took it back to counter. They offered to replace but didn’t fancy trying again.Even the coffee didn’t get rid of the taste. Will use Costa next visit.

Always stop here when travelling to Dorset. Yesterday was the worst. Ordered 2 bacon rolls and 2 lattes. The lattes were average at best and the bacon rolls were reheated in a microwave to the point the roll was crispy and chewy. Toilets were much cleaner than the last time we visited All in all we may not bother stopping next time we travel that way.

Went there for a sit down and a pot of tea with a friend and we were called disgusting and yelled at for having outside food on us in the open. The staff member came over and informed us that they didn't allow outside food in the cafe, which was fine until she decided to yell at us further and gossip loudly to other staff members and even other customers about how, people just don’t do that, how it was filthy behaviour and how it’s unfortunate that she couldn't just kick us out due to our tea. I am disgusted that they assumed that was professional behaviour.

I come here regularly with friends and our young children. Tasty, well priced meals. The kids meal deal is especially good. You can choose a sandwich or mini pizza, crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink. They have crayons and pages to colour too.

The staff here are just so friendly and kind. My kids love coming here as a treat after the shops or swings. Good choice of food
