The best restaurants in South East

Surprisingly quick for a made to order bagel. Good selection of everything...bagels and fillings. Whilst exploring the area, this made a good savoury choice stop. 4* as not exceptional to make a special trip

For those who want small or shaorma like in Romania, I recommend trying the food here. I always come from miles away just to enjoy the taste of home.

Terrible experience! It took the server sooo long to take the very simple order of the man on front of me on an i pad that she didn't seem to know how to work, while other workers in the cafe stood about doing nothing. Eventually I was served, I was told it would take 5 minutes, based on the slowness so far I left it 10 minutes. When I returned there was no sign of the food, I was told they would bring it to me, 15 mins later still nothing . My friend went back this time and so told another 15 mins! They said this was due to the problems they had with the chip and pin device, irrelevant as we paid cash! We asked for out money back snd went elsewhere. This cafe was great under the previous owners, I won't go there again- can't review the food as we never got any! I have a beach hut nearby and used to use the cafe regularly , they have lost my custom and my friends!

Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Been several times and staff are always quick to greet you and very accommodating, cocktails deserve a special mention!

Lovely ambience, nice food and Eleanor was a fantastic waitress we were really impressed with how lovely she was. As well as Rhianna they made our time there. Would go again.

Typical Romanian restaurant. I discovered it a year and a half ago and since then I go whenever I have the opportunity. They always have an event with live music. Especially on holidays and depending on the month, they also organize Stand Up Comedy. Their Facebook page is worth following. Wide variety of foods and extremely tasty. Everything I ate was very, very tasty. Raluca and Nicu are extraordinary. Super hosts, respectful and full of life. I recommend!

We’ve had a few pizzas now from several Red Pizza Van and they’re consistently amazing, fresh, tasty flavourful, and clearly made with care. The team is absolutely lovely: always polite, kind, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If I may offer one small piece of feedback, it’s that the dough it's a little too salty. Just a touch less salt would make an already excellent pizza truly perfect. Thank you for the great food and service, we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Placed in the heart of Tenterden what helps when You out and about. Went there for pizza and some kebabs with friends, didn't have to wait long for food to be ready. Food was fresh, tasty and not overpriced. I ordered a pizza and must say was one of the best pizzas i haf for a long time. Very friendly and polite staff. Would definitely recommend

Home from home. Majid and his team always make me feel welcome. Clean, friendly and family oriented cafe. They make the best freshly squeezed orange juice in my opinion (the smaller size is sufficient at £3.95). I also buy their bolognese dish occasionally as it is fantastic.

Had our lunch here a couple of weeks ago. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

Made to feel unwelcome ,had a reservation for 6pm and before we even sat down we were told we had to vacate by 7.30 we agreed and the lady then sat us down ,we ordered our food ,the waiter brought our food over and walked away ,we realised my husband’s dish was missing so we called him back , only to be told they are not cooking that particular dish today ,first we knew of that ,so we said what’s he supposed to do he has no meal ,so he was handed a menu to choose another dish ,meanwhile the rice and bread went cold ,the food was actually nice ,we had heard good things about this restaurant and we were treated appallingly.As soon as we had eaten we paid and left ,quite frankly couldn’t get out of there quick enough,so asked the lady who took our order why was a dish on the menu that for whatever reason the chef is not cooking ,she said she didn’t know that .

Visited in September with my couple of girl friend, wanted to give a go for their vegan dishes.. It was absolutely yummy and they have a very friendly staff and atmosphere!

Gem of a place. Lovely food, quality ingredients, tasty and not your boring average menu choices. Stylish decor and ambience. It can get busy and you may need to wait a short time at peak times but staff are good and help manage the wait and getting a table. Service is good.

Lovely independent coffee shop definitely always support out local companies. I find that the other big brands arent as nice and the food especially the cakes are amazing.

Came here to say Sunday not planned. Just walked in from celebrating birthday on the beach! There was a live singer who was great and we decided to have food! And it was great we had pizza and sides and wow it was incredible!! Definitely recommend ♥️♥️
