Terrible experience! It took the server sooo long to take the very simple order of the man on front of me on an i pad that she didn't seem to know how to work, while other workers in the cafe stood about doing nothing. Eventually I was served, I was told it would take 5 minutes, based on the slowness so far I left it 10 minutes. When I returned there was no sign of the food, I was told they would bring it to me, 15 mins later still nothing . My friend went back this time and so told another 15 mins! They said this was due to the problems they had with the chip and pin device, irrelevant as we paid cash! We asked for out money back snd went elsewhere. This cafe was great under the previous owners, I won't go there again- can't review the food as we never got any! I have a beach hut nearby and used to use the cafe regularly , they have lost my custom and my friends!

Just back from a weekend in Kent - ending up in Broadstairs where the Louisa Bay Cafe is just a jewel by the sea. Even in these difficult times the food and drinks they offer are excellent and Paul and Camilla always brighten my day. Keep it up guys - and sorry to be missing the dream team with Ned and Mabel today!

Went to the beach today, and my 3 year old god son sat on one of their chairs next to the cafe to put his shoes on, which obviously because of COVID I would understand, but the fact there was NO sign to say they were the cafe chairs, and next to a tap which beach users wash their feet with, also a 3 year old doesn’t exactly know about this virus and what he can and can’t do, not even every adult does. However, out comes an older lady from the cafe “those are our chairs, get him off them, and wiped them down when he’s off them”... okay, you could’ve been polite about it. But no you’re attitude stunk. I was about to buy a drink for him but because of your rude attitude and lack of signage on the chairs I’ll take my money elsewhere! Such a lovely cafe ruined by an ugly attitude, poor cafe.

The aroma of Greece wafts up the salty shore seafront. Seriously the best Greek Salad this side of the Adriatic (and then some!). This place is always a family favourite when we visit and stay in the local cottage, otherwise known as the Boathouse on Wrotham Road. Take a look at both if you have the chance - highly recommend!

I almost don't want to recommend this cute cafe - I'd like it to remain slightly undiscovered so there is always a table for me and my friends - but it deserves a good review! It's a great find at the quieter end of Broadstairs beach, just a few tables at the edge of the sea, wonderful bacon and sausage sandwiches, and for us, a great way to start a Sunday morning when we visit Broadstairs.. You sit right next to the beach (or on the beach if the few tables are busy), take in the sea air, just watch the quiet world. Busy bank holidays .... well, still as cute, but busy (!) and a long wait for food, The staff are polite and friendly and very apologetic if you do have to wait a bit. Not sure if this is open all year round or just seasonal. Think we've been August, September and April, May only,

We love the LBC! Our friends talk about it when they're planning a visit from London. It was jam packed yesterday - bank holiday Monday. I still got friendly service on the sweatiest of days! I usually have their breakfast, but went for a more abstemious Greek Salad, which was a pretty full plate of food. Its fun seeing the family all working together too. Another little gem in Broadstairs!

We were not happy with the cheap cash and carry produce, I would of thought in a area like this they wouldnt buy cash and carry cheap food , it is a shame as when i said i would rather pay more for a better produce i was blasted with being told not to return as posh london people are a pain which is no problem as we wont be returning, so we were shouted and and whilst there the woman was agreeing with a guy about dogs shouldnt be allowed on any beaches , i think not buying cheap tacky produce is more important ............,

Visited a number during the summer of 2015 as it's good to escape from the very popular and busy viking bay round the corner. The Louisa bay cafe sits on a concrete undercliff walkway with enough space to lay out several tables. On a hot day you can sit and have a meal, go for a swim and come back to rinse off under the public shower next to the cafe. On a cold day you can just sit with a bacon sandwich, a cup of tea and look at the view of sand, sea and sky. The menu is unexciting but adequate, quality is mid-range for a cafe but the location relly makes it worth a visit.

This is a really lovely beach side cafe with wonderful views of the little beach and sea. I thought that the menu was different to other beach side cafes as whilst you could still get the usual seaside menu they also offered such things as a chicken Caesar salad and a Greek salad. I chose the chicken Caesar salad and found the chicken to be cooked seemingly to order and the salad really fresh. The others in my party had a panini each which was also really tasty and full of their chosen filling. We had beautiful weather, a great spot for people watching, a really delicious lunch and really good value for money. If you ever find yourself in Broadstairs - make the effort to go to this cafe. You will be delighted.

Great friendly staff at this hidden away little beach shack. Don't expect a wooden shack, it's concrete and metal but don't be fooled, the coffee and food are great and it's a far better beach than Viking Bay!!! Go and have a look. A cracking little cafe in a lovely spot. Went for lunch with a friend Have been here before for tea and cake Sat at a table in the sun decided to move when one with a sun shade became free as I got up my brand new trousers caught on 2 prices of the plastic wicker chair that had come losses and were sticking out. I hadn't noticed this when sitting down as I couldn't pull the chair out fully due to lack of space. My trousers were damaged. I informed the waiter who just said sorry, and he would remove the chair. This wasn't done until as we left, I told another member of staff. If I had had bare legs, I would have had a nasty cut. We ordered jacket potato with chilie and salad. Which was quite nice . However my friends coffee was cold. Informed the same male member of staff who said the machine was playing up he took the cup and returned the same half drunk coffee to the table it had obviously just been put in the microwave. Sadly, I now have a damaged pair of trousers that I will have to pay to be mended, and we were not even given a full cup Of fresh coffee. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Watery ice cream - yuck. Unfortunately I think the proprietors forgot to add the ice cream powder to the liquid today. Within 30seconds of having the cones the “ice cream” was melting and it was very watery tasting. It is advertised as Jersey ice cream which surely means it should be creamy?

The QC is a super, traditional pub tucked away in a historic little street in Ramsgate. It is very quirky, friendly, and atmospheric. Well worth a visit for a good pint of Ale.
