Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Been several times and staff are always quick to greet you and very accommodating, cocktails deserve a special mention!

Always friendly great coffee and healthy food . Definitely worth visiting . Never have to wait too long to be served . Being in the town centre it's very handy

Lovely cafe in Ramsgate centre. Bustling with charm, individuality and puns. The food at zest is always really fresh, creative and feel good. Lots of vegan options and always something interesting. Tried 5/6 of the vegan dishes over last few years and all were wonderful (the dirty chai latte is also sensational). Owners and staff very friendly. Always a must visit on our annual trip to Ramsgate.

Popped in here for a coffee and piece of cake whilst in Ramsgate. We got a table inside and the restaurant and tables were nice and clean. The service was good, the coffees were nice and the cakes were delicious

Probably my favourite cafe to visit in Thanet. The vegan garden breakfast is literally my favourite thing to look forward to. Friendly staff, the food tastes amazing, I really enjoy , I come over from Margate to visit, if you guys were closer I would make you make me breakfast every day!! The inside of the cafe is always clean and tidy, looks really funky, they’ve got a great brand. Coffee is nice, and as a coffee shop owner myself I know about Coffee.

Freshly squeezed orange and ginger - divine. Garden and Healthy breakfasts absolutely delicious. Really enjoyed Chris' humourous menus - particularly the children's one! Quirky decor and great attention to detail. Loved the little hand towels in the toilet. Super clean.

We visited Ramsgate in October 2020 and came across this bright, fresh, clean cafe. Great menu, Great service and cleaned regularly. We went back several times!

Had a lovely brunch today. Really impressed with the steps the café have taken to make customers feel safe - without affecting the atmosphere in the space. Good value too.

Absolutely delighted with the attention to detail, homemade fare and quirky touches. Cocktails to start (well it was the weekend!) a delicious burger with fries, and a coffee to finish. I can't recommend highly enough

My son and I go to Zest often and the food is always wonderful and tastes delicious. I highly recommend the halloumi wrap and my son loves the vegan lentil fake pulled pork burger.

Absolutely stunning! Went for breakfast and afternoon cocktails and both were lovely! Service was friendly and quick. Super reasonable prices for good fresh good quality food.Clean and tidy, all very well presented. Covid measures in place but not intrusive.Would eat here regularly if we lived closer! Definitely a revisit on the cards when back in Ramsgate!!!

Everytime we come here the food is great, the staff are lovely and the café is clean and well presented. It's pretty much our 'go to' place in Ramsgate for a brekkie/brunch. I would definitely recommend it and will certainly be back.

Have been dreaming of zest since the start of lockdown, so I knew it was the first place I had to go for a meal out! Was seriously impressed with the covid precautions, they really have done everything they can to make their customers feel safe whilst still maintaining the bright and quirky atmosphere their customers know and love. The service was excellent, they went above and beyond as always. My vegan garden breakfast was delicious, sooo many flavours on one plate, beautifully presented and a very generous portion! The smoothie I ordered, black magic, was excellent too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Myself and a friend arrived at a busy time and the staff were simply superb. The waitress took the time to make personal recommendations on the drinks and her choice was bang on. I ordered the vegan 'pulled pork' and it was truly delicious. The portion was fairly large and I was joking with my friend that I was going to get in a mess, a gentleman behind the counter overheard and offered extra napkins. I loved the super friendly human service. The food was fresh, well presented and brimming with many perfectly complimentary flavours. I'll definitely be back.

I've always loved the healthy, delicious food, great coffee and bright, cheerful decor here, and missed them! So pleased to see they're open again. Passed by, alas between meals, but had the tastiest, nutty, fabulous coffee at one of the newly separated and safe tables inside. Loved it. Always great service and good things to eat and drink here. Like Archive, Tricolore, Little Ships, etc it's one of the newer generation of classy cafes and restaurants in Ramsgate which are every bit as good as the classic old favourites. I've been meaning to pop into this establishment for sometime but never got around to it.Well, I'm glad I stopped by today, I fancied something light and breezy so after a quick browse over the menu I opted for the falafel sandwich which came with matchstick fries.Services was fast and easy. Their takeaway service was simple to deal with and the gentleman serving brought the food straight to me.The food itself was wonderful, piping hot and fresh with a lovely mix of flavours.The falafel was probably the best I've had after many visits to different cafes.And the match stick fries made a great and light compliment to the sandwich which was stuffed full of delicious fresh tasting leaves. The bread was well toasted which was paired with a delicious and "zesty" aioli.The part of my experience that really stood out was when I enquired in regards to a gluten free menu.The server quickly offered to grab it for me and brought it out for me to take a few snaps of it to show my partner. (who is gluten free)Very kind, very informative on what they offered and very helpful.Will be returning soon. Hopefully for a few cocktails and another go at the beautiful menu.

This is without doubt my favourite cafe in town, then menu is interesting and very tasty they have nice wraps and good breakfast.fresh ingredients and most amazing fresh juices ever! The service is very good as well. I highly recommend, specially if you are vegetarian.

I went here on my first visit to Ramsgate. We were excited to find a vegan breakfast spot - I went to the till to order and ordered a lot of food (money wise)! I was then told to leave because I dared to carry an unbranded coffee cup in which had 2 sips left. The man serving me was aggressive and when I asked politely can we just finish our last bit of coffee as we are about to order loads of food and he said flat no , that we were unacceptable and told us to leave. I have NEVER been spoken to so rudely somewhere I’m about to spend money. Really shocking and embarrassing for him. If i was his manager I’d be furious - if he’s the manager then you need a lesson in customer service. I’ll be telling everyone I know to stay well clear. We went round the corner to The Ship and were treated like royalty!

Had a Lovely lunch here the other Saturday with my 10 year old niece, who was spoilt for choice with the kids menu and its amusing titles. Club sandwich was amazing, and a generous glass of tasty fruit juice too. Dog friendly, and looking forward to going back soon.

Small and bright with good modern menu. Nice touches show flair. Hosts are friendly and unassuming. Good food served in an unhurried dining room.

No much to say, for an independent cafe table service is essential, and even that the service was bad and for what they offer it is expensive.

Visited the zest cafe today and witnessed appalling behaviour from the male staff, refusing to serve a lady with obvious learning disabilities and her young carer. It was embarrassing and you wouldn’t think such a public display of discrimination would happen in this day and age. For some reason the staff here clearly didn’t want this lady in their cafe. I will not be returning here I wouldn’t want to spend my money somewhere they discriminate against vulnerable people!!! Avoid!!

I love Zest! All the individual ingredients are so tasty and they show so much attention to detail. I don't generally like burgers much but Zest's are fabulous. I have the bean burger with extra avocado and mushrooms, with one of their delicious side salads full of all the ingredients English salads don't contain, and either sweet potato chips or the regular kind. The buns are made in the house and they're not sugary and floppy, they're delicious, with texture and bite. Perfect service too and the 'lemon' theme of the decor always makes us feel cheerful.

A wonderful cocktail taste experience with quirky , amusing detailed menu. Tucked away at the end of Queen Street, Ramsgate we received a warm welcome. The young couple who run it were hard working and worked well together. We commend this small bistro to any visitor.

Myself and a few friends (two of which were vegan), attended a festive cocktail making session at Zest, in Ramsgate on Friday. The owners Chris and Tyler, were amazing hosts and we had such a great evening making our cocktails which were all excellent (my favourite was the Ramsgate eggnog ... soo tasty). Chris was a great host and the nibbles Tyler prepared were very tasty ... It was so good to find something like this in Ramsgate and I hope Zest lay on more of these in the future. The only thing I would change next time is I’d take more people .

Third time I have called in here now and always a lovely warm welcome. Small venue but amazing food and the hot chocolate and freshly made cakes are to die for. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Popped in for lunch on impulse! Really pleased I did - had the warm Thai Noodle Salad with chicken and it was bursting with flavours, so delicious. Freshly made and worth the wait, service was good.

Lots of options to suit everyone. There is a little wait for the food, but it's fresh and worth waiting for. One of my fave places for lunch :)

Stumbled in here due to the nice bright decor and good menu.. lovely owners who made the best vegan pulled pork burger from lentils and carrots in sourdough roll, healthy smoothie and falafel wraps.. all delicious and well priced... will return

Great cafe. Liked the light and friendly decor. We had a lovely salad bowl, plaice sandwich and the child’s menu. All very well presented, fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly.

The Merlot was pretty good too, soft and fruity, & reasonable. I’m not usually a burger eater - I like healthy food - but this was that rare thing, a delicious, healthy burger ( I added mushrooms & avocado) in a bun with substance and crust, plus a generous, unboring salad - great seasoning - chips from skin-on potatoes, and as a side, fabulous crisp orange sweet-potato chips. Wonderful service as ever. We didn’t try the cocktails but they looked great. Ramsgate, rush to enjoy the fabulous Lemon Zest - at last a worthy successor to Mike and Georgia and Caboose.

Lovely little cafe bar in Queen street ramsgate. Best burger I have ever tasted so take no notice of previous review. The bun was a sourdough bun which was lovely & crispy hate the soft burger buns. Friendly staff clean fresh comfortable place to enjoy a laid back lunch.

So we went for lunch sat just gone. We use to go to this Cafe in a previous form, it was bright, on point and dependably consistent, so we had hopes because of their vibrant social media profile, this was going to be a treat.

Simply the best breakfast and cappuccino around! Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere all at a very good price.

Popped in for the first time today, having looked at the menus displayed outside the premises.

Came here for breakfast and was not dissapointed. I had the healthy breakfast and at other places this could be a bit bland but this was so delicious. Garlicky roasted tomato, squeeze of lemon on the spinach, gorgeous bacon, and a beautiful paced egg. It was really nice to notice they pay attention to everything on the plate. Looking forward to coming back and trying out their cocktails one evening.

We've been here a few times now (me, my wife and our little boy) for breakfast and it's never disapointed.... great ingredients, well cooked food and friendly staff.

I had Vegan pulled pork which was an infused lentil &'carrot mix with a lemon salad served in a sourdough bun with fries, this was wonderful absolutely packed full of flavours. My wife had halloumi fries with a pear & ginger chutney which again was fantastic. The drinks were also great the coffee I had & the chilli chocolate my wife had. Great food & great service.

This is the first time I’ve visited Zest and it will not be the last. The staff are so nice and friendly and what I thought was so kind was that I had asked if they had any sweetners for my tea and the gentleman apologised and said he didn’t have any but within a few minutes he had gone out and come back wth some for me.

Of all the little cafes in Ramsgate, this genuinely was the most delicious breakfast we’ve had here. A healthy breakfast and a traditional fry up was happily demolished. The coffee was superb! I am so so pleased that it’s in Ramsgate. Will definitely be treating this as my local to support them!

This unpretentious little cafe is a gem.

Saturday lunch time & we chose this place as it was closest to where we heading so was ideal for some lunch. I had the "Banging Balsamic Beanburger & Fries" & my wife had the "Zest Burger & Fries" both were gorgeous absolutely full of flavour, the salsa on my burger was packed full of coriander & chilli flavours & the fries were crisp & wonderful. We will definitely be popping back to try more from the menu.

We went here for lunch and had excellent food. The service was great and will be looking forward to returning for some cocktails in the evening.

I visited this place with my other half as a casual bit of lunch. It was absolutely fantastic. I had the short rib ramen soup. My girlfriend had the plaice wrap. Then shared a bowl of halloumi fries. Honestly the best food I’ve had out in Ramsgate. Will definitely return.

My wife and I went in today as we have been intrigued by this cafe since it opened. The staff were very attentive and we were spoilt for choice with the menu, even being plant based there was such a variety. The food was wonderful and very well priced, we will definitely be returning. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

Had a great lunch with my wife, which was lovely, the coffee was good as was the service & all served in a clean & fresh looking environment. We will definitely go back & try the menu again.
