Excellent fish always fresh as are the chips. Would highly recommend the best 🐟 fish and chips in Thanet. Very clean and easy to find a parking spot.

Terrible service. Delivery was wrong and blamed Just Eat. Refused to correct it. Said they haven’t got any means to do so. Refused to give refund saying take it up with Just Eat who were just the couriers. All you get with Just Eat is a credit!!!!!! Total rip off. Just gave us what was there and not what was offered hoping you would not come back! Totally disappointed and WONT use again. Will go to St Peter’s next time!!!! £17 down the drain!

Just ordered a meal via Just Eat. Wrong meal delivered. Phoned the take away and was told to complain to Just Eat. When I challenged him as to the fact it was his mistake, he replied "well haven't you made mistakes" He said couldn't bring the correct order to me as he had no transport but when I asked how he had got to the takeaway that night, he didn't reply. I asked for the amended order to be sent to me and I am still waiting!!!!

Found some hair in my chips. Unfortunately I was half way through them at the time.

My dad goes here every Friday without fail and has done for years. I've had Haddock and chips from here maybe thirty times. It's always cooked to order with a large portion of Haddock and generous portion of chips. Clean and welcoming too. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The best! I was walking my dog home while eating a bag and thought to myself wow these really are of the best bags of chips I’ve ever had! Who would of thought eating a bag of chips would be so memorable?

I came yesterday as a visitor from the other side of Kent. We called with a very large order of over 20 items and when I turned up the food was ready. The Customer Service was incredible and they even added a few extras for us. The standard of food was sensational and the people that we took the food to were really appreciative and it was lovely.

Freshly cooked chips, cooked just how I like them, battered sausage too wasn't that bad. Fairly priced. Will most definitely be returning

When in the area it's our go to place for take out fish and chips to eat by the sea. During day time visits it has always been cooked to order. Great quality and taste. Pricing competitive. Eat in is an option and I'm sure delivery is to (please check)

Fish and chips are second to none

Good little place, quick service, good old traditional fish and chips! The batter we found although tasted lovely was a little soggy and thick in places. Chips were lovely and big portions. Curry sauce was lumpy and almost more of a thick soup than a sauce but there again was tasty. Fair pricing and good food, but just couple of let downs!

The staff were really nice and when they didn’t have the haddock she recommended the plaice to me . The fish was freshly fried and ten minutes later I had an enormous piece of perfectly fried fish and medium chips. The chips were delish… but the fish was just so light and crispy I may never try to get haddock again ! 5 stars !

Ordered waited 2 hours with ever later delivery time then cancelled order. If your not going to do order let customer know when they order shocking way to treat customers!!!

What a find! Food cooked fresh to order, batter used was a rich golden colour and perfectly crisp. The battered halloumi was delicious and the cod used was moist and fleshy. BUT a word of warning! They don’t lie when they say a large portion of chips is large,easily feeds two with spare and would do a young family of four - so many chips!!! Shame we were on holiday and not locals, Palm Bay would easily be my choice as local takeaway.

Absolutely wonderful fish and chips. The batter was so crispy on the outside and the cod so soft and moist on the inside. The best fish and chips I have had in a long long time. We also drive just a few mins away and ate them overlooking the sea, superb. We will be back next time we are down that way.

Really tasty and fresh food! The batter on everything was the best we've had, the chips were very nice but be warned that the portions are very generous, a large portion is very large. The menu was extensive too, there was something for everyone and they had a few "unconventional" items like battered halloumi. It is cash only which was okay but just keep that in mind as there's only one small sign to tell you that.

Lovely fish and chips - we travel to buy from here over anywhere else in the Thanet area. Atmosphere is downgraded perhaps unfairly as a result of the pandemic legacy; screens still up, seating not fully reinstated. Highly recommended as a take away venue.

Nice and lovely haddock and chips I had, I found it tasty and enjoyable. Good treat after coming from the seaside. My only complaint is that it was very unclear what the total price was and it’s cash only so it can be awkward. I had medium fish and chips and a medium chips and I expected to pay £8.20 but I was charged £10.40 not sure how.

Not sure why everyone rates this place, stupidly expensive and everything is literally microwaved!! Also find it strange as to why they still have the tables left in there just stacked up on one side, not to mention the silly screen!! It is a real shame to see a place not being used to its full potential.

Very friendly staff. We ordered 2 large chips which were massive and very tasty. We also ordered mushy peas and curry sauce, all very nice 👍 If you're on the beach, it is a 10/12 minute walk, but it is worth it. It's a lot quicker walking downhill back to the beach, so your food will stay hot!

The service was friendly and quick. The portions are very large. However, the batter on the fish is a bit doughy, so it could’ve done with being fried longer or change the batter mix. Also, the fish was very oily so it could’ve done with waiting a bit for some of the oil to drip off before wrapping it. Secondly, the chips were a bit soft and little bit stale, so the chips could’ve been fried at the same time or similar as the fish so it doesn’t go soft. The curry sauce wasn’t very flavourful, so maybe more curry powder/paste is needed or a change of brand. Lastly, it would be nice if they offer boxes to those taking away to eat outside. Since there’s not many options available in the area after your day at the beach, it’ll suffice to fill your belly for the evening and the food’s ok.

Lovely fish and chips from this place, shame it only takes cash as its not the cheapest meal to have nowadays. Don't order large chips unless u r very hungry. Two of u struggled to get thru half of them.

Consistently high quality and fresh produce, competitively priced with generous portions in my experience. My local go-to for fresh fish 'n' chips every time!

A local actually showed us this shop, as the others were a little further away. Nice little shop, only downside is it is cash only, with an atm a few doors down at the Co Op. The portions were very big as we ordered a small and medium, the small portion looked like a medium as the amount was alot! Fresh taste, cod was very nice too. Also a little disappointing is that they only have satches for the condiments and they were not free. Otherwise the food was good, just the other reasons were a little let down.

Best, freshest cooked fish and chips in Kent. We moved to Broadstairs from London and were looking for somewhere to rival the great Olley's of Southeast London fame. Palm Bay win hands down and at very reasonable prices. We used to collect, but now get delivered piping hot via JustEat. Excellent!!

Friendly, and cooked on order -- so v fresh. Excellent fish and chips which we took slightly further down the coast to enjoy while eating on the beach. The battered fish had a good deep colour, and was delicious. The chips had a great flavour too. Youngest was very happy with the battered sausage. Nice to have decent sauces too -- and not the knock off versions.

Very rude service, main guy ordering everyone around seemed like his fed up of his Job, on top I asked his is all my order in the bag, he almost took it as an insult and replied with a firm tone of voice, 'ofc it is' once I open everything, what do you know portion chips missing. Defo won't be going there again.

When they first opened we thought it was just opening months their food would be fantastic and then it would go down hill. I am so happy to say this is not the case. We have recommended to family and friends and all have come back saying the same: Fish cooked perfectly, crispy batter, chips tasty!! I wouldn't get takeaway fish and chips anywhere else - sampled all others in area but wouldn't go back to any other than here.

Average prices. Not busy at all and they seemed to be following covid guidelines. The food was ok, nothing spectacular, but not bad at all. We drove the five minutes to the car park overlooking Joss Bay to enjoy our meal.

Ordered online & was delivered really quickly. Good quality fish & chips, cod was medium, but huge! Loads of chips & burger was good, we forgot the cheese as not included.. Fairly pricey with delivery charge etc but was very nice. Think they could do free sauce as everything costs.
