The best restaurants in South East

An absolute must, if you're visiting or live in Chichester . A delicious range of traditional, freshly made pies. Pie heaven. The pie,mash,peas, and gravy meal is bursting with comfort flavour and very reasonably priced. Turner's pies were recommended to me by a friend who drove myself and another friend from Portsmouth to Chichester to try them out. I've raved about the place since. Do you love pies? Don't hesitate!

Amazing pub, great service and fantastic prices. The landlord, Aiden, is a great, friendly and helpful chap! Will definitely be back in the near future, Aiden sure knows how to run a pub! Literally the best.

At first we were impressed by the low prices compared to other places on King's Road. The ambience is nice and the cakes look tasty! We ordered a cheese & onion toastie and a hummus, Halloumi and carrot wrap to take-away. We were told the wait would be 10 minutes as there were a couple of orders before ours. 30 minutes later and our food had still not materialised! I understand that it was busy, but the two members of staff behind the counter didn't seem to have a rush bone in their bodies. The girl making the sandwiches even stopped to have a chat with some customers while everybody was waiting for their food. My biggest gripe however, was when I took a bite into my wrap and realised that they'd put grilled vegetables instead of carrot (I'd overheard earlier that they 'ran out of carrot' - but they didn't consult me about it). I am allergic to aubergine, which is in the grilled vegetables. Granted I didn't disclose that when I gave the order, but only because I'd intentionally chosen a wrap that didn't contain grilled vegetables. I don't know whether it was an honest mistake, or whether they substituted the carrots without consulting me. If I hadn't been in my car driving away I would have gone back and found out. In the end the whole thing went in the bin. All in all I think this business needs to take a look at its food practices. I also saw staff touching their hair and then food without washing their hands. I work in catering and this is a big no-no.

Website states it’s open till 3pm, we got there at 1:55pm and was told the kitchen closes at 2pm and were politely refused service. Not the best of experiences, please make opening hours more clear on your website and shop front. However giving potential repeat customers the grace of 5 minutes would have been reasonable.

It's a members only club but well worth joining (there is a waiting list). Great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Fab view of the sea from the bar or the outside patio.

By far the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Everything is full of flavour. Been really good every time I’ve ordered. Highly recommend

A little soft play but the staff make sure everyone has great fun, we just attended a theme event put on by the staff and my kids absolutely loved it.

We went to watch a band at Bunkfest. Clean well maintained pub and garden. Polite and fast service. We didn't order food, but menu looked good and well priced.

Regular restaurant that we visit with friends and family. Every time we thoroughly enjoy the food and warm welcome that we receive. Highly recommended

Huge, absolutely delicious burgers, a good selection of veggie burgers too. Excellent value for money and great staff. Highly recommend 👌
