When I say how stunning this place is, it is an understatement. I have had a few different options here... The salmon and scrambled eggs are to absolute die for.. As is the Welly! The latte's are out of this world too and the staff are so friendly even when they are so packed out. Aimee served us a few weeks ago with such a positive smiley attitude and today I was met by Kelly who is just a ball of fun! The owners are so kind... Get in there early as it is clearly a fan favourite. Best brunch/breakfast I have ever eaten in Dover. No wonder it's popular!
Called in here today for lunch.
Very good choice on menu.
Generous portions served.
Staff courteous and service good considering it was quite busy.
Prices very reasonable.
Had a lovely evening yesterday at The Square. Busy with lots of atmosphere, papas was delicious. My favourite dishes were Burrata beautifully presented and Whitebait. Loved the way you could order a couple of dishes then more as you wanted. Ample wines and spirits. It would be nice to see an alcohol free wine on the menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
45 minute wait for a cheese and tomato sandwich and a burger! Sadly the food was not worth the wait nor the cost. Expensive in my view. Would not recommend based on my personal experience.
Came here for a family lunch and just stayed for a drink as the place is really grubby! Needs a good clean! I would hate to look inside the kitchen.
Definitely would not recommend. The marquee outside looked nice.
This is an excellent station buffet very much in the line of the one in the film Brief Encounter. I had a cream tea which was excellent. I will come again soon.

On our first night in Brighton we were taken past The Wine Cellar on our 'City Hunt' and decided to stop for a glass of wine. A lovely young lady came out to serve us and recommend a couple of wines which were amazing. We then carried on with the city hunt and started to look for somewhere to eat. We walked past many great places and decided to go back to the Wine Cellar because the baked camembert was calling!!! We added more cheeses and meats and the wild boar pate. OMG it was divine and well worth the trek back. We were recommended more, even better wine and ended up having the perfect start to our weekend, we literally couldn't have asked for more!! And accepting cash is the final big tick!!!
We've ordered a takeaway from this restaurant 3 times. The first time it was ok, the second time it was really good, but the third time will ensure we never order from here again. The pork in the sui mai dumplings was completely raw and the chow mein noodles had no flavour, despite opting for spice. The spring rolls were also soggy.
But mainly it was the raw meat... 🤢

Excellent fish and chips! Always consistent (have been coming here for 20 years!) and the quality of the ingredients, especially the fish, is of a very high standard. Always big white flakes and very crispy batter, cooked fresh. Great mushy peas and curry sauce too!
We had the most delicious flan and lovely fresh side salad. Served by friendly and welcoming staff. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. And excellent value for money, too. Highly recommended.
