chicken burger and wings were lovely. would of gave 5 stars but i ordered a pot of burger sauce and it wasn’t even a quarter full so very disappointed about that.

Fantastic paella to share with a friend

This is a lovely, reliable, local restaurant. They serve french style food. You can bring your own wine (£3 corkage) which is a big advantage. You need to book, particularly at weekends. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Sat Nav got us lost, so we stumbled on this pub. Staff and locals friendly & helpful. Food was delicious 😋 and directions back to our accommodation were fantastic Thank you.

I absolutely loved this golf course as it wasn't your typical driver wedge track. Very well laid out, with tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens all well manicured. I would suggest getting a buggy if you're a little unfit due to all the hills, yes hills, but all with great views of the forest. The only downfall was the kitchen was closed by 4pm. Definitely one of the best courses I've played locally but you have to be straight off the tee especially on the back 9. Thank you for having us 👌🏾

Came down for a camping holiday with a couple of lads, came to this pub for what was meant to be one drink...staff were so nice and helpful plus prices were good and had a brilliant live band on so we stayed till I took my meat raffle prize back (which I won there👌) . Definitely recommend this place! Also, no food at the pub but the Chinese that's literally next door can be ordered to the pub, the Chinese is 5 star too👌.

Genuinely nice family running the shop. Very friendly atmosphere, mum and daughter are very chatty. I went on Friday evening just for some chips, they were excellent and fresh. However they only take cash payment, which is fine by me as I'm old school. Do check if they are open in the month of August as they close the shop for holiday.

Had a fun drink with some spec, cheese & bread.

The staff was friendly and accommodated the request we made for a birthday cake.

The food was the worst I have ever tasted. The fish was so slimy and the batter was hideous. They call that a large that it looked like a small to me. Shocked honestly how people can do business with old fish. That was not fresh otherwise it would melt like butter. The chips were terrible as well. Not crispy just so bland. Not impressed had to throw my food away as the fish tasted funny and slimy and didn’t smell at all good.

I very rarely write reviews but felt compelled to today. Last night my wife and I had one of the best steaks we have ever had (and we eat a lot of steak!) Not only this but amazing starters of fried courgettes with aioli and a sensational burrata with marinaded tomatoes. But you really should go the steak itself. We ordered it rare and it immaculately succulent and well seasoned. I would highly recommend…

First food spot we tried in Hugh Wycombe, firstly want to say how lovely the lady that served us was! The food on the other hand was unrealll, best fried chicken ever and the patties are incredible. Also they make the punches them selves, would highly recommend trying!!
