Had Sunday lunch here today in the restaurant, we had the Lamb and the beef both were delicious the vegetables were so delicious especially the Cauliflower Cheese ..without doubt the best Sunday dinner I’ve ever had out.. 10/10 🥳👏👏👏👏👏
Crab and mackerel right by the sea. What more could you want?
Not cheap, but nobody wants a cheap crab pasty and everything is here is top quality and is really good value. The wine is good quality too and compliments the food.
Also, the setting is fab and with access a bit challenging you feel as if your meal is well earned.
I highly recommend to avoid, front counter food (sit their all day form start) i as for a sausage that look warm, they pick in up and throw it straight into the microwave, with a price tag of £2 this wasn’t the first time I’ve had this experience, won’t be going here again
Went for a meal tonight, as an early Mothers Day celebration. The restaurant was freezing cold and the food took 40 minutes to come. When it arrived it was good, so didn't make any complaints about coldness or time delay
I grew up in the village, and several old friends were in the pub. My son took my parents home (82 & 85), I told our table waitress I was moving to another table, and would pay the bill from there. My son and parents left the pub, only to be accosted by the other large waitress and owner, openly suggesting they had forgotten to pay the bill. The owner ran out to the car park!! Embarrassing for my parents and son, poor communication between staff, overall a very poor show!! Disappointing, I will not be returning 😒
Came here at the weekend as a small group and we had a fabulous meal.
From the meet and greet, to the host, the service and the food, everything was brilliant.
Food wise, we all had different things and everyone ate everything that was on their plates. Really tasty, piping hot and well presented.
Totally recommend, from a romantic dinner for 2 through to groups, great place to go.
Totally recommend and we will certainly be back.
