Whilst a very lovely store with lovely team, they suffer severe shortages recently with no warnings and constant advertisement of the items out of stock. They have no gingerbread syrup for over 2 weeks over Christmas, yet still advertise gingerbread drinks. No ice for iced drinks for around a week. No Bakewell tarts for over 2 weeks, yet again advertise them. Plus more… other Costas in the area all stock these items. Some literally 5 minutes drive away.

The staff in Costa (New St) Andover are incredible. Really young team who are so hard working, polite, friendly and can’t do enough for you. I collect a coffee almost every morning from the drive through at 8am and they couldn’t be any more accommodating and cheerful. I also pop in at the weekends and have a coffee in and it’s usually heaving - but the service doesn’t falter. Recently I forgot my purse when I was in the queue for a drive thru and they kindly made me my morning coffee anyway and trusted me to return to pay later. I would highly recommend anybody visiting here over any other Costa purely down to the staff. Amazing - thank you!

Absolutely recommend this place the staff are all extremely helpful and polite. Jamie goes above and beyond expectations everyday. Stan is also helpful, max is a great character. Beth molly abi and uma are always extremely friendly. Noah, Casey and Madoch are also very helpful. The whole team are a credit to Costa and are extremely professional in the way they appear and serve everyday. Most mornings it is always a pleasure to be served by one of the special team

Staff made our visit that little bit special .. with a touch of happy birthday & just good customer service , thank you ! Really clean (unlike the Costa in Andover town or Winchester town centre ).

Service is not friendly, the attendant was not happy to serve and made the wrong order, and when questioned he said he thought he had done it right and did not correct the error.

The staff here are young but are definitely a credit to the company and more more, to themselves and their parents. So well mannered but very natural about it, And the hot chocolate is the best, also another credit to all those involved. Well done guys your a credit to society.

Good coffee, but service could have been friendlier

My reason for 5 stars is not due to the food or drink, but due to the service I received. It’s a Costa. You expect the same level of food and drink quality at every branch and this one nails it as expected. What made my experience stand out was the customer service I received at the drive thru. At other places and other brands you would get greeted, usually abruptly, with “Welcome to x. Are you using the app?” Not today, however. The employee on drive thru at 7:20 on the 5th September 2023 started with “Welcome to Costa. How are you doing today?” This simple question immediately had a positive impact on how I felt. The addition of that simple question just instantly makes the exchange more pleasant on both fronts. The employee in question also deserves a compliment, as they helped me with the Costa app that wasn’t necessarily behaving for me. All in all it was a great experience.

We visited this Costa before catching the train home to London. It's a 5 minute drive to the station from here, so a perfect stop. Staff were polite and friendly. We used the drive thru that took a bit of time to complete the order. It was early though.

Such a lovely Costa, the team are all so friendly and enthusiastic. I come in here often with my baby to do work and always feel very welcome and looked after. It’s a clean space, nice atmosphere. Really nice to have somewhere calm and bright to get my work done with a nice drink. Almost hesitant to leave a review as I feel like it’s still a bit of a hidden gem here but feel the staff need recognition.
