Taking you back to the 1940's, this fantastic little quirky place on the station platform is a brilliant find We love it, travel 12 miles just to go there! Handy, too, if you're travelling from Emsworth & want to grab a coffee for the train. "Queenie"'s hospitality is first class. Excellent tea, too, served in vintage crockery, fit for any connoiseur. Friday nights live music on cosy patio or indoors makes for a most unusual night out. I've even seen people dancing on the station platform! Do support these independent places please! We need to keep them alive. We are swamped with enough run of the mill coffee shop chains.

This is a hidden gem of Emsworth. Today I visited with a friend for fresh scones and coffee. We sat in the garden accessible from outside the station, although the inside “waiting room” is very cozy too. Such a lovely friendly owner and a very charming waiter too. We spent 2 hours relaxing and enjoying different quirky surroundings. Friday nights look to be special music nights look at the facebook page. We will return

If you’re on the South Eastern route to or from Waterloo, Victoria then check to see if your train stops at Emsworth; it’s worth hopping off. It’s a gorgeous fishing village, with beautiful views and shops. Before you leave the station though, be sure to check out this gorgeous quaint tearoom and event venue at Platform 1. Queenie’s is a stunning, vintage tearoom with decor that feels as though you’ve stepped back in time. That, with the lovely wireless playing golden oldies, the authentic train sounds and smells, you have yourself a wonderful place to grab a coffee, a quick bite or a sweet treat. Additionally, Queenie’s holds event nights in their beautiful secret garden, serving their day menu, plus more including local Gin, Beer and Wines. Outside is a book swap, which is a great idea if you’ve forgotten a book for your commute, and the best part is they are dog friendly, serving Pup Cup’s of whipped cream with hidden treats. Go visit. You’ll not regret it!

Went to the Friday night Speakeasy, drank wine out of china teacups and listened to fantastic guitarist/singer Finn. Amazing ex-waiting room on platform 2 at Emsworth Station, step straight back in time to the 1930's, the time of prohibition! In the day Queenie runs a cosy, vintage tearoom but on a Friday evening, the place becomes even more alive with cocktails and music. A truly memorable experience, highly recommended.

It was my first visit yesterday to Queenie's Vintage tearoom - I was there for a networking meeting. The tearoom is such a lovely venue, the staff are fabulous & the coffee & cake divine. As it's on the station platform at Emsworth it is so easy to get to & I will be definitely be retuning (& not just for networking meetings). Thank you for the lovely visit & the excellent gluten free cake/slice.

I had a sausage rolls as there was not much I could eat. It could have been sold as vegetarian as the pink stuff in the middle was not meat. The coffee was good but came out one at a time as did the food. Not my idea of eating lunch with a friend. So very disappointed.

Love Queenies tearooms, fantastically decorated in a true vintage way with staff dressed in vintage clothing too. The coffee is by far the best in Emsworth and cakes are delicious. They also offer a range of toasties and sandwiches and other snacks. The cocktails and live entertainment on a Friday speakeasy are not to be missed. I highly recommend Queenies!!

Having dined at hundreds of coffee shop cafes around the world I chanced upon a local’ish little “wartime period gem” near to Portsmouth called Queenies. What was supposed to be 1hr catch up with a close friend, turned into a delightful 3 1/2hr experience of laughter, discussion, debate and quaffing,of the highest order! Yum!!! The coffee and tea is nothing short of outstanding! The residents of Emsworth and those who use the station as an embarkment to places new are very lucky to have such a gem on their doorstep. I’m already coming up with excuses to go back just for the delightfully yummy Bakewell tart coffee (SUPERB!!!)… Thank you lovely people.. 😋

Made booking for dinner on website last night for tonght . Got confirmationof booking this morning. . Arrived there. Got jumped at the bar first off, then announced we had a table booked for 8pm. Girl behind bar asked 'do we not know about the food situation?'. Obviously not!! They had no chef! She asked when we had booked, so I told her. She offered no explanation! She did how ever offer that we could order from the chip shop or Chinese next door and eat it in there! Not quite what we had planned. Why were we not informed by email or phone? Eventually found somewhere else to eat.

Went with a friend to see 'No Ordinary Love'- a film I wanted to see at the cinema but didn't manage to go. Ticket booking online very easy to do and pick up tickets from the box office. Nice little cafe inside but we didn't partake this time. Great film, helpful staff, will be back for another event soon.
