This was a fairly new restaurant in our area so we left it for about 6 weeks before booking a table just so that they can iron out any wrinkles and get themselves established. A Greek restaurant is always of interest to us and we couldn’t wait to eat there, we called them around mid June 2023 on a Friday eve to check for availability for a couples table… No answer, we kept trying but nobody answered so we went elsewhere. This happened again the following week so I popped my head in on a Saturday afternoon to see if they were open to which a staff member said that they were.
We tried again in mid July and got a Friday Eve table for 8pm. I took these pics at 8.45pm on a Friday evening.. it was empty apart from another couple, most of the wine was not available from the wine list and the food was well below average for Greek Cuisine.
Nice little tea room/cake n pastries place. Sells a WIDE variety of stuff, and takeaway of you prefer. Good veggie options and really nice bread etc. I had a great sausage and bacon baguette (lovely Herby sausage and nice bacon). Loo is upstairs and hilariously wonky (as in leans) and sticky floored (I think this is a varnish problem though!)
We booked a pre theatre meal and thought it was excellent value at £25 for three courses. The service was efficient and friendly, our pork main course was tender and tasty and the other courses were good.
Been here 3 times over several years. Food is fabulous, staff are efficient and friendly. Everything is spotless. The dog is a complete softie, gorgeous.
Recommended this place whilst visiting Margate for the weekend, we ordered a takeaway for 12 people and we’re not disappointed whatsoever, the ordering process was delightful and the food was delicious. Would recommend Lotus Garden.
Lovely welcome was a good start. Really enjoyed our meal, with typical Italian fare well cooked and presented. Restaurant got busier as evening went so, clearly popular and we can see why, but probably best to book. Felt prices reasonable for quality. Can definitely recommend.
We went as a couple to explore Maidstone and looked for somewhere that did a good cooked breakfast. We were not disappointed!
Everything was delicious.
Staff were very friendly
Food was fresh and fast.
Would definitely recommend to anyone. Kids menus available too as well as lunch menu!
Fyi cash only!!
This wasn't a problem! X
They haven't turned the booking system off despite not being open and are called Da Vin Cheese now. Booked a table for 6pm sat night and completely closed
First time visiting Fuegos after friend’s recommendation, glad to have listened to them. Service from the minute we walked through the door was great, food amazing and great value for money. Staff polite and professional will definitely return in the near future to sample their other dishes
I have visited this cafe once before and the Break was in all honesty ok. However all my good will to them has diminished somewhat. Myself and a friend have tried a couple of times to pop in for breakfast at 10 am when ( as it says on the door it’s open) both times it was closed up and didn’t look like it was about to open . The first time we waited for 15 minutes and it was still closed. The second time the same . Not a good way to run a business by not sticking to your business hours. My friend and I won’t try a third time we’ve gone elsewhere.Shame.
