A great place with friendly helpful staff , who are always super busy , so wait is sometimes required. I never mind as people can only do one thing at a time , and the surroundings are pleasant.Go with a serene attitude and empathy for your fellow man (or woman) who is working flat out for you , and then enjoy your delicious coffee.

I came to Morrisons Basingstoke to buy fresh tilapia from their fish section and decided to pick up one the their cake shop doughnuts. I choose the raspberry flavour but lo and behold when l got home only one doughnut had not enough raspberry jam in it. I opened the second doughnut to find there was no jam in that one which prompted me to open the rest of the doughnut only to find those were empty too. Please Morrisons do not cheat people and sell products that doesn’t correspond to the description. Very disappointed and won’t buy doughnuts from there again as this is the second time it’s happened to that’s why lm prompted to write this review.

Absolutely terrible coffee if you could call it that, out of my large cappuccino I had 1/3 of the cup full of coffee and the rest was foam. And it tasted like the grounds had gone through an incinerator before hand. On top of that they messed mine and 3 other peoples orders up within the space of 10 minutes . Just wow and I didn’t even get my whole order!

Service at Starbucks Gatwick on 13/08/24** Dear Starbucks Gatwick Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received today, 13th August 2024, at your location. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to bring it to your attention. Around 3 PM, after placing my coffee order, I attempted to scan my Starbucks app to earn stars before paying. However, the staff member at the till informed me that I could only earn stars if I also paid through the app. This is incorrect, as the app clearly provides an option to scan for stars and pay separately. Despite my efforts to clarify this, the staff member insisted otherwise. This misunderstanding reflects poorly on the staff's knowledge and training. Additionally, I purchased a bottle of water that was labeled with a price of £2.50. However, I was charged £3.00 by the same staff member. When I pointed out the discrepancy, it was dismissed without any attempt to rectify the situation or acknowledge the error. This not only misleads customers but also undermines the trust we place in your establishment. Given that Starbucks at Gatwick serves a diverse group of travelers, it is crucial that your staff provide efficient and accurate service. I strongly recommend that the staff member at the till be retrained, if not disciplined, to ensure that such issues do not recur. My husband and I stopped for a coffee before going round the gardens after a 2 hour drive up from Dorset. The cafe was not over busy but the complete disorganisation behind the counter was soon causing problems and customers ,including myself ,were being served out of order. When my order was eventually dealt with I was served 2 Americanos when I had ordered 2 Lattes. My scones and butter had been completely forgotten and I had to repeat the order again. Customers were getting so frustrated that they were making suggestions to the staff on how they could better organise themselves. I have to say that when they eventually arrived the coffee and scones were very good.

Overcharging customers that are poorly... The manager is extremely rude and getting her staff to overcharge people £6.15 for a chocolate fudge brownie frappe with an extra shot. At Southampton train station I went in order the same drink and got charged £4.80. Spoke to the manager in there and they said it because it's a franchise. COSTA SHAME. ON YOU RIPPING OFF SICK PEOPLE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!

I have been to Dobbies over many years both when it was Worlds End and since it became Dobbies. It has gone down hill consistently over the years. Today we went to the restaurant for lunch. The lady who served us (who has been there for many years) was kind and efficient. The food was good. The restaurant itself was unclean. The seats are dirty and marked. Table were left with empty used cups and plates, making the room look untidy and grotty. The toilets are absolutely disgusting, untidy, unclean and the walls were marked and unclean. We then went to the inside gift area. Everything was either in the sale or shelves were empty. To top it all, the checkout assistant refused to accept a Scottish £10 note because of a Fraud risk. Absolutely ridiculous, if it says 'Sterling' on the note it must be accepted. I am appalled by the state of the place. I doubt that the owners/ management will even read this or give a jot for my comments but I hope customers will.

AVOID! I went for a coffee with a friend and received a £140 fine! The service was slow and my friend was late. Neither of us realised there was a risk of a fine for using the car park and so for a £16 visit, I am absolutely appalled to receive an agressive letter threatening £140 fine increasing to £170 :( I am a part-time TA I cannot afford this and would NEVER intentionally over stay and risk any sort of fine like this. I SAW NO SIGNS so this is a shock. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CAFE MANAGEMENT so best to just avoid in case this happens to you.

Came to Marks and Spencer for coffee, asked for our tea and tea cakes! They did not have any tea cakes, this happens frequently when going to their cafes. All they say is it’s not available on that day, but it happens frequently!!! I’ve complained for years about this, not having goats or soya milk in the cafe!! They sell it in the shop, so they do have it!!! When toast came it was warm to say the least!!! Also staff were rude, they seemed annoyed we even asked and asked why it happens a lot! We didn’t really get an answer! Also when trying to pay the lady was rude and told me I had to wait, but she was really abrupt!!! Made me feel like I was an inconvenience! If I spoke to my patients like that, I would be warned!!! When we walked to the tables not one was clean, we had sat down for about 10 minutes before they started to clear them!!! Inefficiency at its best!!!

Went to the counter to order, no other customers. There were two servers who were doing their best to pretend not to notice me so they could carry on having a chat. After a minute of this I gave up and left. Quite astonishing. There's also a dank smell near the counter, either a drain or a dirty mop bucket but it was quite off-putting.

Ordered at 8.20pm and food didnt come for two hours However when rang said our food was spilt and they will make it again just as the man pulled Up with no Issues with our food so they lied Then said they would give us food free next time with no way of proving it Delivery left without giving us food after waiting two and a half hours every time its at least a hour /hour and a half not it’s not acceptable
