Absolutely awful. Staff couldn't care less. Whilst waiting to give my order the three staff continued with their private but very loud joking laughter. I'm all for having a laugh at work, but you don't ignore paying customers. Floor and seats dirty. An hour before closing and the main toilets are already closed. Disabled loos have no loo roll in them. Group of customers clearly vaping, and staff allowed it.

I often stop by here for green tea. I like the comfort and attention to dog-friendly service. The staff here are very lovely, kind, considerate, and very welcoming to dogs. I am very impressed. I often come to drink with the dogs. Sometimes I come to drink with my company's customers.

Starbucks is one of my favourite places to go. I usually visit the one near Hailsham. While in Eastbourne I thought it would be nice to try a different store. I have been twice and both times have been a complete letdown. Ordered an almond hot chocolate with peppermint syrup (much to the dismay of my mint chocolate disliking partner) and a couple other drinks for the people I was with. When the drinks were served we weren't told which one was which. My hot chocolate barely tasted of peppermint. On the second visit there was no peppermint syrup at all and again we weren't told which drink was which. Mine was actually spilt down the side. The almond biscoff latte was full of little bits. Both times the staff seemed un-bothered about their jobs or their customers. Rest assured I shall be sticking with my local starbucks where the staff are friendly and we never have an issue with our drinks

As usual really slow service at this Starbucks but also delayed by member of staff dropping/spilling drinks and another member of staff almost throwing the coffee at me in a very dismissive manner. Such a shame, always great service at Hickstead Starbucks.

Called in drakehouse ,only went in because there wasn’t a costa,.coffee ok but what on Earth is in their five cheese toastie,it’s was awful ,something inside that resembled a newborn nappy ,tasteless and the most unappetising thing I’ve ever seen,couldn’t eat it,don’t think it had seen any cheese,like wallpaper paste,ugh!

I ordered a banana split here as I had one previously at another store made exactly as advertised. All I can say is after the staff finished sharing blenders between then without washing them in between, throwing milk and kitchen roll around I was left with a drink that was nothing more then a watered down chocolate milkshake and banana syrup Won't be returning

Given the current Covid rules about mask wearing I was a little disappointed to be served by a chap who has obviously perfected breathing without using his nostrils as they weren't covered, but the major gripe was a young lad on the staff who had a mask under his chin and nowhere near his mouth and nose, his trousers considerably below his waist, thereby exposing 5 - 6 inches of his boxer shorts, and then I witnessed him wipe his mouth and face with his hands before going straight back behind the counter having made no effort to wash his hands. I would consider that extremely unhygienic at the best of times but in the current climate it is unexcusable. To top it off my drink was no more than luke warm and certainly calling it 'hot' chocolate was a misnomer!

The Starbucks I’ve been to in London are super quick and well organised, the queues are constant there but they all work together. This store was quite different, I think they had someone inexperienced on the till so I thought I’d show some understanding but all of them were incredibly slow, a number of people waiting quite a while for their drinks. I think the manager should pay a visit to the Starbucks in London Victoria station to see how it should be done

Visited today and the tables were dirty And her uninviting, 3 members of staff behind the counter were slow and obviously inexperienced. I asked for their advertised chocolate smors drink but asked for no marshmallows, I was serve cold milk with chocolate sauce, when I asked why it wasn’t like the picture I was told because the picture has coffee in it... ok why hasn’t mine got coffee in it? And was told because i didn’t want marshmallows! They then remade it by filling the cup with just squirty cream and tipped a bit of cold Coffee and then squirted more cream, When I said it wasn’t nice I was asked if I’d visited Starbucks regularly and not what was wrong with the drink, as it happened to be my first (and now last) visit The that particular branch I replied no and that I just wanted a refund as this had taken way too long already and I didn’t have the energy to wait for a 3rd drink to be made by moody staff, I was told they didn’t know how to do a refund and had to wait for them to call the manager! Finally got the refund and went round the corner to Costa and got a lovely cold coffee with excellent service! I won’t be going back!

This Starbucks lacks atmosphere and the tables are not laid out very well. The coffee however is to the same Starbucks standard. Will visit if all of the other smaller, more intimate coffee shops are full.

Need more staff or staff to move with some urgency. Saturday afternoon and not packed still the tables have cups and wrappers on them. Not pleasant. The coffee announcement is quiet and the attitude of I don’t want to be here from staff. I like Starbucks but this is a shining example of should have gone to Costa !

Visitamos un sábado por la tarde a eso de las 4 de la tarde y estábamos molestos por el estado del lugar. Mientras hacíamos cola, examinamos dónde estar sentados y de las 20 opciones de la mesa, 5 estaban ocupadas, y de las 15 que quedaban, solo dos no tenían tazas vacías y el desorden de los clientes anteriores. Los dos jóvenes detrás del mostrador estaban ocupados, pero había un empleado de Starbucks que presumimos que en cualquier momento comenzaría a limpiar las mesas. Nos sentamos allí durante 40 minutos (habíamos terminado nuestro café en 15 minutos pero estábamos tan horrorizados por el comportamiento de esta joven empleada que observamos).Pasó 20 minutos reorganizando la selección de sándwich en la enfriadora, en un momento en el que ya no pudo embestir más, así que simplemente los barajó en el contenedor en el piso. Obviamente, ella era consciente del desorden completo en el que estaban las mesas y los pisos, pero decidió no hacer absolutamente nada. La cola era muy larga y observamos cómo entraban los clientes, no vimos mesas claras y nos fuimos. Tres clientes iban y venían en el momento en que nos sentamos allí debido al estado del lugar. Se ocupó un poco más de la situación del enfriador y luego desapareció por la parte trasera, donde supusimos que buscaría un paño y una escoba y despejaría un poco el desorden. Regresó con el teléfono móvil pegado a la oreja y reorganizó las patatas fritas durante unos minutos. Un cliente se le acercó y ella se colocó detrás del mostrador; de nuevo, supusimos que buscábamos algunos materiales de limpieza; volvió con una muestra de una bebida para que la probara el cliente.No se despejó una mesa en todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí, el lugar era asqueroso. Luego fue detrás del mostrador para ayudar a los otros dos empleados que, mientras estaban ocupados, estaban manejando muy bien y podrían haberlo hecho sin su ayuda (simplemente estaba llamando a los pedidos de la gente y entregándoles bebidas). En los 40 minutos que estuvimos allí, la cesta de los sándwiches con los que no había estado haciendo nada estaba en el suelo. Antes de irnos, utilicé los baños y había tres tazas vacías para llevar, dos en el suelo y una en el fregadero. A very strange branch of Starbucks. It's like a warehouse inside, sort of empty, sterile and uninviting. Had my usual Starbucks drink, a white chocolate mocha. It tasted nothing like usual. We won't be back to this branch I'm afraid.

Qué desorden. Los asientos y las mesas estaban sucias. . . y había cinco empleados trabajando detrás del mostrador. We've visited this Starbucks quite a few times in the last year for takeaway drinks and have always received good service. The queue moves quite quickly compared to other coffee establishments, the order is taken efficiently and we don't have to wait long for our drinks. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Always seems clean when we visit, even though it's often busy.

Visited the new Starbucks on Saturday morning which has relocated to the outside of the Arndale Centre . The outside-looked good but when we went in tables were full of mess with the staff not bothering to clear away , it wasn’t busy but staff were to busy talking behind the counter having more of a social time than working ! Went to the 'new' Starbucks that has been relocated from inside the Arndale to the outside. First impressions on entering were sparse and unwelcoming, (really think they have got the decor and layout very wrong). Ordered some food and coffees and paid.... waited at the drinks collection point and after a while, the food arrived.... no drinks... my wife went to find a clean table, plenty of tables around, but, not a clean one in sight.... still waiting for drinks.... one customer collected his order having arrived after me. .... waited... two more collected their drinks again having arrived after me.....! Fed up and asked where my order was just as my wife returned to say that there were no clean tables....! Food was going cold and patience had worn out as they still could not sort out my drinks.....! Said to staff that we were not happy and wanted a refund which they struggled with but gave back in cash... we then left and had perfect service and food at Neros.

Had an impromptu coffee after waxing the car, any excuse. The person making the coffee had to check what I was having, as he had trouble deciphering the writing, and as I had a stick, he told me to take a seat, and he would bring it to me when finished. Old fashioned service, and kindness.

Visited today on a wet Sunday afternoon. It has moved from in the Arnadale centre to outside. It is done out very nicely. I arrived at 3pm and they were due to close at 4pm I asked for a small filter coffee and was told the machine had been shut down for cleaning. I was offered an Americano for the same price. It was an hour before closing and having worked in a coffee shop for a year and a half a filter machine does not take an hour to clean.

I was one of the first people in this place this morning and the place was covered in crumbs and spills and splatters. Coffee was delicious as usual for a Starbucks but I drank up quick as every surface was disgusting. Even if it was the end of the day this level of cleanliness would be unacceptable.

Nice coffee and a smile to start the day. So much easier to arrive early and miss the rush of foreign students. The staff exercise great patience with some of the questions, from customers. Comfortable bench seat, which seems to fill up first.

I regularly visit Starbucks in Eastbourne with both my family & my best friend. It can get very busy however the staff are always very helpful & friendly. Indeed they've often started making my drink whilst I'm in the queue I'm that predictable. The coffee is well made & of a good quality. I do use the app which always ensures I don't have to muck around with cash or the chip & pin. If you use the app & are buying multiple drinks & with the queue allowing I pay for the drinks separately as it adds the "stars" on per transaction. So if for example you buy 4 drinks in one go it's only 1 star added but separately 4 stars. Every 15 you get a free drink.

After using Starbucks in Eastbourne for a while for convenience whilst shopping I was appalled when I was told by a rude and unpleasant regular I could not sit in that chair because that was HER chair. I questioned the staff about this because I had purchased my food and drink and she hadn't all I got told was she was a regular and I wasn't which was grossly unfair. completely appalled by the attitude of the staff member I asked.

Our second home. Always enjoy our 'Buckies' at the weekend or when on holiday. Staff a superb in Eastbourne, being very attentive, efficient, communicative and great barristas. The coffee shop itself is looking tired but we are hoping that this will be refurbished with the new Arndale Centre. Love you all team Starbucks Eastbourne ❤

I visited here today and I have to say in terms of staff it's one of the best Starbucks I've visited. I was served by someone named Matty and he was really friendly and also suggested I try the new chocolate chip creme, which I went for. I was not disappointed! There were two young girls also working who kept themselves busy the whole time and all three seemed to get on well and worked great together. A very pleasant experience and I will definitely visit more regularly.

Your usual Starbucks experience here. Busy on a Saturday. Furniture not set out brilliantly, but nothing in life is perfect! They serve soya milk, which is helpful for me. No spoons to measure your sugar, which I always find odd.

A very well made cappuccino, my wife is always impressed with their coconut milk latte - a nice change from having soya. The restaurant is shabby and in need of a makeover. It's a convenient location if you're shopping in town and want a quick cuppa or takeout; but I wouldn't go out your way if you are in need of a calm and relaxing atmosphere; it lacks this much.

Fui aquí por primera vez recientemente y tengo que decir que no tengo motivos para volver. El servicio era terriblemente lento, las bebidas exorbitantes, pegado al bar asqueroso, mesas no despejadas, personal antipático y aseos eran desagradables. A pesar de esto, el lugar siempre está lleno los fines de semana, así que supongo que estoy solo, ¡pero mucho mejor en otro lado!

Basic breakfast. Cheap sausages, cheap eggs, and cheap bacon. Not much flavour to the food, thank goodness for packets of HP sauce that turned it tasty. Coffee and hot chocolate were good and a decent size in large.

Myself and my colleague were presenting a very important proposal to our clients and chose a fairly well presented venue for lunch. Upon entering we were subjected to a hostile vocal exchange between the two female bar staff. It became clear that one of the females involved in the altrication was in fact the license holder and manager Obviously we adjourned our business arrangement to a more agreeable venue and have made a formal complaint to the council and looking forward to New management
