Wow, for 1st time, my HOT sausage roll was Not hot, my Ultimates breakfast roll also was not Hot, what happened guys, 😳🤯

The coffee leaked and exploded all over my front door step.

Not happy with the Bike Rider as he put X2 Lattes under his seat storage as opposed to the Huge bag on his back!

Food was lovely, the ❤ perks me up, 😍

What can I say, I'm so happy with the consistency of qaulity from this establishment from the Breakfast rolls to the delicious Lattes, which from time to time get special treatment from staff with personal Heart signs which make them even better, a little can go a long way. Qaulity not quantity is the making of a great business and TGC have it, so grats on your standards, may them bring you great reward in gratitude, luv u guys bye 4 now, 🤩

I come in most mornings before work to do some bits on my own projects. Staff are always lovely, polite, and professional. The space and environment is clean, well lit, and cosy. Personally this is my favourite coffee shop in Eastbourne.

Whenever coming into this coffee shop. I always feel welcomed as soon as I walk in. The staff are efficient and always making the best coffee’s. The manager Macy always smiling and always making time for the customers and asking them how their day is. Definitely the best coffee shop.

Amazing staff, lovely service, quick service, it always clean and tidy and a chilled environment and overall a great place to be ☺️

Flat white was all milk, and they got my food order wrong. Such a shame to have poor service in an independent coffee shop.

the lid was not done up on the coffee properly so it had leaked all inside the paper bag and spilled all over my table

Very busy place, even early morning. Friendly staff. Outside seating available. Still go there 3 times a week, sometimes more. Easy to meet people there.

The regularity of great coffee and service is why I keep buying the Lattes, both tasty and hot, 😊

Amazing tall coffee, finally enough big for me 😆 love the cakes as well. Stuff is very polite. Will come back soon.😊 I visited this Cafe after one month and was a bit disappointed. I always go here because of their tall coffee. Today I was desperate to have coffee so I ordered as always a tall latte with almond milk and sirup. When she was giving me coffee, I thought that it looks like medium so i asked her, if it is tall and she said yes. However when I looked at other people, they had bigger mugs than me. So I asked again and she said it is medium, because you ordered medium. I always order only tall, it is a main reason I go to this cafe. I understand if someone makes mistake, but she could apologise.

1 pack of 2 Lattes had a little spillage, maybe a new lid design could be better otherwise they were delicious 😋

A new town , a new find- an independently run coffee shop in Eastbourne. Well-lit, elegantly decorated and most importantly serving nice blend of coffee and various other drinks. My first but definitely not a last visit here. .

Macy is the hardest most dedicated worker ive seen in years honestly i would highly recommend going there to see her pearly whites , she definitely needs a pay rise, her energy towards people is outstanding, her personality is bubbly and amazing. Highly recommend this place. 5 stars from me

Amazing coffee and friendly staff

Shame I can’t give it 5 stars, personally I would but I’ve introduced many people to this lovely cafe, however they have all complained the music is always Too loud! and go back to the other coffee establishment where music is rightfully played as a background. The service here is friendly and efficient, plenty of comfy seats inside and out on the large terrace, place is kept clean, coffee and food good and reasonable price, there is only one loo for all which is the other gripe from my guests. Personally I will keep trying to convert them but please please keep the music in the background.

Eastbourne branch on a quiet Sunday. Staff really quite unenthusiastic and selection of sandwiches very poor. I opted for a goats cheese toastie. This was Pre packed and placed in an oven/grill for 1m 43 seconds. It seemingly cooked on one side and the centre uncooked. The Bottom was just warmed soggy bread. It tasted incredibly bland. I don’t get the feeling anyone cares here about presentation (the tables outside were filthy). I may as well have given £5 to a homeless person to get something nice elsewhere, the sandwich was dire. Remeber is was Sunday that awful sandwich had a Tuesday label on it. I dread to think how bad that Would have been three days later!

Coffee was perfect . Made just how we like it.

Friendly staff good coffee and ideal for people watching

When I walk into this cafe I am overcome by such calmness. The food tastes great and the decaf cappuccinos are the best. If you want the best cheese and tomato panini macey is the best at making those. In fact macey interacts with customers really well. The staff certainly do give you a service with a smile.

Really happy with the variety and portions. Only thing I felt a little negative about was the bubble tea straw not being sealed, though I can respect it is perhaps an environmentally aware decision to not provide plastic-encased plastics. That aside, all yummy everything, and I would recommend and order again.

Having a coffee from Tall Guy is often the highlight of my day. The staff are friendly and service is fast. You can taste the quality in the coffee compared to other ‘chain’ places so it always feels like a treat. I thoroughly recommend their Cinnamon Swirl coffee which is the best drink ever and so glad it remained on the menu after being rebranded from Coffee Republic last year.

Tall guy coffee is my favourite coffee shop in eastbourne.the coffee tastes amazing and the customer service is brilliant. The girls especially macy always make me feel so welcome.she always goes above and beyond for me

I just wanted to say, WOW! This coffee shop is absolutely amazing! The staff, especially Macy, were incredibly polite and made my experience even better. Macy is definitely an asset to the company. Best place in Eastbourne to relax have a cuppa and good food. Staff always have a chat and are very polite so if you ain't been do so soon 💗

I've been dining here for 4 years and always enjoy it

Ordered takeaway from here via ubereats. I get that it was a busy Saturday morning, but it took over an hour for 2 panini's and a coffee. The poor ubereats delivery person had to go back to get the coffee as they forgot it, then it was packaged badly so she had to go to another restaurant to ask for a bag, as the coffee was spilling in her delivery bag. My panini was untoasted and covered in coffee, but it tasted ok. The coffee was great though, I'd go here for a coffee again but not food or take out.

While service was great, my daughter left an item in the cafe and trying to phone to ask if it had been handed in , is shocking..... Spent an hour trying to get through and no answer.

Fantastic food and drinks, my personal favorites being the oat milk cappuccino and waffles with cream for my daughter! Theres a good variety of hot and cold drinks and hot and cold food, from pastries to toasted sandwiches and baguettes. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful, whats more, its a local, independent coffee shop!

Tall Guy is just a very high quality place! Everything was so beautifully cooked and hot. Coffee is delicious, nice and hot. Staff are really nice and good with their customers too. Been looking for a decent cafe since moving here and finally found it! Thanks. I'll be back.

I often drink coffee and it is delicious I just wanted to share with you my opinion on the food . I recently ordered an oreo coffee muffin 🥧 The cupcake when it stood behind the glass looked perfect😻 but when i try there and I have to say that it was the worst muffin I have ever had in my life 🤮 hard as stone, totally tasteless, after trying this muffin for half a day my stomach hurt🤕 The cupcake tasted as if it had been there for a month, and I must add that the price was not small for such a thing.🤢

Staff allow people to eat food on their premised from other food outlets without asking them to purchase something from tall guy or move on

Great coffee but it did leak quite a bit in the bag. Breakfast roll seemed to lack sauce but still tasted good.

The coffee was pretty tasteless; the toasted sandwich was barely warm, the cheese unmelted and the bread soggy; the panini was warm but again the cheese.was unmelted and only the cut ends of the panini bore witness to a toaster having been used; the icing on the cinnamon buns came away on the paper bags. The bakewell tart was apparently very nice and my husband enjoyed it when he got home from work

Visited Coffee Republic the other day and had a lovely flavored latte and a panini. The staff as always were very friendly and polite. Even offered to take the guys order behind me to his table as they saw he had a walking stick. Bumped into a friend and had a good catch up. Tables were pretty clean with no orders just left.

We visited on a Sunday morning, it was quiet and we got served pretty quick. We ordered s cappucino and hot chocolate that were both served in large mugs . Both drinks were barely warm and the spoons they gave us were dirty. The staff were ok.

I visited this coffee shop with my elderly mother and the young girl behind the counter treated up with contempt and derision. Will never visit this place again. Terrible service.

It was cold , ordered 2 paninis with extra tomatoes, cheese and one with extra onions. No label to say which had extra onions. Not sure how there was extra tomato when there was only one slice , couldn’t work out which had extra onion as couldn’t taste /see it in either one.

the staff are incredibly rude and bitchy they huddle up gossiping and make it seem like a huge effort to make you a coffee The toilets are filthy. used to be good, loved there coffees but has gone downhill.

When all you need to do is take a break, look after yourself, then look no further than here. I regularly visit, as I am guaranteed of feeling welcome, a friendly atmosphere and treated as a person not a statistic. It is very easy in society these days to criticise and we forget to compliment when things are good. There are many other similar shops to choose from, though being kind and caring for people is priceless and this is what makes the product, service and staff in Coffee Republic genuinely the best in town. I have always walked out happier than when I have walked in! A much deserved thank you and keep up the great work!

Way too expensive for what it is!

I’ve ordered several times from here now. Everything always arrives hot and the cookies are incredible. Definitely recommend.

My favourite coffee place in Eastbourne. Their coffee tastes strong and beautiful as coffee should, so many places we've been to it tastes like hot brown milk in a cup, Coffee Republic has 5 stars from us. The staff are all professional and polite, especially the manager Chris. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and many regulars which tells me people are of the same opinion as us, which is theres no point going anywhere else in town !

On of the friendliest, cosy, lovely and accommodating places to have a nice cuppa. I will be coming back weekends. Perfect relaxing spot to visit. The best breakfast with egg and bacon baguette, coffee, hot chocolate and beat mint tea ever. You can even bring your laptop and do some work.

Excellent coffee and very pleasant staff. Helpful and once they get to know you as a regular customer, they are very organised in the service.

Ordered a Brie and cranberry panini. Got half a baguette with cranberry sauce in. And a sliver of Brie in one end?! £5 for that too. I’ve ordered the exact same item before a few times and it’s never a baguette it’s usually a panini filled with Brie and cranberry. Not a cranberry sauce filled baguette. That’s not a Brie and cranberry panini 🤦🏼‍♀️

What a wonderful place, warm and welcoming! You can stay or take away upto you. The staff are well trained and friendly. A good place to meet friends or just relax after shopping. We had an English tea, spiced chai latte and croissants. My spiced chai latte was so so brilliant 👏 But the reason for my 3 star review is this place need a good scrub. The fabric chairs were so bleak and sticky. The tray looked like it has not been washed for ages! Not impressed just because of your hygiene. Rest is so good and I wonder why they don't take care of this even after getting same reviews as mine.
