Staff behind bar rude and aggressive . Glasses dirty and this put us off eating there . Toilets also foul.

Went in to watch the football and managed to get a roast for me and my 3 mates, the food was all fresh and homemade, deserts were amazing! Great pub, food and service

Never used the pub under the old management due to its reputation, went in on Sunday as 4 adults and 2 children we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, you can tell it’s all cooked fresh as it doesn’t come out burning hot within seconds fresh from a microwave like most pubs now, massive portions mind! And “Jenni’s” deserts were outstanding! Between us we had banoffee pie & strawberry cheesecake and you could tell they were homemade and delicious! The kids had ice cream with toppings and it was included in the price of their meals at only £5! We’ve booked our table for my uncles birthday, well done to the new owners and chef

Nothing special was not cooked fresh and bar lady quite rude had to wait ages and definitely wasn't worth it over priced

Popped in for an early lunch last week. Polite staff, good food, reasonable prices and ample portions. Quite a large car park to the side.

I can honestly say I've never been to a public house before where the landlord was so far up his own rear end. Rude owner rude staff and a horrible experience . Steer clear

I like this tavern, it's large and spacious with affordable beer and a decent pool table. I recommend going in the summer, when you can enjoy the outside beer garden.

Awesome chilli, the best I've tasted for a long while! Bar staff are all very friendly, and there is always plenty of sport available. Would highly recommend to all!!!!

Pasó por aquí hoy después de terminar temprano y un par de copas antes de encontrarse con mi pareja.

Normalmente no había sido buena, pero en un rato, así que decidimos dieron por mi cumpleaños de papá. Triste decir que revive el piso no era lento estaba por debajo de la media y la experiencia que acababa era utilizada para poder conseguir en su. Buen pub no recomendaría comer allí ya.

Patatas fritas frías; gambas y guisantes que hizo que las balas bueno, el sobresaliente estaba fría lonchas de jamón! Curry, platos fríos grasienta y mesas sucias, volvimos después de nuestra visita el año pasado para ver si las cosas habían mejorado, y no tenía. Cuando reservamos, nos dijeron que "podría ser exprimido en "No sé cómo, sólo había seis de nosotros en todo el restaurante y ruidoso T. V, s el pub tenía también acabaron fomenta! Ninguno de nuestros amigos o familia volvería de nuevo!

I visited this pub with my work colleagues after a staff meeting-great sandwiches-tasty & well presented. Friendly staff too.

Located somewhat away from the seafront in the town, this is a typical local pub. Roomy clean bar area. Friendly staff. Food is alright. Limited selection of Real ales.

Fuimos a comer con la familia en un sábado por la noche (12.12.15 ) fue £20 por 3 platos y ya lo que queríamos del menú con antelación. Todo era un desastre y la mayoría de nuestras comidas salió mal. La comida era asquerosa y parcialmente quemada. No me molestaría a comer. Otra persona conmigo ni siquiera se había terminado el aperitivo antes de su comida principal era plonked delante de ella sin ni siquiera ser le preguntó si estaba preparado para eso. Nos sentimos presionados y en general, el servicio era espantosa. No recomendaría cualquiera ir aquí!! pérdida de dinero!

Un gran lugar para ir, apto para toda la familia, los dueños son muy amables y acogedores. Todas las comidas son deliciosas y una buena relación calidad-precio. Las salas de reuniones están también disponibles. Sin duda lo recomiendo!

Recently visited the pub, Food overpriced compared to other pubs. Paying a premium for drinks and food to eat in the restaurant. I feel the Landlord/landlady should take time out and visit other pubs that do food etc to see how they do it, Small things like a itemised bill on a small tray or plate with a mint or sweet,and not a till roll. Keeping people out of the room if they are not eating, as the bar is slightly cheaper. Also for customer's to be given more information on if there is football on in the bar or party events etc and then the customer has a choice of whether to dine out there. Nothing worse when people are too loud, not dining, and its hard to have a conversation and relax and enjoy your food and come the end of the day your paying a premium for it.

Eat here on Sunday with a group of work colleagues. We all pre ordered our 3 course meals. Service was good and the food was outstanding. Bit noisy though and we had to keep shutting the door to the bar.

Wide menu choice, they even take taste cards as long as the meal is not in a deal already. Warm friendly atmosphere, very welcoming.

The owner was a very friendly chap with good sence of humour food was excellent and good value for money the band was superb and great entertainment all in a smashing evening I would certainly go back there when in the area

Visited for a Sunday lunch. The restaurant was pretty quiet which almost put us off but the food was good value and served exactly as we wanted them (medium steaks medium, rare was rare). Service was unhurried but that suited us. I would definitely eat at the St Lawrence again.

Went for mid week roast dinner today with a friend at St Lawrence Tavern. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. Had the mid week roast pork dinner which was very nice indeed. Will definately be visiting again.

We visited this after finding it with our Taste card. We had starters and mains and we felt all the food was well cooked, nicely presented and tasty. If this was local to us we would return.

The meal took ages to arrive, andwas barely warm when we got it. It resembed a glutinus mess .drinks helped to wash it down but they were over-priced in comparison to other pubs. Atmsphere was friendly, but the loud TV in the next bar was distrcting, along with the chef who didn, t hink hisfood was less than perfection.not worth another visit I m afraid.

It serves a limited range of 'Real' Ales but the staff make you feel welcome and it's clean and comfortable.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere a clean place but the food is a little pricey for what it is and the drinks are extremely over priced!!

We had our first Christmas dinner away from home .all the food was presented very well,every thing we all eat was very nice,tasty .The sevice was exellent ,the staff were a credit,the way they timed all the dinners. at the end of our meal we were full up we be back

Nice pleasant place to have a meal and a drink. The staff are all friendly and the food was nice and there was loads of it.So would recommend it.

We visited this restaurant on my sons birthday with our parents. What a disapointment!! This is our local restaurant but the food was awful. The steak wasn't really cooked how we asked for,and they were all different sizes and thickness'. One of our group had gammon steak which she said was VERY salty and chewy. The 'home cooked' wedges were so crunchy and over cooked, none of us could finish them!!(there was 8 of us). As for desert, we were asked what we wanted but had no deserts menu so had to ask what the choices were- Ice cream sundae,Toffe apple crumble, or pear and plum tart.....thats it!! Ice cream was the best option as the others had luke warm,watered down custard& was heated in the microwave! Stodgy & stuck to bottom of dish!--- However i notice its now under new management!! Fingers crossed!!
