I’m a severe asthmatic, sent my husband to collect a hose from Argos in the Sainsburys store. Staff say only one que outside, he won’t queue because of risk to me. He doesn’t want any shopping from Sainsburys just to pick up Argos hose and medicine from Lyods. Very unfair, cannot pick either up.

I had a severe hypoglaecemic attack while shopping here. The staff were amazing. I have always had a high opinion of Sainsburys but Tadley exceeds all expectations.

I just wanted to say that I visited your pharmacy today and the lady called Sue was so friendly & helpful. Shes a true assest to your store as some staff are quite the opposite and I really want to ask them why they work there

Sainsbury’s Tadley store is my local shop of any size. I am seeing a significant reduction in both the performance of the store as a shop and as a cafe, combined with a car park which is more intent on providing a car wash, than a well functioning parking facility. On my visit today, the newspaper section had chosen to display my newspaper choice upside down and back to front, a number of items in the shop, particularly in the greengrocery section, were mispriced or not priced at all, the gents toilet was, again, only half lit and smelled terribly of urine. The cafe was poorly stocked and there are never enough staff to give a proper service there at key times. Strangely the cafe staff seem to take their break when they are most needed. I could gone further and will do if asked. A saving grace is the setting up of the Argos section which always works wellI note that Lidl are hoping to build nearby. It may well be just the trigger that the Sainsbury store needs to up its game, something is obviously needed to do that.

It’s a good shop with a good cafe, except the food is way overpriced and the milkshakes are cocoa powder with milk and they manage to charge £2.60 for it. The hygiene behind the meat & fish counters is sub-par, too. And I think at one point a staff member was in the chicken rotisserie oven.

Went Argos inside Sainsburys to collect, did a shop in store while we were there, products/produce of an excellent quality, staff were great, friendly and helpful, couldn't wish for better.

Clearly given its size it cannot stock many of the items that its relatively nearby big sister savacentre does however, it seems to stock a lot of similar items rather than extend the range of options instead. Shelf stackers often block off aisles and generally do not seem bothered with answering difficult questions like where stuff was or, was there more stock not yet on the shelf. Used to discount end of date foodstuffs quite considerably but these days laughable amounts are deducted to save Sainsbury every penny obv. Recent BIG improvements in Veggie and Vegan options welcomed and the addition of Argos was a big boon locally however, this store is going to suffer big time when Lidl moves in down the road. Yes it has stuff that Lidl do not do but this sainsburys could never be descibed as cheap compared even to those in bigger towns. Should of been a lot better by now to be honest.

I often shop at Sainsbury but on a recent visit thought my wife and I would have a coffee, tea and cake. Never again until some improvement is made. The cups were stained badly, teapot was chipped and the coffee was not as strong as dishwater. The cake we had had been out all day or more and was stale. In future I will visit the Cafe Retreat on the other side of road!!

The shop itself is quite small for a proper Sainsbury's. It quite often doesn't have enough stock and when it does it often has a short sell by date. The car park is just about big enough for busy periods. There's no phone signal inside which is a massive issue however they do have free WiFi. They regularly have car wash men in the car park too.

After being overwhelmed by Morrisons Cafeteria, I took the plunge and tried Sainsbury's Taldley Cafe. I wish I hadn't. The service was dire, at best. The staff were as helpful as a dose of flu. We ordered the beef and ale pie. BIG MISTAKE. When it eventually arrived, it was woefully over done, dry with one small piece of what may have been beef, at some point. The rest of the contents were a soggy mush. The mash was terrible, and tasted like cheap powdered potato. The gravy was minimal and there were no peas, at all. So, a dry barren over cooked pie, mash that was awful and of poor quality, with a little gravy, Sainsbury's you should be ashamed. The Sainsbury's tea was flavourless and capped off a truly bad experience.

Has to be the worst supermarket in Basingstoke. So far this year, overcharged on roll back prices with full price several times over several weeks. Overcharged with their buy 2 for the price of 3 scam and got charged full price for all 3 items. Staff on customer service desk aware of this for over a week and nothing done. Purchased a couple of items, 1 of them a canned goods just over 4 months out of date. Not the first time I've seen out of date produce on display. The last 3 weeks on the trot, absolutely rotten veg on display. Complained to head office...not interested. Apparently the manager says there are no issues so nothing to pursue. Asda as a supposed supermarket is a local disgrace and they wonder why their market share is dropping. Did I mention the lack of staffed checkouts at busy times...

Visiting from abroad, was delighted by the professional service. The Mocca we ordered passed the spoon test. Was so smooth Id let my daughter date it. Ive got nearly a decade in the coffee industry, hands down the best one ive ever tasted. Eggs Royale, perfect eggs. Made me write this review I was so delighted. Only thing I can suggest is that they get a salt and pepper shaker! -Rick
