The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Five of us went here for a coffee and a cake. We had cinnamon buns and a chocolate muffin with flat white coffee’s and a caramel frappacino all of which were good.

Started off OK, although the Cafe didn't even last till Covid. Stuff moves position weekly, and the variety of food on offer has been slashed. Plenty of options if you want curry - there's an entire aisle. If you want corned beef hash and a rice pudding you've no hope. This place seriously needs a visit from a Gordon Ramsey type. Plenty of better, cheaper places to go in town. Even Waitrose is better than this.

Terrible coffee - weak and dirty spoons

With big chains nearby it is easy to overlook this little place, but please don’t! It has a lovely atmosphere and a good selection of lunchtime foods and plenty of different drinks. Every one of our party was able to try a different flavour milkshake!

We ordered gammon, rump steak, 2 x kids pasta meal deal. Gammon was tasty but the chips were awful so never ate any of them. The rump steak was so chewy I could hardly cut it with the steak knife, peas were awful, sweet potato fries were lovely though. The kids meals were the biggest disappointment, the pasta came and it was swimming in water, there was no flavour at all. My 2 children refused to eat it and they aren’t picky eaters at all, it would have been nicer if a tin of chopped tomatoes had just been mixed in. Kids enjoyed their waffles for pudding. Non alcoholic wine was awful too. We were hoping for a better meal as the pub was so busy! We were planning on having breakfast here but I couldn’t bring myself to go back! Never ever again! On a positive note, the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Edie was training as waitress and was lovely! So well mannered, polite and knowledgable. She checked to ensure our drinks were full and everything was correct with our order. The food was quick and everything was as requested! Thank you and good luck with the rest of your training x

Steph and the team Jo, Jackie , Natasha etc are always very helpful. My son has been using this opticians now for 3 years nearly and we have always had fantastic service. I always recommend this opticians. It's not as chaotic as Specsavers. Always get the best advice. Would definitely recommend. Thank you everyone who works there.

Meal was okay, over cooked potato’s but the issue was, the waitress tried to take our plates when we were still eating, then 50 mins after being first seated and still with full glasses of drinks we were asked to leave as they wanted the table for a couple. The manager did say please but it was a passive aggressive request, that we felt we had better not challenge. No puddings for us!

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else! The food was overpriced and underwhelming. As for the service, it can be best described as appalling.

Only three of the self-service order units were initially working; they were amazingly slow; the 20 people waiting, staff still refused to use the cash till for orders as it made the ordering difficult for the kitchen; it was a simple cup of tea. It is faster to use the Tesco cafe next door.

Netley Grange closed. It reopened as The Dancing Goose. But that has also now closed. There are plans in place to knock it down and build houses, with a smaller pub to be called Woodies Wine Bar

Good staff and very good service.. We came down today at 12pm to find out that this place is closed but quiet clearly on the website it's saying it is open been coming here for a while now but my views are going to be start changing soon....

In a good location. This cafe is OK for a quick cup of coffee and a simple bite to eat nothing more. Very average but it does have outside seating which is the only bonus.

Visited today, third time since December and want to say what an enjoyable experience it was. Coffee, cold drinks and food well presented and enjoyable. The best thing about this place are the staff. They are efficient and timely with the drinks but are also so friendly and welcoming; it almost doesn’t feel like a Costa but a friendly local coffee shop. Thanks all.

Dirty, had to ask staff to clean the table, which was done with a used cloth and without spray. Toilets appalling. Never again.
