Starbucks in Guildford

Five of us went here for a coffee and a cake. We had cinnamon buns and a chocolate muffin with flat white coffee’s and a caramel frappacino all of which were good.

Coffee always as good as usual here but as a regular user for after swimming there are a few things not keen on here. The layout is dreadful and feels very sterile - even the patio in warmer weather is just a random collection of a few seats. There is rarely porridge left at 9.30 ish which seems odd for a fitness centre. Some staff are quite pedantic about whether can take crockery outside - others don’t ask - good to be clear on what rules are please. Finally floors not clean. Two other coffee shops the Bench next door and the student coffee shop across the rugby pitch both of which give a warm welcome

Putting date and time as idiot serving should be fired - 7pm - Thursday 17th Jan. asked for medium decaf cappuccino. Did not want to serve it in a China cup and had to insist. Suspect it was because they were closing in an hour & he did not want to wash up!! Then wanted to do me a small!! NO - medium !! Then when checked if it was decaf the guy swore and threw it away because he got it wrong. I don’t have to listen to idiots like that - if you don’t want to do the job, DONT !! Woman also there, seemed nonplussed. Said just ignore him and did not take him to task. REALLY? Appalling service.

I went here for a business meeting. I didn't realise the Starbucks was inside the lesiure centre!! It's your standard service I guess. I ordered a carmal latte and was their usual high standards! It's obviously very busy but we didn't have to wait too long for Our coffees to arrive. If you're looking to come in to relax or meet someone for business then it's a fine place. 3 hours free parking too.

Absolutely appalled by the customer service. Ordered my son a bacon roll, paid and sat down to wait for it to be heated. I went back to the counter about 10 minutes later to ask where it was and it was sat on the counter. I was told that someone had been calling out 'all day breakfast roll' for five minutes and it had not been claimed. When I said that I hadn't ordered an all day breakfast roll but a bacon roll I was told very rudely that that is what they call them.When I enquired how I was supposed to know to listen out for something completely different and why didn't they call it by the exact name on the wrapper of the item I purchased was told again that that is what they call them like I was some kind of idiot for not knowing. She then had the nerve to offer to re-heat it rather than supply a fresh one.Customer service is dead in Surrey Sports Park Starbucks. Bring your thick skin and crystal ball............

Great place to meet friends. Relax after gym activities. Good coffee and lots of choice for everyone

i visited Starbucks last week with my daughter. we ordered a regular tea and raspberry blend. the milk station was dirty - sugar spilt everywhere and no milk, so had to go and ask for it to be refilled. The tea tasted strange and the raspberry blend tasted of nothing. Couldn't throw our cups away as the bin was overflowing, with Banana skins hanging over the edge. Didn't finish our drinks and left. Went back about 20 minutes later as needed some where to sit down. Went back to the same table where our same drinks were still sitting there.Appreciate that it is was a Saturday and probably the busiest day of the week, but surely Starbucks make enough money in this country to pay for enough staff.With the amount of other coffee shop chains couldn't Surrey Sports Park find someone better to provide what is a much needed service.
