Vine Inn in Southampton

Had a lovely meal after a busy day at paultons park while staying at the premier inn. Menu is really varied and the kids menu has lots on and caters for bigger kids which is great as meant we didn’t have to buy them an adult meal! All 4 meals were delicious, the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. Thank you

I had to stop it as I wasn’t very well. The pub garden was lovely in the sun, The food was good and the staff very friendly. Especially the land lady who found my phone I left behind. Not only did she look after it for me but kindly posted home for me. So kind: thank you 🙏

Awful - such a tatty pub with menus that are stuck together at the table. We came for a drink pre our stay at the premier inn and couldn’t believe what we’d walked into. For what was a quiet pub with no one in it you’d expect the service to be impeccable and the place clean . There was chips all over tables that hadn’t been wiped down, graffiti on a wall opposite the arcade machine , ketchup on the floor , and the lady behind the bar had never heard of a Buck’s Fizz! This place needs a good clean not to mention refurb . Such a shame as it lets the premier inn down too given that it’s next to the hotel and the only place to walk to. Do not recommend

Friendly Staff, Alex was great with good service. It’s a Hungry Horse cheap and cheerful., it is was it is. Pub was clean.

Good food at a reasonable price. Very kind and welcoming staff. My little boy was being stubborn and wouldn’t eat his meal properly. One of the staff walking past heard me trying to get my child to eat. I’m not sure how she did it my little boy then decided to eat a fair amount of his dinner. Just want to say a big thank you to Christine She made our dining experience so much better. Hope she is there the next time we visit

Prices for drinks were sky high. I had a Sunday roast at around 8pm it was awful the beef was like a load of large rubber bands screwed up. The veg was cold.the Menu had one third of the list unavailable....I was with my Grandchildren going to Peppa Pig World other vise I would have played merry Hell. I did not want to upset them !!!

We went to the restaurant on a very busy Saturday night, they were short staffed and Chloe was running backwards and forwards bless her. Toby was amazing, kept his cool, very polite and easy to talk to, nothing was no trouble at all. He has great customer service and is a real credit to your team. You can see that they’re both extremely hard workers! You should be really proud of them!

I wouldn’t recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone. It isn’t table service, which isnt a problem but it seemed to be always busy at the bar. They had run off of several things including vodka! Meals were Luke warm to cold. My husband had the donut for pudding and it came out warm, icing in top melting. Toilets the doors were dirty and sticky. I think it’s been taken over since the last time we went our reason for visiting but sadly hadn’t improved. Needs shutting down, having a major refit and people that care and know what they are doing managing it.

A very busy lively place to eat. The staff were attentive enough they were busy especially Toby the waiter. He welcomed us with a smile , explained that they are very busy and that he would find us a table . He found an extra chair which we needed . He reassured us that our food order wouldn’t be too long to wait. The food was great . After our meal and when leaving he was there to say thank you for coming and have a safe journey. A good ambassador for the business.
