Costa Coffee in Southampton

Absolutely shocking customer service! The staff were stood around chatting when I queued up, and the girl rolled her eyes and the guy with her looked at me, turned his back and continued their conversation. I waited another 5 or so minutes until they decided to serve me. The girl then proceeded to collect an empty tray on the table I was sat on by slamming other trays she collected on top of it and gave me a dirty look.

Not to busy which was great but queues for the toilet randomly

Not many there,Didn't really see enough to write a lot. So be fair and not pass opinion. Only had a drink.

Had the best Soya Cappuccino in ages at any Costa made by Ashley a couple of weeks ago. Too many times baristas slop too much milk so its more of a soup than a coffee but the one made by Ashley had a nice strength and flavour. Returned today and had another good coffee. Clean offering the usual Costa range of drinks and snacks. Thought the barrister on duty was one of the friendliest I have met. This branch offers indoor and pavement seating. Costa WIFI only works in part of premises- frustrating.

What a disgusting sandwich we had here today. Not even fit enough for my dog A blob of cheese & a quarter moon shape of processed ham not worth a £ & paid £3.99 for it. My 8 year old granddaughter makes a better sandwich. Will I be back N E V E R!!!! Rip off Britain that’s all I can say. Please don’t eat from there it was absolutely disgusting to say the least!!!!!😡😡

There are 3 Costa coffee in West quay mall. I went to the one on ground floor opposite to waterstones book shop. I bought a toastie and given to staff member (Mgn) for warming it up. Once she took the toastie out from the oven, she puts it directly on the counter top and cut it. They have two separate knifes and two separate chopping boards for meat and veg options. Chopping board was placed so close, but she didn't use it. When I noticed it, she gave me a strange look. Awful service!! I mean, I didn't expect this from Costa.

I am shocked with the customer service at this store. I ordered my drink shaking due to a low blood glucose and the person behind ordered the same drink but was given his first. I asked if my drink was coming concerned and was told sorry we’re busy and she’s had a lot of drinks to make yours is coming. Another 2 people get there drink and almost begging had to ask if my drink would be soon. It was not complicated just a flat white. Never again.

Kept changing delivery time then arrived stone cold !!!!

I really enjoy drinking my coffee here. However, the seevice is often too slow

I find costa a bit overwhelming

Good place to come to for a coffee, cake and conversation with either friends and family or both so why not give it a try and enjoy the costa coffee experience with a great friendly staff and pleasant service

First time ordering and last time. Incorrect items, took over an hour and almost half a cup of my hot choc missing, even though it didn’t look like it was spilled. Terrible service.

Unfortunately the time only goes to an hour late! How it can take nearly 3 hours to get a wrap that was supposed to be hot (stone cold) a hot chocolate (also stone cold) and a muffin, I have no idea. Just eat wouldn’t let me cancel either. Not bothering again

This is a very fine choice if you are looking for a good luncheon az they vend fine coffe with a selection of hot and cold snacks plus desserts.

Out shopping, had sandwiches for lunch, then went here for their good predictable coffee. You find these coffee stores around Europe and they are reliable.

Had mochas for 3 days from here now and got some bad stomach ache right after it .I think it's got something to do with the milk here.Better to have a look for the quality of the milk

The cappuccino wasn’t as good as I used to but that was the first time I am having it skinny! The Latte for my partner was excellent .

Lovely Xmas hot chocolate and chat with a friend. Nice staff, friendly, courteous, helpful. Gets quite busy here as near taxi rank and opposite the central station but still a nice place to chat. Bought 2 Costa coffee mugs from here.

Well todays visit to costa at west queys shopping centre was the worse ever, Glass literally like someone Drink coffee in and And he put coffee for me without the washing never again

There was a costa or Starbucks around the corner from the train station and we chose costa for a quick drink and snack before a game booked around the corner. The staff were friendly and efficient and the drinks were perfectly made with the right temperature. Just what we needed!

The bench style seating needs a good clean. I understand customers will drop all sorts on there but a wash before closing would not go amiss Usually costas are clean places to eat and drink.

Not a single clean table out of more than 20 not being used. What are they playing at. Who would want to pay to sit in such a mess?

Well todays visit to costa at west queys shopping centre was the worse ever, rude member of staff Carlos... we ordered toast which arrived with butter but no knife, when we asked for a knife for the toast he literally rolled his eye at us. Also asked for a glass for a bottle of coke and again got the same response. Appalling customer service

Adaptable, accommodating and speedy service! Today is the height of the half term and westquay is packed out. Costa's queue was heading towards the escalators but despite the busy crowds the two men working today made sure to keep tables clear, get all drink and food out, manage the queues and do it all with a smile on their faces! Thank you for a great service!

They need more Gluten free options. Without asking they put buscuit crumbs on top of my hot chocolate and cream so I had to wait for them to make a new one.

Under staffed, not very clean due to lack of available staff - uncleared tables

Costa have a great formula for their shops. It is a shame that this is not being allowed to change and develop over time. Whilst the coffee is always good there is a distinct increase in a corporate look and feel to their shops and their industrial level tax avoidance in the UK is unacceptable. This is pushing me away to smaller independent cafes where there is a more individual feel and I know they are contributing to the local economy. Costa have lost their way in my opinion and will have to work hard if they are to maintain their status on the UK high street.

This was the upstairs costa at the food court Went to costa to pick up a drink with two of my friends they were not busy as we went towards the end of the day as I waited two of the men serving and working there were just chatting and drinking I stood for about 20 seconds waiting for them to finish which I didn’t mind to much but not ideal. My friends were before me and went to sit down I asked if it was ok if my drink could be brought to the table a no would have been fine but I was abit annoyed when gentleman I’d just paid said “why can’t you wait” I replied why can’t you bring it to the table he said “just wait” So I waited and then watched him walk past and deliver someone’s drink to their table. Nice bit of favouritism I guess. Not happy won’t be going there again

Visited Costa at the top of West Quay in Southampton today. Service was appauling; slow, distant and rude. I will not be returning I would rather visit John Lewis and receive a polite and professional service.

Review for the top floor Costa at west quay. I’ve been using this Costa for years. I’ve used them all over the country by west quay stands head and shoulders above everyone else with regards to consistency in friendly staff, well prepared coffee, attention to detail and customer requirements. Awesome !!

Just another Costa Coffee. Nothing to write home about.

Today I had Karla serve me. After ordering and paying for 2 drinks I was told that they had ran out. I didn't get offered a refund and this lady was quite rude. I did swap my drinks for other ones as I felt slightly uncomfortable. Not great

There are two Costa outlets in West Quay Shopping centre in Southampton I recommend you don't go to the one on the ground floor. The female member of staff that served me was miserable and rude. I asked for an Americano and a Mocha Frappe, she asked if I wanted cream and I said no when she gave me the drink it had chocolate syrup on top which I didn't ask for and she didn't ask if I wanted it either. The drinks were both awful and so was her customer service !!

Diese Costa-Filliale liegt zwar etwas abgesetzt in einem Zwischengeschoss, aber nichtsdestotrotz in einem lauten, meist sehr vollen Einkaufszentrum. Die Tische stehen eng beieinander, sodass Gemütlichkeit oder gar Entspannung nicht aufkommen wollten - insbesondere weil To-Go-Kunden sich an den Tischen vorbei nach hinten zur Kaffeebar drängen müssen (und einem dabei ihre Rucksäcke und Einkaufstaschen ins Gesicht drücken). Das Angebot entspricht dem Standard, unser Personal war freundlich und angesichts des Betriebs einigermaßen fix. An Essen und Getränken gabs nichts auszusetzen, alles paletti.

The Frosting are delicious and the staff friendly

Nice place to grab a coffee. The staff are nice, but the seating is limited and it is often busy, so getting a seat as a family can be difficult.

Friendly customer service. Much like any other Costa looks wise.
