Surprisingly quick for a made to order bagel. Good selection of everything...bagels and fillings. Whilst exploring the area, this made a good savoury choice stop. 4* as not exceptional to make a special trip

Gluten free bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese. Was delicious although it had started to harden as gf bagels don't microwave well. But really, really delicious. My husband "normal" bagel had chilli in the bagel and he had the Reubens - so full of pastrami and gherkins. Happy man - commented on how tasty and filling it was. Great work Bagelman! Your staff are great and I was really impressed to see the care taken to avoid cross contamination with my bagel.

So I find this place a little confusing. You get a bagel which costs about 10p wholesale (if that), you add a slice of lettuce, 2 strips of bacon and some tomato, squeeze on a teaspoon of mayonnaise and then charge £6.50. The queues are out the door and you are making 400% profit margins. For me its just a little too expensive for what it is, but good luck guys you certainly have struck gold, not sure the concept would work as well up North were people count there pennies but the affluent Brighton Crowd cant get enough.

Great food! Gluten free bagels which are so tasty! Staff are always so lovely and also not too expensive. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quick lunch, breakfast or snack!

Popped in for lunch and decided to eat outside, rain interrupted that plan. My wife could not manage the stairs or stools so they brought a table and chairs in for her, thanks. The bagels were fresh and tasty with lots of choice for a filling. All round excellent

Went here for breakfast with friends, and one is coeliac and had an amazing gluten free bagel. The rest of us had onion bagels with avocado, haloumi, hummus and hot sauce - incredible, I highly recommend!

I had the smoked salmon bagel and to be honest, it was ok, but not the best. There was too much cream cheese and little salmon.

He usado este lugar varias veces este mes mientras visitaba Brighton por negocios. Honestamente es genial! Recomiendo el bagel y la oferta de café. Buen bagel y buen café (en una taza ecológica). Staff are well trained with food allergies, lovely gluten free bagels and fast service, very quirky place and a nice atmosphere

Went this morning with husband and son as needed to kill time before Sunday opening hours and we'd not had breakfast. It was great. Very welcoming and excellent service. I had a gluten free bagel with tuna, mozzarella, olives, avocado and a dash of lemon juice. It was SO good!! The BLT bagels were also great. Would really recommend it you wanted a pit stop, but not a heavy breakfast/lunch and in the area. The guy who served us was a little ray of sunshine too :-) Lovely!

The place was very well Staffed and they themselves were very friendly and welcoming. Bagels were very well priced and tasty - the seitan tasted almost too authentic!! Will return again soon.

Popped in here for lunch with daughter's and husband. Sausage bagels all round, staff lovely telling us choices of bagels, opting for a pride bagel ( multi coloured) and two plain our bagels were brought to use when ready as we sat upstairs.

Bagelman's slogan in the window says "fresh and fast" and "delicious, freshly baked" - they do exactly that and do it well. My poppyseed smoked salmon cream cheese bagel was tasty and the toasted bagel perfectly warm and soft. Great for a quick, tasty lunch. Service was very warm and friendly too :)

Visited twice whilst in Brighton the staff are super freindly and helpful and the bagels are delicious ... would highly recommend a visit.

Visit here a lot. The team are fantastic. Service is always fast and runs like clockwork. As it should do. A lot of Brighton restaurants and cafes have forgotten customer service, but never, not ever, here. I visit on my lunch breaks as work in the area, and will forever continue to. Special acknowledgement to the those working Tuesday. It was extremely busy (as usual) and they coped very well under the pressure and had everyone served in no time. Great team. Great place. I favour a BLT or meatpacker. See you again soon.

Kindly provided yummy bagels and drinks for the queue outside vinyl revolution for their record store day. Super tasty and will definitely be back again!

We stumbled upon and into the Bagelman on Duke Street not knowing what we really want to eat, except that we want something yummy and warm. The young bagelista was very helpful and her good mood was contagious. The bagels (and fillings!) that we chose with her help were a perfect match for our hungry taste buds. The pots of tea were actual pots, not only by their name but also by their size.

Stopped in here for lunch, it was busy so thought that was a good sign. There was a steady flow of customers throughout our stay.

Loved Bagelman so much. There gf bagel is really nice and prepared in a separate section on request. 'The Reuben' was amazing with a perfect pastrami and pickle combination. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Brighton

We popped in here for a quick afternoon lunch. We all had the blt and they were great. I didn’t expect much from takeaway style bacon but it was so tasty. Everything was fresh, the staff were very friendly and the option to sit upstairs out of the rain was a bonus. I would defo go back and try other bagels.

Not been here before and often think of bagel sandwiches as over-priced. Used a Wriggle voucher and was pleasantly surprised. The avo in my bagel was spot on - not always easy and they serve quality drinks and crisps. Very friendly staff too.

So me and my partner went to brighton for the first time this year and we were walking through the lanes and came across this bakery of sorts (thankfully we were hungry!) and Claudia had said shes heard of this place online and its meant to be really good so we thought we would try it.

Me encanta bagels y he ido a Bagelman en Bond Street muchas veces, siempre pidiendo el salmón ahumado de lujo - salmón ahumado y queso crema con jugo de limón y pimienta recién molido. El fin de semana pasado fui a Bagelman en Duke Street y fue una experiencia muy diferente. El pan tomó un largo tiempo para hacer unos 15 minutos desde el punto de orden, y el Salmón Ahumado Deluxe fue realmente decepcionante. La crema de queso sabor una versión baja en grasas (? ) y yo no pude probar el jugo de limón o pimienta. Incluso cuando pedimos más, todavía apenas el sabor. Por favor, ser más generoso con su jugo de limón y solicitar un nuevo molino de pimienta, porque el que sólo produce un polvo fino - patética! En el lado positivo hay mucho de salmón ahumado y el bagel estaba tostado bien.

Tengo mi almuerzo de bagelman un par de veces a la semana. Su brunch bagels son maravillosos y se puede añadir extras. No vegetarianos y sin gluten rosquillas gratis. La cosa que me encanta es el hecho de que hacen salchichas vegetarianas! Tienen varios sitios en Brighton, pero voy este uno de los más. El personal es muy amable.

Such a wonderful array of bagels and lovely staff. I enjoyed a wholemeal bagel with peanut butter and bacon. You can get your bagel filled with almost anything here. Highly recommend .

Viernes 17 de julio, mi esposa estaba en la ciudad, necesitaba un bocado, solemos ir a la Iglesia, en la calle Bagelman pero estaba en Hove Duke Street hoy. Mi esposa hizo su petición con una señorita, una rosca de carne. (Mejor carne salada, fuera de Londres). Después de rebanar la carne salada, la señora se le cayó accidentalmente a la superficie de trabajo, que no es un problema, ya que el lugar está limpio y bien cuidado. El problema era otro empleado que estaba dando muestras de primera fuera pasando gente, luego entramos en la tienda, re falló a lavarse las manos o ponerse los guantes, me fui directamente al mostrador para ayudar a la señora que bagel de mi esposa, normalmente sus manos él jalaba los pickles y los colocaron en el bagel.

Recomiendo encarecidamente Bagelman como un rápido almuerzo o cena. He venido aquí muchas veces, el personal es siempre amable y dispuesto a realizar ajustes a sus roscas para adaptarse a los requisitos de la dieta. Hay una amplia variedad de opciones en el menú y un montón de pequeños aperitivos. Mientras espera para bagel, puede dibujar en la parte de arriba chalkboards. Perfecto para comer allí o para llevar. No he estado aquí en un rato, pero cada vez que pasa me dan hambre!

Fuimos dos almuerzos seguidos ya que la comida era tan buena. Las rosquillas eran tan fresco y sabroso. Ambos tenían principalmente vegetariano así ensalada y estaban deliciosos. Uno de nosotros es gluten gluten y tenía un rollo gratis, que era igual de delicioso. Este es un gran lugar para ir por la comida buena, fresca y saludable, tiene wifi gratis y un ambiente relajado. El personal era muy amable y servicial, incluso conseguimos escuchar algunas interesantes de "Singing rain" mientras en la cola. Gracias a todos por 2 x precioso almuerzo pasamos aquí. Por favor, abra un Bagelman en Southampton! :)

This is a great place to go if you love your Bagels. Plenty of choice, freshly prepared, good quality ingredients and staff are all very friendly. Some of them even sing when they serve you!

Ambiente semplice dove potrete gustare dei Bagel preparati al momento, con ingredienti freschi. Avrete anche la possibilità di scegliere il tipo di pane che preferite. Entrate, ordinate e andate ad accomodarvi (oppure take away) i. Il Bagel vi verrà servito caldo, insieme alla vostra bevanda (non hanno alcolici quindi potrete spaziare tra bevande analcoliche calde o fredde). Noi abbiamo provato il 'Rovington St' e il 'Black Seed' (v. foto). Il personale è giovane e cortese.

Encontré este lugar por accidente estaba impresionado con el relleno para bagels y el hecho de que incluso tenía una opción para pan novia también. La carne salada era delicioso, si quieres un almuerzo rápido y fácil, este lugar es para ti. Hay un área de descanso arriba, el personal era amable y el servicio era rápido.

Normalmente no puedo hablar sobre restaurantes o cafés. Cada vez que visite cualquier lugar, trato de no ir al mismo restaurante más de una vez (así que puedo ampliar mi paleta de degustación). Pero es sin duda una excepción Bagelman. Madre mía, sí que hay algo muy bueno bagels. Tienen opciones de carne, vegetarianos/opciones vegetarianos, y GF opciones. Los bollos son tostados perfectamente y los ingredientes frescos son encajonado entre. El servicio es estupendo, y la comida es increíble. He visto tres Bagelmans en Brighton ubicado en diferentes partes de la ciudad. Así que cuando usted necesita una solución rápida bagel, no debería ser un problema.

Consistantly offers good bagels, very fresh produce for a reasonable price. Very polite staff, and good coffee!

Hoy visitamos este lugar y ensayado un par bagels que eran de primera categoría. . No mucha diferencia de precio comparado con mcdonalds, Subway, etc. pero un millón de veces mejor. El aspecto limpio y presentable y el personal parecía contento y entretenido bromeando con los clientes. Parece discapacitados con asientos de abajo y, en general, no está mal de precio que encontré. . . Elegir al azar que lugares para comer y este tiene un factor para comer un bocado. . Lo recomiendo y volveré. .

Aparecimos para almorzar y tenía la Reuben bagels (en el caso de que no podía adivinar por el título de la revisión).

we happened across this little place exploring the lanes in brighton last weekend. i was skeptical at first since most places that advertise bagels don't mean in the american way... the sausage, egg and cheese way... but, oh... what a wonderful surprise... THIS IS THE PLACE THAT DOES! we stumbled across it saturday afternoon and my husband and i decided to come back for breakfast the following day. our wonderful (not) hotel had a fire alarm that spooked us out of bed at about 8:00 that next morning and we stumbled our way over... we were scared it would be closed considering it was that early and on a sunday... brighton felt like a ghost town... low and behold: OPEN! not only was it open, the gentleman manning the ship was incredibly nice and professional. if only all people working retail/restaurants had that kind of attitude. he had us pay and go sit outside to wait while he prepared our sandwiches and coffee/tea which he promptly brought out and wished us a better day since we'd explained about our fire alarm issue. we strolled back to the beach and had an AMAZING breakfast sitting by the seaside... THANK YOU, BAGELMAN! keep up the good work! (and open in london, please!)

Great hot lunch time bagel, quickly served with so many different options. Would recommend for both take away and eat in.

Bagels recién horneados de la tienda central en Bond Street en Brighton, este lugar en la peatonal calle Duke ofrece asientos de abajo y la de arriba es una habitación más grande. Ofrecen una mesa central con wifi gratuito y prepararán un plato de bagels mixta y/o dulces para reuniones. No había cargo extra por este servicio sólo para los bagels y cafés como siempre un servicio excelente, un personal estupendo, fantástico bagels con relleno increíble.

Nice little bagel shop. Lovely breakfast bagels and something different from the norm. Also does a nice pot of tea! Worth a visit for a snack! :)
