Worth every penny. The cats are very happy, healthy and content. Lots of stokes and chin rubs warmly welcomed by these very friendly purry cats. We had the best time thank you.

The cats here are extremely cute and all of the staffs are very nice. Cats are very clean and human-friendly, you just can tell they are treated very well haha. And all of the cats’ art around is amazing. Mocha latte recommend.

I have always been meowning to visit a cat cafe and it's great to see one in my local area, so a warm welcome to you in Brighton! There are a couple of hurdles for arranging your visit but I feel it is necessary for the experience. The fuzzy fuss was a very welcome presence but remember they are proud animals and may not necessarily give you the interaction you are expecting! My favourite thing about the cafe is how they acted as a cat-alyst for conversation with our fellow compatriots who joined us on our discovery of feline fortress. Thank you for kindly hosting us!

We have been to a few cat cafes all over the country and this was such a fantastic experience for us! Absolutely loved the place and the staff are amazing. The cats are all gorgeous! All so friendly and keen to play. This is definitely great value for money and we will 100% be returning again.

cool cats, cute, sometimes sleepy. When the kitten came for the first time, Disco was a kitten. When the second kitten arrived, it had already grown up and was a cat. Cool.

We had a very bad experience in this place. Waiter let us in late and asked us to sit in a dark, filthy corner downstairs wirh a bad smell (cat urine?), with run down furniture and worn out cat toys, although the place has only been open for a few weeks. My son had soup spilled all over him, waiter didn't even apologise. The slots ate ridiculously expensive (I paid 17 pounds for 2 coffees, which we didn't have time to finish because of 20 minutes slot, when staff had let us in 5 minutes late). I emailed to complain and I didn't even get a reply. Hence, this bad review.

Absolutely wonderful, my mother and I visited during our short holiday in Brighton. We took full advantage of the 2 for 1 deal on cocktails here and enjoyed mojitos and long Island iced teas. While we had hoped to have our lunch here, we were quickly informed that there was risk of contamination in the kitchen and so, due to my coeliac disease, we chose not to risk it. Still, we adored the drinks and the atmosphere more than made up for the food. The cats are friendly and sweet, especially the Turkish Angora, Eros! Highly recommend a visit, book a reservation if you can!

If I could I would put negative stars! I payed 17 pounds for 20 minutes for 2 people and for them to let us in 5 minutes late so we got about 15/10 minutes then I they messed up our order and put tea with lemon and milk we asked for plain tea with lemon and it was extremely unsanitary then I went upstairs for the wifi password as I'm putting it in my phone he spilt lentil soup all over me!!! Th waiter Didn't even say sorry or hand me a tissue or wipe to wipe it off I had to ask for a tissue! And as I'm cleaning my self with tissue he kicks us out saying our time was finished and we didn't even finish our drinks!!!

We were on our way to The Pier, when we saw this magnificent place. Having attended cat cafes on previous occasions, I was pleasantly surprised that they had immediate availability. My first impression was that the members of staff were extremely nice. I asked if there were any bookings, expecting to be told that the place was fully booked. We were obviously pleased when we were informed that there was sufficient space. Compared to other places, this particular cat cafe was cramped. The cafe wasn't full when we attended and had all the tables been occupied, it might have been too overwhelming. Furthermore, the toilet was located downstairs (I do not know what happens if there is someone who has a disability which makes it impossible or difficult to use stairs) and the door is not conducive to having any privacy. On the other hand, the owners have clearly made an effort to create a certain vibe, but it would be lovely if they invested in a door which would generate a higher degree of privacy. I do not really like writing negative things, but I just want to convey my experience as accurately as I can. While food was not one of my top priorities (I was more interested in the cats), it was nice to see the owners made an effort with the menu. My partner asked for recommendations on the vegetarian options and one of the members of staff was able to give a coherent answer. She suggested the Aubergine Caponata.This is why it is so important that members of staff are able to eat the food so that they can recommend items. The background music was nice and the three cat paintings on the walls to resemble celebrities (at least I think that was the purpose) was a nice touch. Although I do recommend this cat cafe, it is an extremely cramped area. I think that this might make it difficult for members of staff to do their jobs at times because of the space. Although we did enjoy our time at this cat cafe, I also want to reiterate that the toilet wasn't sufficiently private. Many thanks to the members of staff who helped to make our visit enjoyable. ***Just to add to my review, many people have raised the issue of costs. Perhaps it might be prudent to provide information on the expenses that this place incurs in order to justify your prices. I mean this in a kind way.***

It was ok for an afternoon out. But I wouldn’t go again. The cats have very little space to roam around in, and seem constantly tired. They have no hiding spaces away from the humans at all. The space is incredibly cramped, especially with the amount of people they fit in per person. The entry fee is pretty high and then they expect you to spend a minimum of £6 per person on food or drink in there too, which I wasn’t prepared for as I didn’t see this when booking, so I didn’t really want to but I felt forced. Me and my partner shared bread and some cokes, the cans of coke alone were £4 each… It came to paying the bill and at the bottom of the receipt they had added a service charge saying paid at your discretion, however when my partner was presented with the card machine this had already been added on without asking him or not. The cats were cute, but the business is incredibly greedy.

The most purrrfect birthday gift! Not only are the cats gorgeous, the friendly staff serve up super-tasty and very well presented food and drinks. Would whole-heartedly recommend Munchies and would give it 10 stars if I could!

I love cats but this place was too small. I took my mum for mother's day and its not accessible for a woman who cannot get down stairs. It is so cramped and kept knocking things off the walls. It's a shame the place does not look after cats and then re home. Just a bit to squashed and uncomfortable for us to enjoy. we left after 30mins so she could use the toilet across the road.

The owner was so kind and cared well for the cats. The smoothie and chai i ordered were well made. The cats were so fun! I hope to coke back next time i visit

A nice place to visit however after spending £12 per head , very unusual to have a minimum spend of £6 pp for a cafe. We then were given an “optional” service charge of 15% which I didn’t think was fair as it was not stated / stated obviously on the menu , this felt like an attempt to pressure customers into paying without prior notice. Just a bit disappointing as it was misleading and wasn’t worth the money. It was overall roughly £40 for two people and two small smoothies for an hour

Cats are so cute and obviously cared for. It is quite pricey, and then there is a 'cat cap' on top of the bill, too. I would go again, though, but as a special treat.

Had the most amazing day here with My eldest son for a treat ! Staff friendly, great food, lovely drinks and the most beautiful friendly cats ! As it was quiet we were allowed extra time to enjoy our experience ! 100 percent worth a visit if you love cats ❤️

Very much worth the journey. To begin the atmosphere is very welcoming and vibey. I just had a simple hot chocolate and chocolate cake.. oh my God, it was the best chocolate foods I've ever had. And then ofc the cats!! All super friendly, gorgeous and ofc fluffy, all adorable, one even stole my partner's seat lol. All together, amazing experience, please, when you go, be gentle with the cats and wash your hands!!

Mi esposa y yo vinimos aquí en mi cumpleaños (12 en punto de reserva) , al llegar nos recibieron dos miembros del personal (ambos muy dulces y acogedores) y luego revisaron nuestra reserva y nos VOLVIERON A DECIR las reglas de la casa (que parece que mucha gente de aquí no leyó, la tarifa de reserva va para los gatos y sí indican el gasto mínimo! ¿Cómo esperas que se paguen los salarios y que se cuiden los gatitos? ) luego fuimos y nos sentamos arriba (tan lindamente decorados) y vimos a los gatos trepar y saltar por la increíble pared de escalada y pequeñas manchas de encaramado que tenían! Ha sido diseñado tan bien, especialmente teniendo en cuenta lo pequeños que son los espacios comerciales en Brighton! Los dos pedimos cafés y eran INCREÍBLES, pero eso obviamente es de esperar en un establecimiento turco. Luego tuvimos un pequeño paseo por las escaleras y jugamos con algunos gatitos más, los gatos eran súper sociables, pero también tan tranquilos y relajados (se podía decir cuánto les encantaba el personal, gorjeaban y atropellaban cuando entraba el personal). ¡Es increíble ver una compañía que ama y respeta a sus animales! Bonitos gatos. Un lugar horrible. Entró con mi hijo, en su cumpleaños. Había reservado en persona. Pagué el precio per-perso. Cuando aparecimos me dijeron que teníamos que cumplir con algún tipo de trato de comida. Dije que no me informaron sobre eso en el momento de la reserva. El personal me dijo 'quizás me había perdido esa información en el sitio web al hacer la reserva'. Reiteré que reservé en persona, nadie me había informado de esto cuando reservé. Así que lo dejaron caer. A continuación se explicó sobre el gasto mínimo per cápita de £ 6. Iba a comprar café, pasteles, etc. para los dos. After having paid around a £10 entry fee myself and the others I had come with hadn’t expected to have to pay an additional £6 plus as a minimum spend on the menu. The problem is, many menu items do not make it up to this minimum spend so unless you plan on forking out on a big meal or a drink with food, hitting the £6 mark is difficult. In order to hit the minimum spend target my friend and I had ordered a smoothie, which arrived lukewarm and watery. Most of the cats themselves appear lethargic as though they are constantly overstimulated. The cats also don’t seem to have anywhere to “hide” from people when they need a break, which as a cat lover and someone who has visited other cat cafes, is very important. I could’ve missed this, maybe there was actually a hidden area that I didn’t see, but regardless all of the cats were high up on the walls sleeping, save for one that was consistently trying to escape, though eventually they too joined the others up high. I’m unsure if these cats are adoptable like other cafes, but if they are, it must be difficult in a place like this to assume their actual personalities being that the space is so cramped and claustrophobic, especially for cats I imagine, hence why they hide several feet above our heads. If they are not able to be adopted, I wonder what the purpose of keeping these cats here are besides being a gimmick. Despite the small space, it’s very nicely decorated and the staff were respectful, I have no doubt that the workers really do love the cats here.

had a really lovely time today at Munchies - I think we got lucky as we had the first slot of the day so the cats were mostly quite energetic and friendly (oreo in particular <3) it would be nice if the time slot was a little bit longer as I would’ve liked a bit more time to eat however the staff and atmosphere made it worth it

Lovely staff although management didnt answer my email about cancellation which is disappointing. Cake was yummy, Tea was ok, don't get the choice of how much milk and such tiny cups. Cats being cats, do their own thing. Worth a visit if you're a cat lover.

So the cats were adorable but this 55min, £6 pp minimum is a bit of a joke, especially when you’ve paid a £10pp fee. The beers we ordered, we were told 30mins later that you didn’t have any. Few things out of stock. I then had to order 2 drinks for myself, to hit the cap and down them in the last 20mins. God knows how you’d eat a full tapas in this time. Considering this was a Saturday, you could have literally gone to Tesco and bought some. No GF desserts. All the cats bar two were asleep, they’re obviously knackered from the rest of the day. Great idea but execution needs work. Staff were friendly but I won’t be returning in a hurry.

I went here for my birthday the order day and even though we were a few minutes late, the staff that day ( I think her name was Lola) was really accommodating and gave us a bit of extra time. The food was something I don’t really eat but I was actually really good and my boyfriend and I definitely enjoyed it a lot. The cats were adorable and though a lot were tired and sleepy, as cats are, it was just lovely being around them and getting to enjoy the environment. The staff was really sweet and I loved the dim lighting and calm music for all the kitties, as someone who’s been to a few cat cafes, this felt the most relaxing !

A lovely treat for cat lovers :) Been here twice now! While it's a slightly expensive treat (although sometimes they also have the express coffee & cat option which I think is only £8.50 pp for 20mins), I appreciate that all (I think) the booking prices come with some kind of free drink and/or food item! And I'd definitely say it's worth it, especially if you don't get to see cats as often as you'd like. The cats are so cute and fluffy and obviously well taken care of, just respect the rules and don't expect that a cat will necessarily sit on ur lap, but the cats are happy to receive pets and there are toys around if any of them are feeling playful! Even the couple of sleeping cats are adorable and tend to keep sleeping peacefully if you give them pets. Don't want to pick a favorite but the orange and white cat is SO fluffy and soft and just has the cutest lil eyes.

I loved this cafe!! They had 8 cats you can pet and play with, we only had drinks but they had many option to choose from! The place had two floors and loads of spaces for the cats to relax in. It’s clear the workers love those jobs there and the cats were really friendly. Would highly recommend and I would love to go again!

This is such a great place to stroke the cats and have a can of drink or a slice of cake. Its amazing and I certainly recommend it to anyone who’s a fan of cute cats! Your cats are so friendly and loved climbing on our table and my partners lap. I rate it 100 and will certainly visit again❤️ 🐱

Incredible atmosphere, cats are very well looked after and super friendly while recieving loads of attention, they also enjoy playing. Very good drinks and lovely staff!

*Edit* There is not a word of truth in the reply! Blatant lies! Waste of Money. £11 for a 55 minute slot is extortionate, you then have to spend £6 per head which isn't hard. But our main issue other than the poor cats being overwhelmed from non-stop attention, and trying to hide and escape the humans, and the music which would have been relaxong if it hadnt have been so loud, was the service. Friendly enough but Creams levels of slow and disjointed. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, a further 10 to have our order taken, another 20 for half our drinks and finally got the last 2 drinks and cold brownies 3 minutes before the end of our slot. With 5 tables in the whole place I cannot begin to comprehend what could possibly take so long. On top of that the claw machine was broken, we pointed this out to the waiter who promised to fix it and refund us, but that never happened. To be fair we were in too much of rush to finish up and free up our table for the next slot to remind him. Honestly, would not recommend to anyone. Total waste of money.

We met the cutest furry friends ever. Venue was designed beautifully for their residents best living conditions and they seemed all happy happy cats bonded each other. Love to visit them again once we are back to Brighton.

Great little cafe with lovely decor and nice atmosphere. Ignore the negative reviews, this is a cat cafe but also their home so quite rightly everything is on their terms, this is all explained in the house rules. My wife and I had a booking for just over an hour and in that time had interactions from all 7 cats. Food was excellent and highly recommend the chicken casserole. Will definitely return.

Very small place and a little expensive but understandable due to pet care bills etc, cats were friendly and entertaining. The cous cous and focaccia were really lovely, especially the cous cous.

Went in on New Year’s Eve with the girlfriend for a relaxed afternoon with cats, only to have someone be rude to me when I ask for a cat to be brought over, and treated like an idiot for even asking that, being told in the most disgusting cadence “uhhh what, they’re free cats no” while I (and the rest of the customers actually getting the service they paid for and being engaged politely and informatively by staff) sit in a cage against a brick wall, while they charge ridiculous prices and talk down to people if they even think about touching the cage. they have ignored our emails for a refund after treating us in a downright obnoxious manner and staff and owners obviously have a my way or the highway attitude disguised as a rescue centre just as a means to feed their own egos they don’t care about the cats, they don’t care about your experience, avoid INb4 response of mehmehmeh sorry we don’t prioritise you over the cats, you don’t even provide a service, you don’t know how to serve, you shouldn’t be a business. End of.

Visited today with my cat crazy son and we had a lovely morning. The cats seemed really happy and well looked after. The lady serving us was very friendly and patient with my son and the coffee and cake were delicious. Will defo be back. Thank you!

Lovely place to go with your friends. Very comfortable, cosy atmosphere with the best chocolate cake ever 🫨 The cats were the cutest and our 45 minutes booked time flew by so quickly. The space is a little small but so full of love <3 I also love the fact that they support local artists and there is so much cute cat art!!

Lovely little place, the cats were lovely too. HOWEVER, poor selection of cakes/pastries. The banana bread didn't appear to have been anywhere near a banana, it's virtually impossible to make dry banana cake if it has banana in it. My daughter's partner's was dry and tasteless. Even worse, my daughter was given the end piece which was like a brick. Under no circumstances should it have been served to a paying customer. If you can't see this for yourselves, frankly, I don't have the energy to complain.

Visited today with my wife and twin girls. We had an amazing time with the cats who were so cute and engaging. Also the homemade chocolate and banana cakes were delicious. The cafe provides a lovely home to a lot of rescue cats. Highly recommend a visit.

Met some very contented cats, had a ridiculously delicious peanut maca smoothie and was served by the friendliest, kindest staff. A really special place, what a treasure. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space, I’m excited to come again and share with more friends.

Really love the vibe of the place. The decor is gorgeous and the staff are lovely. The cats seem very happy and well looked after, they have a room they can use to get away from people if they want some space. My only qualm is that the food is pricey for what it is.

I love the cats here because they accept almost any type of stroke. Even belly rubs, plus the food and drink is nice but I would highly recommend that you go downstairs as it has a nicer atmosphere.

Well worth a visit! Friendly staff and gorgeous cats. Definitely recommend booking to avoid disappointment and have a look at the menu before arriving so you can order quickly after arrival and maximise time with the cats. The cat’s safety and wellbeing is clearly taken seriously as they can come and go as they please and have an area they can go to that cannot be accessed by customers. Cocktails were delicious and appreciated the staffs willingness to make one virgin at our request.

Amazing place!!! The people are incredibly friendly and helpful! Also, the customers around us were all very nice. The energy and chill vibes made me incredibly relaxed. As a cat lover this place was amazing to visit. I highly recommend! The food is amazing - I recommend the chocolate cake and the chicken shish wrap - it was delicious. Very excited to find a cat cafe and the resident felines were of course gorgeous. Staff super helpful and friendly, will definitely be returning. I think booking downstairs is the best plan but we were encouraged to roam between the main floor and basement.

Had a great visit with my daughter who has autism so can be nervous a lot but was very mellow and chilled after a hour with new furry friends Great staff that made you feel welcome with fast service on drinks and positive attitudes Will visit again soon

Lovely cats, and the manager obviously looks after them well. Very comfortable visit, lower rating is because of other member of staff really slacking with our drinks. Since they cost £6.50, we expected pleasant smoothies as described, but sadly i think as we visited at the last slot available, he could to be bothered to get all the bits out and make them properly. We received lukewarm coconut milk with fruit pieces floating in it. It was very unpleasant but he was rushing to close up so didn't feel comfortable bringing it up with him.

Kind of weird vibe. Staff member that we interacted with wasn’t super friendly. Stairs down to the dungeon were steep and had to trek up them to order a drink which was odd rather than have a staff member take it. Drinks took forever to come. Cats were cute and well looked after. Drinks when arrived were well presented and tasty.

Lovely staff, delicious coffee and food (we had the Turkish halva and a banana bread), and most importantly, wonderful cats! All cats are so adorable and they all have such unique personalities. It's so funny to watch their interactions (especially Oreo and Biscuit 😆). You can really tell all the kitties enjoy their environment and are so comfortable around guests. We definitely recommend visiting!

NEW REVIEW 14th Sep 2024: This Cafe/Bar has now converted into a Cat Cafe/Bar and is excellent, I've been a few times since it changed, I've tried a few of the Tapas dishes which are tasty, the cocktails are great and coffee perfect. The Cats are very Friendly, they vary in activeness and playing depending on when you go but even when they're resting they're beautiful to admire, you can tell they are well cared for and happy. The Prices for Food and Drink are what you'd expect from a Cafe/Bar in central Brighton and the fee to book a table (Welfare fee) is expected considering they have to look after the cats and is cheaper than the cat cafes i've visited in London. Overall a lovely place to visit. ORIGNAL REVIEW from a Year ago: Amazing little cafe/Restaurant/Bar. The food is fabulous for Brunch or dinner and it converts into a really nice bar in the evening. Very dog friendly and has a resident golden retriever!!!

Edit 05/24: not sure what happened but it’s all changed now! There are no waffles or pancakes and the savoury stuff wasn’t particularly tasty but a bit dry. This is so sad! 😭 Literally one of my favourite places in Brighton. They’re food menu is hard to beat and I just love to have a nice coffee and smoothie sitting next to Alex. No surprise they’re always full!

Was very excited hearing a cat place has opened in Brighton and munchies did not disappoint! Came here with my partner and we sat in the downstairs area, definitely the best choice! The cats would come and go as they please, and the staff were very nice and respectful. I got a coffee and my partner had an Acai bowl which was amazing! Definitely will be back - such a lovely environment and you can tell the cats are happy and comfortable. Such a lovely time :)

Me and my husband visited this place this morning. Unfortunately, we didn't like it. We are travelling a lot and we have seen so many cats cafes in different towns and countries. Very sad ,but this one was the worst one. We were sitting downstairs. The place is very small. Not many cats around. And smells not very nice... Food was ok,staff friendly but this wasn't the main thing we were for.We had booked for 1hour 15 min,but we left earlier because there was nothing to do and nothing to see. No cats to play with or watch them walking around. We paid £26 to book us in and this is way too much for what we got. We also spent £23 for food and drinks which is ok. Atmosphere wasn't enjoyable. Everything is very squished . On our way out we been asked if everything was ok and I wanted to be honest and said we didn't like it. Staff tried to explain us why they can't get more cats and other things. I do understand this is different than normal coffee shop,unfortunately ,understanding doesn't make us feel better. If you want to visit cats cafe,look for different one. One quite good is in Eastbourne.

Had a lovely time here with some incredibly sociable and friendly cats - and very pleasant human staff, to boot! The cats all had their quirks and working out how to get their attention was a fun game in and of itself - mean ol' Oreo thinking he's top cat was always funny to see, especially when he kept taking people's seats. Food was nice - not big portions, but good small plate food. Very good cocktails, a bit pricey but had flavour profiles you don't see often. Active space was a bit small and pokey, which was actually fine thanks to the careful in/out flow of booked groups, but made walking past each othed a little tricky. Worst thing to report was the downstairs smelled strongly of, uh, cat toilets - and I can hardly blame the staff for their cats following the rules. A fun day out with some fluffy grumps!

I have been to other cat cafes which were better. This one seemed a little cramped. One very small upstairs room with only enough space for 3 tables, each seating 2-3 people, and a similar sized room downstairs. The downstairs room is a bit of a twilight world with black walls, neon decor and low lighting. The cats all seemed happy and well cared for. We got to spend some time with them, which was great. One thing I would say is to think twice about booking downstairs if you have mobility issues of any kind. The stairs are very deep. I nearly fell down them as I wasn't expecting such a large step down the first one. Then I nearly needed help getting back up as I have arthritis in my knees, and there's little to hold on to once you get near the top of the stairs.

I understand for a small business it is difficult especially to feed and care for the cats, however the food here is VERY expensive and very average. The options are very limited and for an expensive entry fee two people could end up spending £50 pounds for a 1 hour ‘experience’ with extremely mediocre food. There aren’t many choices of food either. When we went in the place stank of BO or something putrid & the animals weren’t particularly engaging and mostly kept in the corners so we just sat there for 50 minutes. P

Would definitely recommend for dates! Went with my girlfriend, and had a brilliant time. The staff are super friendly and allowed us to roam upstairs and downstairs to see all of the cats and say goodbye to the cats after our time was up. The cats are varied in how willing they are to play, but all were very friendly, all seven of them! Our drinks were also great! Would 100% go again :)

Had such an amazing time at Munchies!!! Food was amazing and the company was even better! Will definitely be coming back and 100% recommend getting the most amount of time you can!

Amazing time here! The cats are so lovely. We went at around 2pm and all the cats were chilling out and napping, and all wanted a good cuddle and a scratch, especially Oreo and biscuit. Will definitely be back!

We paid £30 to get in to the cat cafe and was made to feel uncomfortable saying there was a minimum £6 fee for each person for drinks and food. We were not aware of this and was told we have to ordered something. We only stayed for 10 minutes when we paid for 50 minutes with the cats as they made us feel like we shouldn’t be in there. They need to make this more clear. Also, smelt really bad of cat wee in the downstairs room

Really expensive, pushy staff insisting on buying drinks and food. Barely any cats and a tiny cramped space. The downstairs stank of cheap air freshener, searching through reviews it seems it's used to cover up the smell of rancid cat urine, lovely. The single cubicle bathroom door is slatted, providing zero privacy. The staff are really rude, condescending and pushy. Having a £6 spending minimum after you *pay* for your tickets is really atypical and misleading. The cats seemed really lethargic barring one kitten, and also not very well groomed. The downstairs is really humid to a point of being uncomfortable, either from damp or evaporated urine. The menu is very poor, everything is overpriced and underwhelming even to read. The coffee is mediocre and both the odd selection and the pricing makes it very difficult to spend close to ~£6 to meet the £6 additional spend. They use lots of cloying fragrances to mask the smells and refuse to offer refunds on the ticket fee if you have a less than satisfactory experience, the staff tried to charge us for the drinks we were pressured to order, giving us first a minor discount and then conceding to knock the ~£8 drinks off, but seemingly no refund partial or otherwise of the tickets was possible. All in all a very bad way to run a business imo, and probably won't stand the test of time. We practically spent all of 20 minutes of the 50 minutes there once time to disinfect your hands and getting pushed to order drinks and receiving a repeat lecture from the staff on the house rules is deducted. Just avoid it, go to a nice cafe in town, or even better go to one of the java whiskers cat cafes when you're next in London to see a properly run cat cafe.

Disappointing experience at the cat bar. As soon as we arrived, a strong smell of cat urine filled the basement, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. The service was extremely slow which ruined our time. Despite the original idea, the hygiene and quality of service really leave something to be desired. The cats are very affectionate but I don't recommend this place

Quite tight and cramped, but that's kinda expected and can't be helped due to the venue. Bit expensive, but can understand the costs due to the cafe not being able to cater to many people at a time, plus extra costs of looking after the cats. Overall a nice a chill experience with lots of friendly cats of all shapes and sizes... food was simple, but nice and came out fairly quickly.

Spent an hour here with 2 friends, the style and decor was very basic as well as the food to be quite low quality and highly priced. Of course we understand the profits are helping the cats so we didn't have too much of an issue with this, we went for the cats which of course were the star of the show but wouldn't go back for the food. Staff were friendly but service was slow.

Staff were polite and service was slow. The £9.95 charge per person was expected, however I was shocked at also having a minimum spend of £6 per person on top of this for a 50 minute slot. So £16 is the true charge per person. Although I was told the minimum spend per person fee was on the website our slot was booked over the phone and no minimum charge was mentioned then. Cafe itself was quirky and the cats were cute. So for 3 people 50 minutes and 3 drinks (I was told I had to order food or another drink to meet minimum spend requirements) in the cafe came to £48.95! Will not return and would also not reccomend to others- shame as the idea of the cafe is great. Minimum spend per person as well at 9.95 booking fee per person is a rip off. Plenty of much nicer cheaper cafes in the centre of Brighton.

Such a overly, friendly place. Came across by accident, whilst we didn’t have a booking (recommended) the manager was happy to find us a table within the restaurant where the cats were all playing. The place is clean, hygienic and staff are so friendly. Good food and drink choices and not at silly prices. The cats were in excellent condition and happy to interact with customers. Proper little characters all of them. Lots of toys to keep them amused and you can play with the cats. Definitely will be visiting again.
