Norsk in Aylesbury Vale

Situated on the green in centre of Haddenham, all road parking, small restaurant with a courtyard at the back, no high chairs, limited menu but food was excellent, all well presented, very tasty and large portions. We will revisit.

Amazing breakfast, coffee, lunch and desserts to then take home! We take everyone who comes to visit and most visit us again just for Norsk!

Greeted by a very rude staff member, the way she spoke to us on numerous occasions was very condescending and as if we were an inconvenience particularly when asking about foods that are allergy friendly. Seems there are very few if any suitable for dairy and gluten free. The food is lovely but I still feel it is very overpriced for what you get.

Superb service, very smiley and quick. Food delicious. Nice scandi style decor and warm atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Well what can I say! This place is a gem. Vibrant, bustling busy and very tastefully decorated, with happy obliging staff. You can see the meals being prepared and the chefs proudly plating up the orders. I mean they are a work of art. It has a great outdoor space which is also very tastefully put together.. I had the homemade soup, it was utterly scrumptious. My partner had the scrambled eggs with pancetta and it looked so delicious I had to try some of his aswell, and guess what? Yep it was delicious . No wonder customers come back to this place time and time again..

I took my granny to Norsk for lunch, boy was that a good decision. A really relaxed vibe, the cafe was filled with locals, and our waitress was lovely. Everything on the menu sounded appealing, I went for the chicken salad in the end advised by the waitress. It was delicious - I highly recommend it ! The interior of the cafe was decorated very tastefully with charming homeware bits and bobs to buy. Will definitely be going back!

I’m a regular visitor to Norsk and I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. The only thing that has disappointed me is when it has been full! Everything is beautifully presented, delicious whether savoury or sweet, the coffee is great and the staff are charming. What’s not to love?

A very nice little cafe serving good quality food with a very friendly staff. We keep coming back and will continue. They have a good selection of mains & puddings.

Something i never thought i would learn anything about, how to make coffee. How wrong i was, attended the coffee workshop last night hosted by Simon, who is very knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic about coffee. i was part of a small group, and he took us through the origins of coffee, through brewing using the kit we all have at home..... no pods here. i left buzzing, probably from the five cups of coffee, with a renewed taste appreciation . i would seriously recommend going on one of these.

I love this place and always get my coffee on the way to work, today I was well impressed by their new barista (apparently from Wendover, sorry didn't get her name Asian lady), lovely and quick service managed to get three orders in less than a minute and my coffee was perfect! I just thought this is worth a mention considering some big chains take about half an hour to make one coffee!

We usually go to Wendover branch but since lockdown we've been coming here at Norsk. We've always enjoyed coming here, food is good and the service is lovely. It was really nice to see and have a chat with Maria today, as usual her coffee was amazing! We're looking forward to the re-opening of Wendover cafe and have her delicious cakes as well!

Great range of items in the shop. Perfect coffee and amazing carrot cake. Will definitely visit again.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. Quite busy but managed to get a table for two. We ordered the ham and cheese toastie and the grilled veg and goats cheese on sourdough. Delicious. The cafe is also a shop selling good quality home items. We bought two wooden Lego display shelves as Xmas presents. Staff very friendly and efficient. We would recommend a visit to this unusual gem. Only open till 2pm at the moment.

Clean, friendly, great coffee. Had the chicken club which was substantial but fresh and tasted great. Also the smoked salmon and dill on sourdough was stunning. Small menu but done perfectly

Almost faultless! Amazing staff who appear to enjoy their job and team. never look stressed. lovely changeable menu so never gets boring! Beautiful food and great portion sizes! Always full but with excellent type of customer. fairly priced.

Have been here previously when it was under a different name. Had reason to go there and was so pleasantly surprised by the changes and the food is great. Only downside for me it is very noisy - small seating area, coffee machine noise and music, but maybe this is just an age thing! the food speaks for itself - staff lovely

Beautiful lunch, so tasty and great ingredients in a lovely atmosphere. Sister had warm chicken salad and I had the special soup - both were absolutely fabulous with such attention to detail with the ingredients. Best lunch I’ve had in a long time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back next time I visit my sister.

So lucky to have this beautiful, warm and friendly hub in the village. Food and staff are fantastic!

I have used Norsk many times for lunch. The food and drink has always impressed and the people that work there are excellent. For the majority of my visits I am alone and have a bit of a de-stress surfing on my tablet whilst I have lunch. On a few visits though I do have my family.BE AWARE!Unfortunately on my latest visit I was asked to turn off my tablet. A bit embarrassing in front of other customers, the server pointed to a card on the table. It states there is a ban on tablets and laptops 11am to 2pm and on weekends!It would appear there are people that abuse the cafe by spending all day doing work and probably spending very little. Rather than asking those people to stop they have taking a less confrontational approach by banning all. I will miss my lunches (as I said the food is very good) but Norsk should take a different approach and challenge the abusers not everyone. When I go to a cafe I don’t want to be dictated to on when I can use my tablet or laptop. I am not just paying for the food, I am paying for the service, amenities including WiFi and environment. If however you don’t mind the new rules it’s a great place for food and drink.I will return as soon as the rules change back to how they have been since the start.

Came today to try. Heaving with customers. Coffee OK. Cinnamon rolls, over cooked and over priced. Staff lovely. Items for sale if you wish. On the whole a very pleasant experience.

Lovely cafe set in heart of Haddenham - had a great lunch of well cooked food and really great tasting coffee.The menu needs to be updated on a regular basis as what was on offer did not match the menu today! Still excellent choice however. Cafe is very casual and also sells limited range of interesting pottery.This is a gem for a casual lunch.

Well actually we were taken their by some friends this Sunday for a brunch to help us refuel on a long bike ride. The decor is v Nordic & the staff v welcoming. The menu is really interesting eg kedgeree - not just a fry up. We have scrambled eggs in cream with avocado on toast topped with a bit of sweet chilli sauce - heaven plus various eggie bread ( doing it a dis service. The coffee is top quality. We shall definitely return

Stopped off for lunch. Friendly staff, good food and nice environment. Would recommend for lunch or to stop for morning coffee or afternoon tea. They also do breakfast

My wife and I had hard about Norsk through some friends and decided we'd give it a go. SOOOO glad we did as it is possible the best coffee for miles around and the food is marvellous. I would however say that they need to expand the menu ever so slightly and possible include things like smashed avocado on sourdough toast ( one of my favourite breakfasts ) other than that it is a lovely find and we will be going back regularly.

A firm favourite with the Girls do Lunch crowd between the school run and the gym/beauty parlour and popular too with trendy retirees from the nearby villages. So much so that it’s often impossible to get a table but none the worse for that. Seek it out but avoid peak hours.

Best scrambled eggs and salmon ever! A little expensive but the portions are huge so you get what you pay for. Certainly didn't scrimp on the salmon as many places do! Only downside is that it is very small so I have visited many times and not been able to get a seat. Also, the waiter was a bit forgetful but that's okay.

Stumbled upon Norsk on the web and decided to pay a breakfast visit as we were on the way to Oxford. The granola was really good. The café has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were also incredibly friendly. My wife and I both loved it. We'll be back as soon as we can - not just when we're passing through, but well worth a thirty-mile round trip in itself.

Stopped in on the way home from visiting my son , I started by having a chicken salad sandwich which was just superb , followed by a helping of cheese cake , which was so light and I must just say was with out doubt was the best I’ve ever had , the coffee I had just speaks for its self , just the best !! Service was a 10 out of 10 , friendly , and very efficient , if your in the area you must just go in and I promise you , you will not be disappointed, I was also lucky to meet the owners , Simon & Cathrine , they I ,have no doubt make this a place to visit along with the great staff food & coffee

Have visited here quite a few times over the last couple of months and have really enjoyed the experience.....until today!!!!!

This place is wonderful, I’ve been many times in the last few months, alone, with family and it never fails to delight, the team are warm and welcoming, the atmosphere Scandi perfection and the food a delight. I believe I’ve worked my way through the menu and can recommend everything I’ve eaten.

Visited here for a late breakfast, was surprised how busy it was but can see why. Homemade smokey beans on soda bread and soft bolied eggs with sourdough bread was spot on. Teamed with great service and lovely tea!

We have started to visit more frequently this little cafe. Food is freshly prepared. Not a huge menu, but what they do, is of excellent quality and freshly prepared. Staff are friendly and attentive Nice atmosphere

My daughter and I visited this lovely cafe today for the first time and what a wonderful treat. Amazing fresh food, including the best Club Sandwich I have ever had - and there have been a few! The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a very nice relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

On the edge of Haddenham this fantastic coffee shop/ small restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and brunch, with some great options to choose from all at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and pay attention to detail. This was our third visit, the food is excellent and cooked fresh to order. The cafe itself has a great ambiance, is clean and comfortable.
