We went there for the hype and found the food was great etc, until we found a hair on one of the sauces and when we told the server it was 'plastic ' (must be very long blonde hair plastic),, that is the moment we said we were done. Would I recommend? I don't doubt it after the experience. I'm sure it will be one off.

My friends and I went to Opiz to have a drink and it was almost midnight. The ambiance was perfect and Aiko was really friendly and professional with her job. We will definitely be back.

For my son’s 21st birthday we booked this restaurant. I am so glad we did because the service from Bita was amazing excellent, the food was fabulous, and the venue looked so plush. Lovely seats and a huge bar. Thank you so much for making his birthday so lovely.

Great place, great service and an excellent burger

There wasn’t a wide range of vegetarian options, and the service was a little slow. However, 10/10 atmosphere, the live entertainment was amazing and the aesthetic of the restaurant was very appealing. The waiters are also very friendly.

Walked by when we arrived said "this looks great will have lunch here" So glad we did. Great food, great service , wonderful atmosphere and decor. Gf had the salmon fillet , and I had the lamb saute. Fantastic we both really enjoyed it. Price was great. Thank you so much for a lovely dining experience. Will be coming back again even though we're not local

Went there for a lovely meal. Service was excellent, our waitress (sorry I didn’t catch her name) was very attentive and helpful and the food was delicious. The bread that supplemented the dips was really nice and topped up when we ran out. It was my birthday and they gave me a lovely dessert and a brief happy birthday which was a nice touch

Good was okay I have been to the other opuz in Hemel and Watford and both are better value, portions are bigger and they do not charge extra for rice or chips it comes with the £20 main course price they seem to be charging more to get the spend up. Service was nothing special I think as they add service charge on to every bill they do not need to try as they know they just add it on regardless.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Finally a restaurant in Aylesbury where the owners have put in a decent amount of money to make it a all round great experience. My borek starter and chicken skewer main was so delicious and good value for money. There is also a very good selection of wines and other drinks too. There was a mishap with some of the food but this was rectified quickly by staff who were very attentive. Thanks Opuz for a lovely meal.

Great place for lunch. Their complimentary bread was excellent. I don't eat meat but their vegetable moussaka was amazing. Food was very flavoursome

Just about perfect, however, it does come at a cost.

We travelled from our home time for the 2nd time now to eat at this restaurant. All of use enjoyed the food and it was a shame that we forgot to take a picture of it before we are everything we had. Next time we will upload a picture

Outstanding as usual. Fantastic value lunch at £15 per head. The lamb was yet again - a dream. A beautiful restaraunt with all of the expected hubbub of a fine dining establishment. Always an absolute pleasure to dine here. Sometimes Opuz can be exceptionally busy but Sel and the team work exceptionally hard to keep everyone content, which judging by some of these reviews, isn't an easy task?! If you are one to expect take away style food and gross portion sizes, arriving in just 5 minutes from ordering - then this is not the right eatery for you. If you expect top quality, clean and freshly prepared authentic Turkish foods, always served with a smile, then do not hesitate to book a table. We visit at least once a week and we are always most welcome. Saturday nights are a wow for larger dinner parties and their resident live musicians are fab. However, any night of the week ensures top level service and a food experience not to be missed.

The food and the atmosphere are great, it is definitely a place you can choose if you want to spend quality time and get good service.

We had a great experience at Opuz Aylesbury! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and inviting, and the decoration was stylish and modern. The food was truly amazing. The appetizers we had as starters were fresh and delicious. The grilled meat we chose as the main course was cooked perfectly, the quality and taste of the meat was truly admirable. The service was also very fast and friendly. The staff was always ready to help and very kind. We will definitely visit again and recommend it to everyone!

Extensive menu, freshly cooked, great service and a welcoming environment. Highly recommended. Loved it.

Lovely decor. But extremely overpriced. Lunch menu was £12.26 for chicken shish (£10.90 plus forced 12.5% service charge!) which consisted of just four cubes of chicken, some salad and a very thin strip of flatbread. Salad was nice. Shame not more bread or even a spoonful of rice to mop up lovely juices. Seems more style over substance, won’t be returning, far too overpriced.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at OPUZ in aylesbury, and it was an experience that surpassed my expectations in every way. I was captivated by the beautiful interior design. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm, creating an inviting atmosphere. The food is exceptional. I would recommend the opuz sharing platter for 2 as appetizers, the mixed grill platter. The presentattion of the food was outstanding! The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service.

My 3rd visit and the 3rd time I'd say I'd come back and recommend to anyone with a face.

If you haven’t got long covid and can in fact taste, this place is bang on. Violet served us and I am almost certain they hired her from the Savoy - her attentiveness was top class.

Beautiful decor and overall setting. Tonight was my third visit and every time the service has been prompt and attentive. We had both meat eaters and vegans in the group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food! Thanks to Violet for being a great host

I can honestly say, this place has the best Mojito in Aylesbury! The atmosphere and staff is excellent and the food totally outstanding. 👌 I do not remember when I enjoyed food so much. We tried Opuz Combo for 2 (calamari was perfectly cooked) and Lamb Shank what I fully recommend! Definitely we will be back to explore more Menu there 😉

We had an amazing meal here for our first anniversary. The food was fresh, flavoursome, and you got a lot of it per dish. The cocktails were delicious and staff were so lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning!!

Place looks beautiful and food was delicious. However some food wasn’t cooked properly. Most importantly they are VERY generous with the chips but VERY stingy with the Meat. We don’t pay so much money to order less meat and so much chips. With the high prices you should add lots of food on the plate too! Especially sharing platters. Taste is definitely there, either cut down the prices or be generous with the meat. Also if there’s more than one customer you should give more bread, not expect everyone to share one bread lol. Looks cheap. Won’t be visiting again.

Absolutely fantastic, service was very prompt and professional. We went for the lunch menu, £14.90 for a starter and a main. The portion sizes are smaller than the main but very generous. The taste was amazing and the complimentary bread is really good!

Came here to say won a recommendation. I had preconceived idea about it being a rough and ready Turkish restaurant. I was so wrong! Great menu with excellent service and good food. We had bread and dips to start, 2 Proseccos, mixed starters and I had the wagu burger. So tasty and moist. served very quickly. Great decor. Only points to note were toilets stunk and food was expensive!! Over £24 a main. You are charged a service charge. Was £88 for 3 of us and we had starters and not all mains. Was busy though when we left. Lot of hen parties and birthday parties

Nice decor and friendly staff. Whilst the free bread was nice I felt the mains for the price were over priced. Order chicken shish and felt the chicken was a little over cooked and not super tasty. Probs wouldn’t return

What can I say, where do I start? Food was absolutely excellent there were four in the party and all had different meals. The meals were cooked perfectly, full of flavour and hot.All served at the same time. The staff were polite, knowledgeable and friendly excellent service. The atmosphere was good, laid back and pleasant... perfect to enjoy out meals

I've been here a few times and the service, quality of food and cleanliness has been consistent and top notch. Good selection for vegetarians. It's nice to sit outdoors on a sunny day. The lunchtime menus are good value for money and great for business lunches.

To be honest he service by the staff along with Jerin who was for our table was magnificent along with the food. From the time we stepped in till we left I can’t fault them on anything. Very warm and welcoming , added points for taking care of my daughter by bringing her food out with the appetiser’s. TBH my daughter also very much likes one of the waitresses who made her smile and laugh a lot , and if you make my daughter happy you make me happy.

We went on a Saturday lunchtime. And we both had small plates which were perfect size for a lunch meal. We weren't rushed . The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

A little late with my review as four of us went a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The service was generally just about OK. All four starters were very good and hot. The issue was with the main meal in that all four of them were luke warm at best. There were no complaints about the quality of the food itself it was just the temperature of it. I just wonder if the meals had been left sitting somewhere before being brought to the table as we were offered some main meals which we had not ordered before ours arrived. Our general feeling was that the service was rushed as it only took an hour for us to be seated, served and have the bill presented to us. Not the best experience and would question whether I would go again.
