Great service, great food and atmosphere. loved it! The decor and location give it that extra 'difference' - most definitely worth a visit!

We came for a hen do! Had the best time and the staff here are absolutley brilliant, really looked after everyone. Food was tasty and drinks were good value. A really beautiful place! Can't wait to return.

The venue, ambience, food, drink choices and staff was just amazing! such a great experience. We had a large dinner party in the private Tipi and it really was such a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely attentive, the sharing roast boards were incredible, lots of food and piping hot!

What and excellent find! Really lovely setting in beautiful gardens in Yalding. We enjoyed a superb lunch goats curd and beetroot starter followed by chicken and almond tart. Great food and great value. Service was quick and efficient too

Visited Tipis restaurant the weekend before Valentines Day. This place is a hidden gem. The ambience, the food, the service, all 5 star quality. Almost tempted not to do a review so that this place doesn’t get overwhelmed with people flocking to eat there. The Gardens are open in the winters as closed during summer season for weddings. Will definitely be returning there for future Valentines and Christmas get togethers 🫶🏼🥰

I’ve waited some time to leave this review, mostly due to hoping I’d get some response to a complaint I raised via email back in November 2023, we are in January 2024 now and still no want to rectify the situation. Really poor experience at the restaurant, first of all we were sat right next to a heater which was blasting out so much hot air that both of us were sweating. We ordered the roast platter, and at the time the waitress came back to check to let us know it was for four, we mentioned then we wanted to take back any food as leftovers in a doggy bag - nothing was mentioned at this point about us not being able to take our food away. The idea was to continue the treat and take it for lunch tomorrow to work. At the end of our meal, we were told we weren’t able to take our food home because of ‘Natasha’s Law’ which is incorrect, as that law applies to pre-packaged food only; restaurants, cafes, takeaways(!) have to make allergen information available, and that can be on the menu or verbally. The waitress even commented we could take the food away in a napkin, which seemed both ridiculous, against the whole reason we couldn’t take the food home in the first place, and unhygienic. As a result, we not only wasted a significant amount of food, which we don’t do, we also wasted money. As I mentioned, I raised the complaint directly to the restaurant to no avail. I generally don’t leave reviews but in this case, the amount we spent did not amount to a good experience. I would say, the food was good, and generally the atmosphere was beautiful. Everything in my complaint could have been rectified with some acknowledgment and decent customer service.

Lovely venue and our Sunday lunch was very good too. Eleanor, our waitress, was friendly and made sure we had all that we needed….. a very good ambassador for Tipis.

Amazing service, Elenor was a star and was very attentive. The food was out of this world! Choosing to get married here in 2025 was the best decision!

Fran was a super host The restaurant was full which in itself is a good recommendation. The food was plentiful and very good quality well cooked and nicely presented. If we were to quibble it would be they had run out of Yorkshire puddings .. forgiven as we were the last table in and last out They did off replacement sides Do a great evening

The food was really good. I had the roast chicken, and they even made it for me as a breast instead of on the bone. The setting was really nice and warm and something very different. I'd recommend if you're interested he area to visit. Lovely setting

I booked Tipi’s for my husband’s 50th birthday celebrations with friends and was so glad I did. The venue itself is beautiful and just so different. It really suited the special occasion. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. We all came away saying what a wonderful night we had had and my husband said it was absolutely perfect. My only problem is it is only open as a restaurant until mid March as it is used for weddings so I’m going to have to rebook quickly to get another meal in before then!

The tipi is beautiful! A very romantic and different setting for a Saturday dinner date. We were welcomed in by a very friendly gentleman and taken to our seats. The first sight of the tipi was amazing! It is beautifully decorated. Service was great, very quick and any questions we had were answered with ease. I ordered the haddock fish cakes for starter followed by the stone bass! Fish cakes were ok, very dense and not overly hot but average. The stone bass was delightful! Plenty of green beans and sauce to accompany the dish. My partner had salmon starter, followed by the pork belly. He too enjoyed his meal. Overall a lovely experience and would recommend to friends and family.

We booked for Valentine's Day and although there was no mention of a set menu when booking online, it was wonderful value for money. A glass of Prosecco, amuse bouches, 3-courses and truffles at the end - fantastic! The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. It's very atmospheric and therefore a lovely change from the usual settings. It's my 3rd visit and I'm planning on returning again.

Tipis is a stunning venue with friendly and efficient staff and excellent food. Valentines set menus was excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.
