I come here regularly with friends and our young children. Tasty, well priced meals. The kids meal deal is especially good. You can choose a sandwich or mini pizza, crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink. They have crayons and pages to colour too.

Food is heated not to a good standard even on kids meals. This is horrendous. They have an issue with the staff being diligent and also cleanliness is a major issue, most often we have to clean the table and baby chair ourselves. We go here only because it is our local and kids menu is cheap and despite telling them that the pizza is not cooked properly, they get it wrong.

Worse than expected from M&S Slow service Filthy table and floor Toasted sandwich not crispy No wonder it’s tucked away in a corner of the 1st floor

My wife saw the wonderful ads in the window showing vegan food available in the cafe! So in we walk up to the next level and all the way to the rear of the store! Sadly nothing vegan available!

Looking for a cafe after shopping in the centre and came across this one. Quite a small lunch menu and had a sandwich from the display fridge and ordered chunky chips. The sandwich was quite fresh and the chips ok. It was quite busy so a popular spot.

Lovely ambiance, good food, poor service. We booked a table for lunch for 1.00 pm on a Thursday and arrived at 12.55. Ordered promptly at 1.00 pm and then waited 45 minutes for food to be served. As many others have commented on here, the issue with The Three Chimneys is the quality of service from the waitress staff which varies from indifference to sarcasm and rude.

A lot of people are blaming the cafe for the £7 parking. The parking price is awful and needs addressing, but I'm not sure if you can blame the Cafe for that. Food was good, view was lovely, the price wasn't too high for the food, chips were amazing! We had one issue the second lot of fries were missed but that was sorted out quick and without fuss. Guy on the till was nice about it and just got it all sorted. £2.50 for a Pepsi is a little steep, maybe a drinks machine would allow the prices to drop. Seating was comfortable, tables were clean, allows dogs. Minus that parking fee I'd visit more. Although a note I forgot to say the sausages are NOT dog friendly, maybe they could obtain some unseasoned sausages for dogs. Maybe plain pork ones, 6 for £2 at a super market and sell them at 75p each pre cut for pups ready to go. Allows for £2 profit per pack if you account 50p for cooking consumables.

I brought my granddaughter to The Trough for breakfast, having visited previously and enjoyed my trip. I didn't think that the coffee tasted good and wasn't presented well. We had a mini breakfast and a full English, the service was prompt, though I didn't feel that the breakfast was good value, namely the poached eggs where flat and not hot, bacon was so dry found it difficult to swallow the baked beans were cold along with the toast. A bit disappointed this time.
