The Coach and Horses in Medway

This is a dire pub. No atmosphere. Awful

This place isn’t known as the Coke and horses for nothing. Terrible place, felt unwelcoming from the first moment I went in. Drank half my pint and left

Have used the coach for many moons back when Jeff run it and it was a lively fun pub, then when Meg and Gary had it was very family friendly. The new owners have ruined such a beautiful pub. You can't take kids in there as there glasses littered all around the garden the play area is like a building site. The manager Amanda is rude and cannot be bothered to lift her head out of her phone let alone smile totally unapproachable. We attended Saturday for an oasis tribute and is was dismal. Lazy staff, glasses tossed around garden was a wreck. It seems the coach is on its way put unless your a druggie or wany a fight. Such a shame. Was always so well looked after.

Good old pub lively atmosphere never any trouble always have events on welcoming place

Went yesterday Sunday asked for gin and tonic, was given gin and soda! When we told the barmaid she said they had no tonic and wouldn't change the drink. Who drinks gin and soda? Why not just say we have no tonic. Very poor service, and bar staff unhelpful and inexperienced. Careful what you order

Very sociable and pleasant,no real ale here.

A jolly local pub, no real ale on handpump. Couple of CASK real beers.

Proper cozy boozer with very friendly staff. Never any trouble and a decent selection of drinks. Nice fireplace near the back and a covered area out the back. Probably the best pub in Strood. If they offered a small selection of cooked bar snacks, then definitely a 5 star

Great pub and good beer and I've music

Since the recent change in management the pub and decor has improved. Friendly and welcoming, regular live music and sports on tv. Also recently used the venue for a private party. Great place.

The Coach & Horse's is a pub in Strood. When I visited the pub it appeared to be under refurbishment. It had a fairly uninspiring selection of drinks available. I, along with the other members of my group decided to sit in the garden, which is again uninspiring and also a long walk from the bar area.

Not to bad at all good night but the music was abit loud tho but good a good pub

Great little pub in Strood, especially when Babwah Entertainments are performing! Nice selection of rums including dead man fingers. And staff are very friendly.

Large pub with different areas. The smoking area is the best I have ever seen and the beer was reasonably priced.

Waited 20 minutes for table service and gave up. Can't wait for service at the bar

Popped in for lunch on Thursday with some colleagues from work. Nice newly decorated, good friendly service. Food was lovely. Well recommended for familys and couples, or just to pop in and have lunch like we did. 🙂🙂

Great band (Lee and the hotrods) drinks very expensive

I saw that the pub was under new management so popped in last monday, then again on the tuesday and wednesday, lol. The new staff are very friendly and welcoming. loads of changes seem to be taking place, and a few events already in the calandar, im really looking forward to many more visits. :)

Always wanted to to try this pub. Finally did but was not welcoming at all, especially for a friday night. Won't bother going back. Hopefully i caught them on a bad day
