Morrisons in Milton Keynes

Went this morning for breakfast. Literally got our food straight away, you might think this is good, but how long had it been siting there? It was barely warm, so the hot store is obviously not doing it’s job. Food would be better served on a hot plate too. I’d nearly finished my breakfast before my toast arrived. I like to eat it with my my breakfast. If I’d waited though my food would have been stone cold. I did let Morrisons staff know the food was not hot enough. Let’s hope they can improve this.

I like shopping at this store as it is on the local bus route for me so I can get there in around 5mins. I don't have too far to carry my shopping as the bus stops in the Westcroft complex. I will often stop for a coffee or a snack before going home, and often when I have my grandchildren with me, we will get dinner.

This is now a must visit place for cheap tasty food with prices cut all week. Beakfasts continue to be very good value. Only drawback at present is that they no longer serve scrambled eggs.

Would have given a zero if I could. Dreadful service. Had to ask for table to be cleaned, plates were oily

Tables were dirty and chairs had to ask for table to be cleaned and then only a wet cloth was used and table was left wet. Looking closer you can tell the restaurant has not been cleaned correctly for a long time.We both ordered cooked breakfasts, which were hot but only just hot enough.My own breakfast was short of a piece of bacon and I had ordered extra with the meal so lost out there receiving only one piece.Cheap and cheerful it is and this was a very good restaurant when it 1st opened.But this restaurant really needs to get better, it's on a slippery slope.

I couldn't quite understand when I ordered a cheese omelette in the cafe to be told there wasn't any. Surely with a supermarket that sells eggs,cheese and milk there weren't sufficient supplies. Ordered a small scampi and chips. Scampi fine, chips soggy and the peas not only filled half the plate but were grey and definitely not fresh. Sorry Morrison's will not be dining again.

We have eaten here a few times for breakfast or a coffee. Every time our order has been wrong. The food when it arrives is quite good usually but nothing outstanding.

Another visit for a cooked breakfast The food was very good in taste but could have been hotter. What we did not like was the standard of surroundings. Table was dirty as was the floor sticky in places. As it was only 10 am not too good!

The retail part of this business is good with service,range and efficiency. However when you transfer to the Cafe/Restaurant all these attributes are hard to find. Our order took ages to arrive and some of it was either lukewarm or cold. They seem understaffed and although the place was not full in numbers terms staff seemed under pressure. Upon complaining there seemed to be an acceptance that service/food was not right but it was left there. Would certainly not return and will concentrate on the retail side at least that is fine.

We had been to hospital and we all felt hungry so we went into Morrison’s cafe at westcoft MK .we order our meals after about 20 min it wasn’t busy our meals came up well looked like horrible they taste even worse I had jacket potato with cheese and beans .my mum orderd gammon steak and chips and peas and husband had the breakfast well beans black and cold potato was cold Mum chips was cold and gammon steak was so hard peas was cold .husbands bacon was horrible egg was hard fry not boiled lol so we went back to Kim the cashier we showed the meals she wasn’t happy wit them refunded all the meals and gave them to us so waited again and yet again the food came up and they was all so bad even worse before .again we went see Kim bless her a very nice lady told her about the food was so bad again and we won’t be back to have lunch or nothing .its who is doing the cooking in kitchen in Morrisons cafe at westcroft can’t cook .so sorry to have to write this very bad complaint about the food but Kim was lovely about if all Morrison’s staff was like that would be nice .

Service and food here is always hit and miss. Currently been waiting for fish and chips I ordered 23 mins ago! Also the napkins had run out asked for more but never got them. Seem like they don’t have enough staff I wonder why.😁

Went on Tuesday ordered 2 slices of toast at 0905hrs waited until 0927hrs no toast so I went got money back , table was greasy to not wiped , I did think this cafe was getting better but it’s let down by some noisy and idle staff

Look its a simple cafe inside the cafe , very basic cafe which a=t the end of the day serves simple cheap food. Clearly not high end but does the basics .

Having used this store daily for the past eleven years I have to say I am now reluctant to step foot in the place again. There seems to be an influx of new unfamiliar staff, most of which have no idea what they are doing. More concerning is the continual use of incompetent rude security staff. This evening after leaving the store after a usual shop and visiting other stores I returned to purchase a forgotten item. When leaving the store I was stopped by security who asked for a receipt for my full bag of shopping which I did not have as I had used the self service check out and regularly select the no receipt option as I usually just throw them away. When asked by the manager and another member of staff what reason he had for stopping and asking for my receipt he was unable to give one. Had he have checked CCTV which he was apparently going to do after I had left the store he would have seen I entered with a full bag of shopping and was in the store no long than five minutes, he even witnessed me paying for my item at the kiosk. Whilst I understand security is there with a job to do, I think it is totally unacceptable to stop a customer with no valid reason or explanation as to why! Safe to say unless its unavoidable then whenever possible I will be taking my custom elsewhere even if this means traveling further to shop.

good honest favourites at reasonable prices. the cafe is very clean and the staff are freindly, great place for a full english breakfast to set you up for the weekly shop

Not happy very poor service won't got there again.staff had long faces no help to show you were things were.id rather go all the way to Northampton for my stuff .They never have the cornish pasty and the never offer to c if the can find any out back very very poor service

Breakfast quite good, but as a disabled person it would have been nice if I was offered some help carrying tray

Not a great place to go, the food is ok it is the service or lack of it lets it down, 1st time ordered a simple bacon sandwich after 20 min wait I got my money back, 2nd time ordered poached eggs on toast simple , no another wait both times in between 0845 and 0930 hrs this time got food just but the waitress a rather large loud mouthed lady just slammed the plate down said enjoy and walked off no sorry about the wait, the cuterly not to clean and the table was sticky no supervisor either not enough staff

Drop in to do my shopping and decided to have breakfast. It was very nice and they still do fried bread 😀

The coffee was poor. Despite of the good willness the quality was very bad. Take a real coffee at Costa which is by the store.

We often pop into the Morrisons cafe for a weekend breakfast! It's great value at £3.90 for a little cooked breakfast! Unfortunately on today's visit one of the plates of food came with a extra in the form of a hair!

Another easy and pleasant visit for a quick snack, good selection of food, including hot and cold options. Good value, clean and airy cafe, you cant go wrong.

£4.50 for a full breakfast. I made my own, this was slightly more in comparison. All food came out hot, even the toast.

The food and the staff are nice here but the hot chocolate has no flavor and is watery,i think it's because they use the hot drinks machines x

cheap superstore fayre, not somewhere I would choose but better than Tescos but not that cheap. Simple cafe

I normally purchase Morrisons fish pie from the CMK store and to be honest, I can't recommend this product enough. Today however, I went to the westcroft store and was initially a little disappointed with what I saw, packaging smaller and mash just dumped on top (no presentation at all). I did purchase the item but afterwards went to customer services (who were great), they called Ryan on the fish counter and he came and looked at the pie and straight away told me he would make me a fresh one and apologised for the one I had just purchased. He did and did a lovely job. So, again, Morrisons have delivered an outstanding service. Thank you Ryan (fish counter man)

Great food from a supermarket cafe fast service and do unlimited drinks also have wi-fi and easy parking love this shop .

Ordered a big breakfast, meat free and an omelette breakfast. Pretty good value for money. I'm letter slightly pricey but as I didn't cook can't complain too much! All items seemed to be of good quality and the beans were Heinz. Mushrooms weren't cooked enough but tasted ok. Orange juice nice and fruity. Coke well it's coke. The chocolate milkshake was very chocolaty and thick. Staff were polite and the food was served quite quickly. It looked clean and tidy and we'll kept. Would definately go back for some more.

It's a basic cafe, food is nice and simple and cheap. Good choice of food and drink, and the cafe was clean. The staff seemed a bit distant and bored but overall you get what you pay for and I Would return for a quick pit stop bite

Nice coffee. Food is average. Environment is pleasant. Staff let it down. Unhelpful and unfriendly. Not enough staff on duty to keep place cleaned up, especially after lunch period.

one of the best supermarket cafe's in MK, we usually have scampi, fish and chips or breakfast, always well cooked and good value

Nice super market with wide variaties of products with generally good prices. Good location and adjacent to Costa cafe. Boots, poundland , B&M; and some other fast food restaurant are also in the proximity.

Ate there other week at lunch time, fish had a lot of batter on it, peas were not nice and chips only warm

Very good value lunch for two if us full breakfast roast chicken dinner chocolate fudge cake bread and butter pudding 2 cold drinks £15.80; and the portions were huge

The layout is at best confusing! the cakes,bread etc all by the door.The meat section is very limited,very rarely do they have fillet.The only good thing is the staff are pleasant

I have had many mini breakfasts here and they have all been extremely good value for money, my wife recently had the eggs benedict and said that it was very good, if a little too much dressing. Will definitely be going back again.

Morrisons continues to provide superb breakfasts. Indeed of all the meals on offer across various times of the day the "Big Breakfast" with toast and tea is very difficult to beat.

Have had lots of negative feedback about the quality of this restaurant but on visiting it this time I was amazed at the changes.

If visiting the store then you cant go wrong popping into this pleasant in-store cafe, prices are very good and the food is pleasant. They do a great value breakfast. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Its worth visiting.

Good food at an exceptional price. Menu is varied and served quickly. Clean and tidy. Food has improved significantly since previous visit.

The best value for money breakfast in Milton Keynes! Superb quality as well as range of food and freshly cooked. Staff are effecient and friendly.
