Visited with my grandchildren staff unwelcoming and very rude First time trying this cafe and definitely won’t return the staff need some customer care training

We popped in for dessert to celebrate my sons 16th birthday and we enjoyed them so much. The birthday boy had a Bueno Waffle, his brother had chocolate cookie dough with Bueno and I shared an hot and cold sundae with my boyfriend.

Wonderful dessert café. No matter what you choose, it will be excellent. The crepes are divine especially loaded with milk chocolate sauce and white chocolate curls and delicious gelato. I can't recommend this place enough.

We are not local but have been here a couple of times and the staff are really friendly which always makes us want to return. Lovely desserts too of course!

we ordered for 7 people and they had got one order wrong. They then refused to give us any form of compensation and were rude to us, specially targeting one individual.

Very attentive staff- Faisal (russel) very friendly and made sure everything was ok. Food lovely- would definitely return.

We brought our two boys in for a dessert after a cinema trip. We walked in and just got stared at by the staff, no smile, no hello nothing. We actually asked if it was open because the unfriendliness was weird and the atmosphere was awful. It actually felt really uncomfortable so we just left! There wasn’t a sole in the place which made sense after the vibe we felt when we walked in. We went to a different dessert place instead! Try smiling at least next time ladies rather than looking at us like we just did something wrong by entering.

My friend and I came here for pudding after having a meal nearby. We walked in and wasn’t sure how to order, there were no menus. The staff behind the counter directed us to the table tucked away by the entrance and said to help ourselves to a menu and a table and come back up to order. We changed tables because it was a bit breezy where we were sat, then realised the entire place was just cold. Placed our order, they honoured Blue Light Card discount, and the desserts were served quickly. I went for the gelato which was really delicious. Wouldn’t normally just go somewhere for dessert but having previously been to a nearby dessert cafe, Creams doesn’t feel special at all and I wouldn’t make a point of returning or recommending them to others.

The price of a doughnut is just extortionate!!! 4 adults and 2 children visited and did not feel it was anything special I ordered luxury hot chocolate which arrived approx 5 minutes after the first item on our order. There was nothing luxury about it - just a glass of hot chocolate with no cream or anything to add “luxury” Would not visit again

If you like Creams, then you won't be disappointed. It has great number of high priced puddings, desserts, and hot and cold drinks. Quality is as you'd expect, and the queueing system is just as confusing here as it is at other Creams restaurants. Staff are polite but they always seem to be dazed and this venue is no different. I came here with my family (wife and two teenage daughters) and my brother and his family (his wife and three children). We managed to fit in a booth, as it wasn't busy, otherwise I'm not sure where we would have sat! As I've said, if you like Creams, and too be fair it's not bad, then you'll be happy.

The place itself is alright but the staff is trash. Not only do you get poor service you also get the impression that these people working there either don't care or are the owners. Either way, stay away and do not give them your money - plenty of other places to get deserts in Milton Keynes.

Ordered and was told a 15 minute wait, which was fine. However 45 minutes later we asked how much longer, and the guy says they have no desserts waiting to go out. He then went to check, came back and lied saying that they were there and would be coming soon however we could see them start making our deserts which were delivered one by one so we didn’t even eat together. Staff didn’t even apologise or admit that they had forgotten, absolutely terrible.

Completely caught us off guard. Had no idea what was actually happening until I looked all around me. Sunday evening, popped in for some quick deserts. There were people sat inside eating, some at the counter ordering and others by the entrance deciding whether to go in. I went in and took a seat, my partner went up to order. He placed his order and was told it’s take-out only. So he agreed. The chap behind him ordered & he was asked whether he was eating in or taking out. Strange but we didn’t question it. Partner waited for our order and once he got the bag he walked over to me & took a seat as I was on a phone call. Within seconds we was approached & told “we’re actually closed & you need to leave”. To which we simply got up to leave. I looked around and saw three other booths with people eating, and others coming in still. Why were they not approached? Why only us. I looked again. All the staff, the customers eating, the chap who ordered after us & those still coming in were all Indian-Asian (apologies if this is not the correct term). Basically, we were not their colour. That is the ONLY difference I could imagine was the reason we was treated different to everyone else. It was absolutely bizarre. As if I’m this day and age we are still being victimised for our colours! Do not recommend this cafe. Would hate for anyone to be made to feel this way. I understand there are racists in all cultures. I am not one of them. This is unacceptable.

Staff are rude and very unfriendly. We were charged £1 for a few sprinkles on top of an ice cream and another pound for a thin line of chocolate sauce on top of ice cream. Absolute disgrace.

Made a delivery order, spoke so Shah on the phone. He was very helpful and so nice. What a top bloke!! Helped me out with anything I needed and really sorted me out with my order. 10/10 service and 10/10 waffle

Visited today just for a bubble tea and was very close to walking out before I even paid due to the terrible customer service from the wannabe gangster on the till. Using that awful fake chav voice "Tap your card there yeah" "just go stand there" so rude and abrupt with the attitude as if we'd offended him by coming in to order. (You’re not hard, you work in an ice cream parlour haha) Was then told 10-15 for one bubble tea. A guy I assume was the manager was also rude and slammed the straw down on the counter with such aggression. We vowed to never step foot in the place again. The whole place and everyone that works there needs a good wash and a reality check. All the customers inside looked miserable and like they were complaining about everything. Why do people like this go for customer service jobs? Go and work in an office and stop spreading your misery. Also the people behind the tills were laughing together like they get a kick out of being rude to people. Really embarrassing establishment, terrible service, staff that think being rude means they’re cool and long wait times, plus grubbiness… Just avoid, every thing is disgusting! Unless you like chavs with bad attitudes, serving you mediocre, over priced desserts.. in that case it’s for you. Feel like I need a wash just being in there please just choose a different dessert place, there’s others in the area that our far superior in every single way. Don’t give your money to these rude creatures.

Went to the Milton Keynes branch in Xcape yesterday. Had the worst possible service & dessert ever. I ordered 2 waffles, one was fine, the other was terrible. It was all drenched in strawberry sauce. It was meant to be strawberry waffle with ice cream. I took a few bites & couldnt tolerate anymore. I spoke to the manager & told him that this was inedible & if he could replace it with one with less sauce. At first he refused then he tried to charge me for another one as he said I did not specify how much sauce I wanted. I told him even a child would refuse this. He was arrogant & did not listen to our views. So we left unhappy, I did not have a dessert in the end & was refused a refund. It spoilt our day out. Disgusted with the lack of customer service skills & no communication skills whatsoever. This needs to be addressed.

All we ordered was a bubble tea and a piece of carrot cake to take out, it took 20 mins just standing there in a queue after we’d queued to order. My daughter ordered a cookie dough sundae and it took 30 mins, with two little kids, that’s not easy! When she told a staff member how long she’d been waiting, he couldn’t have been less bothered. Pretty bad customer service. Food wasn’t great either and very expensive. Don’t bother with this place unless you have a lot of time and don’t mind mediocre food at a high price!

We come in to Creams @ Xscape every Wednesday after the girl I look after finish school. The staff her are so lovely and always, without fail kind & helpful! The comes out so quickly and is completely delicious! I can’t fault this store whatsoever!

Shocking service! Staff are sarcastic and rude and the manager seems incapable of admitting he is in the wrong. Dirty tables, facemask’s (if wearing any) Were regularly being removed! Waffle was dry. Cookie dough had a hair in it. Have to wait 10 mins minimum between each item coming to your table so dont expect to eat together. Order was originally wrong. I can see why the que for kaspa’s was so big and it wasn't here. Dont waste your money. Will not be returning even if deserts were free!

Went for a tasty treat and ended up with nothing but tasteless disappointment. Pancake was under cooked, staff were unhelpful, dismissive, rude & think they are above everyone, tables were absolutely filth, basic hygiene standards were appalling, manager was visibly sweaty and wiped his head with his hand and carried on serving food, customer service didn’t exists, food came out all at different times & it was an appalling experience all round. Absolute joke of a place and a complete and utter embarrassment. Place should be shut down. AVOID UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!

So, we had to wait 40 minutes for a table which is fine due current situation. We got our table for four and ordered 4 items, within 5 minutes of sitting. The ice-cream came out within 5 minutes we then waited another 15 minutes for a waffle then after asked about the other two items on the order to be told that it’s just being made which took a further 10minutes to get these items which were pancakes and hot cookie dough. The manager came over and said we were told when ordering thar we won’t get the order all together and was told by the manager to get up and go to the till to look at the screen to prove a point which is inappropriate whilst eating. By this point the first two had finished their desserts, the hot cookie dough was ordered with no ice-cream which came out with ice-cream on so when speaking to the manager the young bloke making the order apologised for the mistake and another one was made and on our table within a minute. The manager then bought food over to the table next to us and made a loud deliberate comment of “thank you so much for waiting it’s actually appreciated” and walked off smirking. As leaving the shop, the young guy behind the counter shouted across the whole shop saying “thank you so much have a nice evening” extreme rude and sarcastic And laughing considering they never made comments to anyone else leaving throughout our dining experience. With this the manger shouted at us the same comment then added “that’s good customer service that is” whilst standing up and pointing out to the rest of the diners still eating deliberately trying to embarrass us whilst leaving. My partner suffers with anxiety and has just had a panic attack due to the sheer embarrassment and humiliation when all we wanted was a nice evening with our deserts yet being treated with utter disrespect and the customer service was abysmal. Also to add with the current world pandemic I am extremely shocked and disgusted that the tables weren’t cleaned and the staff are not wearing face masks and the small amount who had masks didn’t even have them covering their nose and mouth as clearly stated. I will not recommend anyone to dine in or take away.

Disgusting! Although there weren’t many customers, we waited over 45 minutes to receive our order. Then we didn’t receive it at the same time and waited another five minutes to get straws. We ordered five drinks and two cheesecakes. Wouldn’t have thought it would take so long to plate up two cheesecakes. Four bubble teas were horrible, really weak, no flavour. I am amazed they can still be open. The main guy was wearing a visor and touching his face in between taking orders and preparing food. Noticed a couple who ordered after us. The guy received his waffle before we received our order but his partner waited another twenty minutes before hers arrived. I could see six staff members which should have been able to cope with the few customers but they were totally disorganised. I’m very concerned about the lack of cleaning and hygiene, nothing obvious. The toilet was evil with mess all over the floor, no obvious cleaning and no hand soap. It was an absolute disgrace! Never again!

The service and food where second to none, the atmosphere and staff where great also! Especially a young man named Shakib. Great place!!

I have been here twice and both times, the staff have been fantastic. Customer services is ok in most places but exception at the Xscape Cremes.The manager Sha was friendly and explained what portion sizes and suggestions (their portions are big and surprising meal size), the food came earlier than expected and the staff were genuinely friendly. You can tell they are happy in their jobs. I have recommended Cremes and we will go back again.Happy customers

I visited this Milton Keynes branch with my son.We were having a great experience until... my son needed to go to the toilet. I left our food on the table alongside my bag, glasses and jumper so I could quickly show him where to go, (he’s still a little uneasy doing some stuff by himself)And when I returned the food that I hadn’t finished had been taken. I approached a member of staff about it who then disappeared and I never saw again. I was so annoyed at this point I left!If we had finished with the food I wouldn’t have left my belongings!!!Experience ruined. I was impressed by the gluten free cookie dough and was quite enjoying it. Just a shame I wasn’t given the chance to finish. Disappointing really as I had posted on instagram about our visit.I did email their customer services and funnily enough had no feedback from them either.

Our family was very disappointed with the customer service provider during our visit today. If we had not promised our son a special treat we would have left without eating the waffles. The server delivered 2 waffles to our table, my husband then after 10 minutes asked where his waffle was?To be told "so what read the sign,not my problem "How rude, one of the other staff then told us to go up to the till for a refund, well you cannot refund rudeness or poor service. I would suggest some customer service training for the team on duty today, don't think the manager knows about how his staff treat customers. We will not be back.

It was our first night out in 2 years.After the movie we decided to go to creams and my partner ordered the cookie dough and I had there new savoury waffle and nachos to share.I guess it was pulled beef waffle, oh yes It tasted so delicious. The feta cheese and jalapeño went really well with it.The restaurant was very busy and the staffs were all very friendly.I highly recommend the beef waffle and nachos as this place going to be on my favourite list.Thank you for a lovely night.

Myself & my family went for our first visit to creams on a Sunday evening , they where extremely busy ( I assume due to the firework display locally ) so we where apprehensive , however the service was AMAZING , the staff serving the food and on the till where super friendly and polite nothing was too much to ask , water ( free ) , takeaway boxes , extra cutlery - we where quite your nightmare table but they didn’t seem to mind , the food was delicious , I had an invent your own cookie dough & my dad had the nachos from their new savoury menu - something for everyone!! My siblings loved the vibe of the place , with fun pictures around the shop and booth style seating it feels like an experience rather than just a meal out , they now want to save up their pocket money to go again we noticed they had delivery options so we ordered a waffle for my mum (on deliveroo) who had stayed home as she wasn’t very well & it arrived looking just as good as in the restaurant. Amazing - a new family favourite :) I love that you can go on a budget and have a waffle for as cheap as £4.50 or you can go all out & add endless toppings , sauces and goodies .

Visited around a month ago; food was nice but service wasn't great. We were brought the wrong desert initially, when returning it, you could see the staff all arguing over the fact someone had made a mistake.

Visited with 2 friends after the cinema. Seems to be run by teenagers who sadly aren't up to the job. Huge menu, I mean loads to choose from but very little for my gluten free friend. She was offered vegan instead! She ordered GF apple crumble which arrived on top of a normal waffle! Then the waiter raced back to take it away as it was not GF! I was given 2 cartons of long life milk substitute for my expensive cup of tea, 1 friend's coffee was full of grease and floating bits and the other had been spilled in the saucer and a napkin laid on the spill! Everything was brought bit by bit, even 3 hot drinks were all brought separately. The lad apologised and gave my GF friend a refund but the lady at the till who made mistake ignored us. Won't be in a hurry to return.

Love this place the food is amazing the staff are just OK they like to chat amongst themselves I've been six times and I've found every time they have been like this I put it down to their age but the deserts out whieght the service so we will continue to return.

Desserts for lunch! Nothing is better than this. The perfect treat for a special occasion. So much to choose from we’ll have to come again to try something different. Close to the bowling as well !

Please don't let the average score put you off, there is nothing wrong with this place, its just for us after weve seen all these beautiful ice creams and deserts, that they just don't have that final wow factor once they've entered your mouth. Still tasty, just not AMAZZZZING.

I have never been in a restaurant that only sells deserts so I thought it would be fun to try one. I was not left disappointed, the menu is full of the most amazing deserts I have ever seen and if you can’t find what you want you can make your own one up. The food was outstanding and served very quickly by friendly staff. I had a waffle that was the size of my plate generously covered in toppings yum! I would really recommend this restaurant for everyone just don’t eat anything before you go.

I absolutely love puddings. I am a chocoholic! I love ice cream and everything sweet! This was our first visit and overall we were impressed and enjoyed ourselves. It was very busy and unfortunately we didn't get our order at the same time... And there were only 2 of us so I don't think this is acceptable. All the other tables had the same issue. You have to order at the bar rather than waiter service, I don't know if that makes a difference... I feel the menu is just too big! I didn't know where to start! I ordered a sundae and I was happy with it. Great quality ice cream and a good portion size for the price. My hubby couldn't finish his waffle. I saw lots of tables of kids not finishing their waffles or crepes so perhaps if you have kids it would be wise to share the puddings. They didn't seem to have a kids menu but then maybe we didn't see it as we are adults!!! Didn't use toilet facilities so can't comment.

i came in on my own and i was served by a young man who i believe his name was Abdully. he was such an awesome guy, very friendly and made me feel comfortable and right at home. he tended to my every need and made me feel like i was eating at a five star restaurant, this is not your regular dessert bar! i would come in again just to experience the amazing service that Abdully and the rest of the staff gave me. the food was delicious and the ice cream was especially great

came here for lunch on my own , staff where very attentive and seated me somewhere quiet and not near other families. Menu was huge and they could meet my dreams by adding toppings and sauces I wanted on to an already huge dessert ! I left having enjoyed it so much that I brought my family in the following weekend and had an equally as great experience , weekend was busier but still just as good service , a great brand standard.

Take my granddaughter there at lunch time when it is always very quiet. Staff are not the most engaging. Children's menu is also a colouring/ drawing booklet but had been used so got another one that was also used. Staff should check they are blank before giving them out to children and not issue ones that have been used.

Went with my kids and friends. Kids especially loved the whole thing since they were given crayons. The manager and owner were also very hospitable which is really appreciable. Since, I had to wait for a long time in that mall, so I had the chance to taste almost all of their specialities. Their mango sorbet was out of the world. Tried the cinnamon waffle with maple syrup served with cream and ice cream which was also really mouth watering. The bread and butter was one of their new addition which was amazing. The cold coffee was just perfect to end up with. I would absolutely love to visit again.

When we visited the staff generally seemed pretty disinterested, after quite a wait everything came out bar one dessert which took quite some time (would understand if it required more attention but it was actually something easier/quicker to make than the items already brought out). It was just sitting on the counter for ages (it was quiet in the cafe), the staff member serving us didnt really seem like they wanted to be there. Nothing wrong with the desserts at all, they were pleasant but service is lacking.

I love the cookie dough here - big enough to share but do-able if you don't want to! The only thing that put me off was that not everyone preparing food was wearing gloves and a hairnet. As ours was something from the oven, I didn't mind too much but I wouldn't have ordered something that required assembly!

Came to Creams for desserr after a me out with family. Seated quickly and given menus. Went to the till to order when my sister in law spotted a poster with a lotus biscoff waffle which looked pretty good (note: the poster had no other information so could only assume it was new).

Went with a few of my friends, and I didn’t order anything as didn’t have much money and wasn’t as hungry as everyone else. The manager could clearly see I had been through a bad experience as I had bruises all over me and a black eye as I had been attacked a couple of days before. He also saw that all my friends were eating and I wasn’t, and came over with some cookie dough and said ‘this is for you it’s on the house’. Loveliest man I have ever met and want to thank him again for his kindness. 100% will be returning !

Not a happy customer, when we got there we were handed a menu to look at and no one came back to us to see if we would like to take a seat, we ordered our desserts and instead of bringing out the 2 desserts together they brought the ice cream order out on its own leaving my partner waiting for his, the staff were not very welcoming and we couldn’t wait to finish and leave

Just been to Creams Cafe Xscape store, bursting with customers but still managed to get our food within 10 minutes of ordering. Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

We went here for my daughters birthday treat, she was 33, so not a child, she could not eat all of the crepe she had, we only drank water and i had a raspberry and white chocolate crepe with icescream. It looked amazing, but because it was syrup flavoured sauce with my first mouthful i was like OMG this is too sweet. i did manage to eat all of mine (and to be fair the price was reasonable £11.40 for both sweets) but we drank 2 litres of water while sitting there.

Went here because the local Kaspas didn’t have much left that we liked.Glad we visited, the lady (didn’t get her name) with the blonde hair was very welcoming and we sat where we wanted.After purchasing our food the desserts started to come out, my son had a chocolate milkshake which was so thick he struggled to stir it, he did enjoy it though.I have the hot cookie dough which was nice but a bit too sweet, the ice cream helped though.The lady that served us at the till came over to apologise that she had overcharged me for a dessert and asked me to come to the till for a refund.I can’t fault their honesty.
