Morrisons small breakfast are always great value & taste but here the service was excellent too friendly & floor member of staff going above & beyond with attention to detail too Thankyou & well done 👏 ✔️

Only go here if you want a breakfast because it's all they ever have available. If there's more than 2 people in the cafe it will be at least a 45 minute wait. The fizzy drink machine has been broken for nearly a year, a smaller range of drinks is avaible in the chiller cabnet. I really don't know why morissons doesn't invest in more staff for this cafe as it could be very successfull.

I don't expect much for £5 but to sell brown water as gravy is taking the Mick!

Second visit here in last 2 weeks, half the menu not available, coffee machine and hot water machine broken. No heating, apparently its been broken for months. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. It needs a revamp

Lady at service was rude. Basically felt like she did nt want to serve me (there’s only two of us !). She said there’s a 30 min wait for a bacon roll and coffee ! No rolls only bread (store full of rolls next to her). Won’t be visiting this store until sorted. Walked out. Went to Sainsbury’s instead.

Waited over 25 mins for food despite store being dry empty. Cutlery was filthy, i want to say it’s egg that’s stuck on them most likely from the previous people who ordered. Food being left on display for over 10 minutes . DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SICK!!

Great stuffs services, great good, highly recommended

The cafe was obviously understaffed. Almost every table was covered in dirty plates at 11:45am and the floor needed to be swept. We ordered a full breakfast and poached eggs and avocado on toast with a tea and a coffee. The tea bags, tea pots, mugs and coffee things were kept in three different locations (I had to go back to the counter and ask for a tea bag) and most of the sugar, milk and condiments containers were empty. When the food arrived, everything on the full breakfast was overcooked except the tomato which was raw. The poached eggs on toast was stone cold to the centre of the eggs. There were no sauces. Staff were polite and friendly. It wasn’t their fault Morrisons don’t employ enough staff

chips were hollow, dry and bland, was like biting into a mouthful of sand. asked for some ketchup to assist with the dryness and in return i was given a singular sachet for a whole plate of chips. i get cost of living and all that but this place felt like we were back in ww2 getting rations!

Go there every Wednesday for breakfast

Absolute joke, forgot the beans, forgot the sausages, overcooked fried egg followed by uncooked egg. Inedible mushroom harder than a ginger nut. Dirty cups.

I come here maybe once a year. And when I do it reminds me why I don’t go more often. It is just complete chaos. 90% of the menu wasn’t available. They only had breakfast items (it was after 2pm) It was incredibly chaotic. It took forever and nothing worked smoothly. To make it worse the bacon was disgusting … so salty that it tastes like a sore throat feels. Horrible! The other ingredients were OK. The whole experience reminded me why I will not order groceries from Amazon — it’s because they’re supplied by Morrisons and I just do not trust Morrisons. This experience only reinforced that opinion. Something is seriously wrong with this place.

Great breakfast for the money. Staff are great. Can get slight delay when is just opening in morning at weekends. Will be back.

Very satisfied with everything. The prices of food is very reasonable and not expensive. There are some deals as well so you get even more for less. Staff is great friendly and professional. Food was tasty and good enough portions. Definitely recommend this cafe for a quick bite, breakfast, lunch or dinner definitely worth trying. Will come back for sure.

We went in on a Saturday and the menu was out for all food but at the counter we were told that they only had food foe English Breakfast as they had run out of all other food but we decided to stay anyway. The guy on the counter taking orders was rude and when we got the food it was freezing and the eggs were not cooked at all. They had dishes just sat on the counter for ages before they took them to people, it was very bad all round. Shame as always go in and normally okay, just hope it doesn't keep happening. They also should have taken the boards down which showed the fish and chips and other food as many families only came in for food and had to leave.

Staff are friendly, food is some what ok but a majority of the place is filthy especially round the hot drinks machines.

The girl at the till was quite rude and staff looked like they couldn't be bothered to be there. My husband ordered bangers and mash, which were fine. I ordered toast with avocado and poached eggs, the kitchen came back to say that they have trouble poaching the eggs and offered scrambled eggs to which I agreed. The scrambled eggs were a little crunchy, which can happen to anyone, but when I found big chunks of eggshell, it was too much. Very disappointed 😞

Bought package steak (rump) here yesterday, Thursday 30th March 2023, on offer at £6.99 pack of two. Claimed to be British farm (union jack on packet). Meat awful. Tried to phone the store today (31st). 45 min wait time. In a nutshell, walk past this offer. Meat could be used to make wellington boots.

I don't know what's matter with cafe staffs but they are always look unhappy and irritated. The website said open 8am and I popped in 8:30am but the cafe staff said we haven't opened yet loudly to me. Great customer service👎 If you haven't opened yet you should change official website information and show the sign for customers.

Absolute joke took 20min to get served as the lad did not no how to work the till and when the food finally came out they had no cutlery and was told its all in the dish washer the place was not even busy so there is no excuse .then it took me 15 more minutes to get a refund.the place is an absolute joke and should be shut if the clowns that work there cant run it..if i run my business like that id be bankrupt within a week.and not even worth the 1 star iv had to give it to write a review.and when the manager finally came down to refund me did not even say sorry just walked off.WHAT A JOKE

We waited 45min to be told they didn't have our food. They then took our order and we waited again. Not enough staff, didn't have milk for tea! I came with a little one and she was starving after 1hr wait and proper cranky. The café was freezing, we all had to keep our coats on. I'm not coming here again, simple.

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for

So disappointed with the breakfast, after lock down and looking forward to a freshly cooked breakfast only to be given one that been pre cooked and.kept warm at best, the bacon was hard and crispy sausage ok but the egg was cooked in dirty oil and left to steep until the yolk was like abullet. Only good this was the toast and beans

No option to chose sides, tried to order chicken half and change fries to mashed potatoes, but had no option. So chose fish and mashed potatoes, asked for fresh salat but unfortunately couldn’t combine it and had to pick from beans or peas. Portion was good size for a price, but unfortunately fish was over cooked, you could see a big difference comparing with table next to you. Fish had no taste and was chewy, seemed like defrosted several times. Mash potatoes, didn’t taste like real, could see some bits not reminding real potatoes in the mash. The location is good and to be honest wouldn’t expect more, smile from cashier/waitress would be good start of the change.

Quite disappointed. Customer service was not as inviting as others. Unfortunately a lot of items were off the menu (considering the huge promotions and posters but ran out of 3/5 (Mon-Fri offers) dishes. Tried ordering a bunch of stuff but all were off the menu. So I went for a simple breakfast instead (cost £11 for veg breakfast, chips and 2 garlic bread. which they told me after ordering that it had missing items due to running out. Most items were off the menu, considering the recipes are all Morisons goods from the store im surprised it’s hard to have items off the menu, so even more disappointed. Due to back to back service of no food, long waits with an empty cafe, this was only deserving of 2/5.

Went to morrisons to shop and have a lunch, we sat down to look at menu and decided what we wanted . I went to counter and was told we have no breakfast items, so all things associated with breakfast were not Avaliable . this was 11.30 in the morning and we were in a bl--y super market WHY could they not have got them from store , told the lady that it was unbelievable to have no stuff why open with no stuff wont go back

We come here for breakfast a lot. The food is consistently good, the staff are friendly and there's always plenty of seating available.

Really filling everything was hot and tasty for £7 can't go wrong

This is way below par compared to other Morrisons cafe. Service was non existence. Food was worse than what you'd expect from other Morrisons cafe

Good value breakfast. Contactless ordering. Efficient, quick and the food was good. Easy parking in what is a relatively new Morrison's store.

Dirty tables, Dirty cutlery, cold food. Was trying to find a positive which was difficult but the staff were friendly.

I went a week ago (last Saturday) and they had little to no options available. I had a vegan breakfast sans the fake meat, so I basically just had toast, beans and hash brown. A waste of £17. My food went cold while I waited for someone to see me waiting for a knife and fork as the pots were empty :) Every other time I’ve been here there’s been little to no issues - aside from when they gave me one little carton of apple juice when I ordered a large class for less than £2. Yep.

I am here every weekend for breakfast. Breakfasts are consistently.great here. Decent portions, hot unlike in some places and the team are always brilliant. Only think o would say is that they need more resource. You can see they are under the cosh but even then, always have a smile. Great work !!

Extremely rude staff. It used to be very friendly and welcoming not anymore. Prices have increased and portion sizes have halved. Shocking won’t be returning.

Popped in for a bite to eat. They have the tables outside at the moment. The menu is limited but ok considering. You order at the till then they bring the food out. Ok, its.not gourmet food but for a snack tea it was good. Actually nice to sit outside, its also relatively sheltered. Clean and organized.

Social distancing in place well. I was given a designated table so felt safe. Nice to still get a cup of tea in these crazy times.

Hi i was in uour cafe today it was terrible we waited in the queue for 30minutes just to get a table then a further 25 minutes at your counter to order food !. Your staff appeared really slow and miserable . I don't think we'll Be coming back to this cafe at Central Milton Keynes its the worst i've ever visited . Your cafe at Westcroft seems much better. The qualityof the food was pretty bad too at a lunchtime no jacket potatoes and no slices of cake and only three packs of sandwiches on display .

Give them another shot but no improvement, the lady behind the counter with no smile so rude not even wanted to answer any of my questions ! Unbelievable!

Always reliable, quick and with a genuine smile, the management from Tesco cafes should come here and learn how it should be done.The food is good quality, with generous portions, and served quickly. The restaurant itself is clean, and kept clean by staff who do appear to care. The prices are good, and the service is "with a smile".The offering here is consistently good - I would recommend this cafe.

This place has gone down hill. I used to enjoy a meal at Morrisons. I don't eat there any more.

You can always get a good breakfast in the cafe at a reasonable price. Staff are so friendly and helpful. One drawback is that sometimes the food could be hotter.

The supermarket is generally very good but the service in the cafe is shocking and they are clearly lacking staff in there. eat there on a sunday, having to wait 40 mins for the meal. was told untill 20 mins after ordering that they had no mash. they were also unable to serve any roast dinners on a sunday despite advertising it. when meal did finally arrived, the mash was cold and was missing half of it as also failed to tell me that they had no peas and gravy. also tried to compensate with beans which can't eat, and failed to ask me if i wanted them. no service in here and no communication. then they say that lack of supplies and only getting half of a meal is beyond thier control. need better and more cafe staff and don't go there on a weekend. which is a shame as if you do finally get everything you ordered, the food is actually really nice

Not very happy of some of the oily toast

Very rarely have a full menu, we shop there and every week 50% of the food advertised is not available, last time it was pies were off the menu, even though they were on sale in the in store bakery!

Went for breakfast with the family on Sunday but what a joke! First they got it all wrong, the toast was not even a toast the hash browns was burn, when we told them they got the order wrong the guy was so rude and asked to see the receipt didn’t even say sorry! At the end of the day is not about the money don’t care if it’s 50p or 50 pounds is the service you get! At this point you may be better off to Ikea!

The last time I came into Morrison's to try their cafe I was a little disappointed. I have avoided it for some while, but this morning, a Sunday, I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and give it another go. I wish I'd never bothered. I don't know what to think, but I think it's deteriorated. First, the cabinet where you queue to choose something to eat was virtually bare. I know what the Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe must have thought when she found nothing much in her cupboard. Not so much as a decent sandwich or roll. A scanty selection of lifeless cakes and what looked like dried-out sausage rolls which had seen better days. I then thought I'd order using the computerised system, but, would you believe it? (No, I wouldn't actually, come to think of it.) IT WAS OUT OF ORDER!) So . . . I could have walked out, but I didn't because I was determined to get something to eat. I got as far as the till and glanced at the menu over-head on the wall behind the servery and asked the lady behind the till if i could have a Big Breakfast (it may have actually have been 'Large Breakfast,' but it would have made little difference.) It then turned into the famous 'Monty Python' spam sketch 'sorry dear, spams off. . .' no she didn't say that, but she might as well. Most of what I asked for was off, for whatever reason. I went for the 'Small Breakfast.' I also ordered a latte and went to my table to await the arrival of my cooked meal and drank my latte. Even that lacked a certain something. I can't think what, but considering it came from a machine which you operate yourself, I shouldn't complain The cooked breakfast arrived about 10 minutes later and it wasn't much better than the latte. Just not very appetising, to be honest. So, what were my over-all impressions of this café? Sorry, but not very encouraging, and if you intend doing your shopping in this particular branch of Morrisons, don't bother. I think William Morrison, founder of the company in 1899 (which is stated clearly on most of the products they sell.) he would be turning in this grave to think this was the standard his stores have lowered themselves to become in 2019.

Good value for money, big breakfast with extra egg cost £5.50 (2x bacon, 2x sausages, 2x eggs - choice of fried, poached or scrambled, 1/2 fried slice, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, 1/2 tomato and and beans). Friendly staff, food was quick to arrive and hot. Quality was very average though which is why only 3 stars. If I could rate it 3.5 stars then I would. Price did not include a drink. Perfect for a quick bite to eat before shopping which will mean less bad choices going into my shopping basket (nothing as dangerous as shopping on an empty stomach) 😁

Food in the cafe is better presented than at Westcroft, but Westcroft has the better/greater selection of goods in the main store, but this store has the underground carpark, which is a God send when shopping with Mum in her wheelchair during bad weather.

Morrisons cafe was my family go to supermarket cafe for many years, but in the past year we've had some bad food experiences in this cafe. Most recently we went in to find signs saying breakfast food only, but previous experience with their breakfast ment we chose the sandwiches instead. A ham & cheese toastie and two tuna melt panini's were what we chose, and they arrived at the table looking greasy and soft. We're pretty sure they microwaved the sandwiches instead of oven or grill heated. Despite that they tasted okay, but had an aweful consistency and left an unpleasant feeling in our stomachs. We won't be eating there again.

Ordered breakfast with my Family and everyone’s came but they didn’t bother to even make mine, staff took ages to sort it out so whilst everyone had eaten I was still waiting. Brang my food out and the waiter realised they did it wrong so he took it back can back out 10 mins later with another one. The food was cold, my breakfast swam in oil too , pretty bad for a chained store

Didn't have any of the 5 different food choices I tried to order. No explanation or apologies, manager laughed behind. We won't be back

I'd been to church this particular morning. The sermon was on 'Excellence', but I'm sorry to say there wasn't a lot on display in Morrison's cafe. No sandwiches to speak of in the chiller cabinet as I attempted to queue, dirty table tops when I eventually sat down to eat, and s-l-o-w service, which is enough to put off any customer. If I want to eat, have a sit-down when I'd worn out having spent goodness knows how long shopping, particularly pushing a trolley around a supermarket, and then I want to eat and then I get to the café and it's got a long queue before I get served, I generally give up, walk out and go elsewhere. Not particularly busy on this Sunday morning, so there was really no excuse. I ordered a Big Breakfast, which appeared at my table relatively quickly. I must say, for what it cost, it was good value, filled the plate with bacon, sausage, brownies, baked beans, intact, the lot. I think you call it a traditional English breakfast. I also had a latte, made by a machine which you operate yourself (this seems to be the standard in most similar eating establishments.) Sorry Morrisons. I'm not impressed. Just very sloppy and unprofessional on many counts.

We have just returned from a visit to Morrison's MK centre, the shopping part was fine, the cafe part not so, the lady on the till questioned every thing we ordered " big breakfast please" "you mean the brunch then" this attitude continued through out the whole process of ordering, the teapots were covered In a film the cutlery needed cleaning, table covered in tomato sauce, very disappointed, it was the best supermarket cafe in mk but not any more unfortunately.

I asked for a cheese and bacon omelette. What I got was a plain omelette with cheese sprinkled on top with 3 full sized rashers of bacon thrown on the plate.

Decent cafe. Good customer service. I had garlic bread as a side with my mac and cheese- they didn’t have any garlic bread so they gave me 2 sides of my choice instead- onion rings and chips. Really generous portions. The Mexican bean soup was amazing! Wish we could have had more but we had the last serving- says a lot about the soup! The coffees are decent. Good seating and good choices of food. Really good value for money. They have good offers and meal deals too.

All meals we have had are nice,sometimes not enough staff for serving.

'Lane closed' on till. Then there were no vegetarian as sausages or poached eggs. Not sure how you run out of poached eggs after ten minutes of opening? If they don't want my money I'll take it elsewhere.

Nice place to eat. Might be better if workers will be not so lazy. Tables are dirty, need to be cleaned more often. Many times there is no ketchup, clean forks, free tables etc. Good prices and not bad taste of meals. Generally, I recommend, but dont be surprised of low quality service.

Changed there menu, to encourage people to eat & pay more!!! The menu broads are so small can't read them!!

Staff friendly and good service breakfast not so good as it wasn't busy expected hot food sadly not, toast was questionable only toasted one side and as for fried bread so soggy you could ring it out obviously cooked in oil that was not hot enough.

Wow I'm really disappointed. Been to cafe in cmk before and wasn't good...went today for breakfast and to be blunt it was a disgrace. Ordered two small breakfasts. Came out with a small fatty and hard piece of bacon, one sausage, half a and dry rubbery scrambled egg. Also came with one piece of bread/ supposed toast which was hard, uninviting and cold and definitely not toasted.. without butter....also no baked beans attall.

The food ( when it arrives) is very good for the price. My son waited 20 minutes longer for his burger but was told he could help himself to another drink while we waited. When it arrived, it looked very nice.As for the hygiene of tables, cutlery etc was below standard but we were eating at 1pm in half term so they may need to review staffing levels to accommodate

The staff are clearly over worked. Don't bother going to Morrisons café if you only have an hour for lunch. It takes far too long to get hot food. It's such a shame because the staff at both of the MK Morrisons are lovely. Other than the manager at the city Morrisons. I've noticed her talking to the staff like they are rubbish. Not nice to see when you're out with family for lunch. I nearly went and asked her why she had no respect for people. She walked about in her suit like she owned the place. Not good to see.

Flies crawling around the coffee machine which was dirty and sticky. When told the staff said we've mentioned it to them, "them" being who? Why can't it just be cleaned? And cutlery was dirty.. Never had a problem with the cafe until today, been here quite a few times with friends and family.

Another visit to Morrisons which confirms its place as the best of the supermarket cafes but only just.

Stopped yesterday for shopping and as it was lunchtime thought it would be easier to have lunch in the cafe. Sunday roast for a fiver the menu said so being stupid I thought that's ok WRONG!

The staff in the restaurant where the most friendliest people I have been served by. All the staff in the shop are also very helpful.

Fish fingers were deep fat fried to a crisp and peas looked like they had been boiling for days and this was a kids meal. Very disappointing.

Ok. Standard supermarket cafe, Lacking in any sort of greeting or smile just order pay sit eat go. Boring place to eat food is just ok.

Generally clean and cheap but some staff struggle to make toast (without burning it) or fry an egg. Low price, conveniently located and good parking but food edibility can be hit and miss. You may need to hunt a bit for a cup that has come out of the dishwasher unstained but I find this is common to all Morrisons cafes.

Food is cheap, but reasonable. Nice to grab a quick bite and rest after doing your weekly shop.

I used to love visiting the Morrison's cafe's Westcroft and Central Milton Keynes it is great value two kids eat for free with two full paying adults. We used to love popping in there for our teas on a Wednesday night before doing our weekly shop. It was the Mrs night off of work and cooking our teas for us. But I'm sad to say the quality of service and food has died a death like the free bottomless cups of fizzy soft drinks. 3 out my last 5 visits to both cafe's have resulted in my first and second food choices being out of stock??? In a food store??? Then my dinner has come put cold. The Mrs Mehta burger has come put with no bacon, onion rings on the top and occasionally no cheese due to them running out. We have been offered a free second glass of coke for this?? Why they just couldn't reopen the cafe's good shortages from the supermarket stock I don't know. My kids are fussy and 3 out of 5 times have not been able to get their first or we one choices of food either.Plus they're now understaffed we had three girls serving us cooking the meals, waitressing, clearing tables, etc they were run ragged and embarrassed when we complained about the standard of the food being not upto it's usual high well presented quality. "So come on Morrison's let's get that quality we all know and love back on top" and upto scratch. Just hope this is a big blip???
