Costa Coffee in Milton Keynes

Very bad costumer service. It's a sunday and they close at 6pm. We arrieved at 4:50pm and when we did our order they said that the carrot cake we can only take it for take away even when it's more than one hour left for closing time. Also, when doing the order and talking to the worker, he was just talking to their colleages about the closing time, he didn't pay attention to what we were ordering and we had to repeated to him three times. Then, we tried to sit outside and all the tables were dirty even with three workers at the coffee, none of them went outside to clear and clean the tables. It's not the first time coming here and having the similar experience. I hope this review arrieve to the person in charge as this is not acceptable for coustumers. Thank you

I love coffee but there’s 2 costa in centre one in the middle and the other one next to M&S FoodHall. The ons next to M&S is the one I’m going all the time but the problem there is the stuff … the products 10 ! But the stuff -1 one in particular not even smiling she’s upset all the time and she talks like i’ve done something wrong to her.

I’ve visited this Costa twice this week whilst working in Milton Keynes and every member of staff has been incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. They went above and beyond to answer questions about the area, alongside great and quick service. Thank you.

The staff need hygiene training the coffee machine was disgusting

Server was welcoming friendly and patient, order was perfect just how I asked

Food and drink as expected however the customer service was lacking.

Shelves was empty .this wasn't late in afternoon. This was morning. 3 young girls chatting down 1 end of the counter. Wasn't acknowledged untill I waved my food for them to serve me. Not really impressed. Usually go to the other one by marks & spencer which always gives great service staff there are always friendly and helpful.

Place was busier with a pleasant atmosphere. Baristas were competent and the drink well made.

Lovely Costa. Lots of space and tables. Staff were friendly and gave excellent service. Usual Costa food etc, hot drinks, cakes, pastries, etc.

We were able to sit outside and enjoy our coffee and cake in the sunshine. Very good.

Quick service, busy due to collectamania weekend.

Discussed with staff who insisted the doors had to be open (health & safety requirements) whilst open to customers. Absolute rubbish!!!

Store is always incredibly busy with 10 minute wait, store opens onto an open area which includes a stage which plays musics loud enough so you can't hold a conversation in the store. Staff refused to close the doors to block the music out.

Pricing is getting ridiculous now.. almost £4 for a small cappuccino is ridiculous!

Staff were taking orders two many at a time and instead of doing them straight away the queue was outside the door, consequently it took over 20 mins to get our order .

Just stopped for a quick cup of tea.

Amazing customer service and White Chocolate & Strawberry Hot Milkshake

Busy Sunday, seemed short staffed - no hot milkshakes even though it's plastered everywhere. Disappointing they can't label this as sold out to save people from queuing.

Quick service, good strong coffee ☕ and a lovely blueberry muffin.

Great taste, perfectly made. There can be a queue mostly, as only one till is functional. But the biggest problem has to be with indoor seating! At the centre of the cafe there is this door named "private" which is always open and the noise of banging dishes and cups coming from the room is loud enough to disable conversations outside. It feels like there's a rage room inside or so. No cellular network or free wifi by costa was found all the time I visited. Make sure you load your costa rewards before you get in as poor connection usually breaks the app and rewards can be lost. The staff was nice enough to understand the situation and gave me the free drink anyway, cant vouch for that again as explaining the issue can be tricky.

Usually eat in but there was 2 people and a long queue lucky I was there before the queue starting firming the new person had not been trained at all and the staff trying to do the coffees spilt all the milk every where and I had ordered 3 take away cappuccino s and 3 muffins as there was not much choice on food that costas advertise / they were not cappuccino s at all just a milky drink / I go in costas where Waitrose is excellent service and the Costa’s at wrens park both excellent but I will say this was a disaster's won’t be going back in soon I will go to pret

It's okay for onetime but I don't like the quality of coffee here tbh.

The guys were fab and the coffee was fine, but there was no heating in the cafe, we sat and could see our breath whilst speaking!

Generally a good experience. Good, friendly staff. Till set up a bit strange though and gets congested.

A busy Milton Keynes Shopping Centre. We came out of John Lewis and headed over to Café Nero. No deal! Massive queue with little movement!!! Over to Costa a couple of minutes away. Fair queue BUT the woman doing the drinks had the counter humming and kept the other servers hard at it for good throughput of happy, quickly-served customers. We got down that queue pretty quickly and put our order in. Drinks and muffins were bought and we found seats easily in the back section. Good chairs, a chill out and chat, loo stop and back to the shops & car park. Job done. Impressed by this Costa! A good 4-star visit. Queue management was the key here! 👍

While At Rushden Lake... I went to Next's Costa Coffee ... had a good rest and break while shopping. Quiet clean and not crowded. Managed to buy few Christmas presents at Next too. Good cheese toastie and hot chocolate drink at Costa.

Sadly since new management taken over and a lot new staff standards of products and service have dropped considerably .All though the new manager is realy lovely women and has a welcoming smile I feel she is way to young and lacks experience for such a busy unit.I personnel feel the staff need to be trained to a higher standard they all running round like headless chickens getting orders wrong, there a lack of supervision, shouldnt have new or less experienced staff to be left to do drinks and service. I have been coming regularly to this store for over 2 years now .

I went to Costa for a drink today (12/12/23) so because I have autism which is a disability, I couldn't use the small toilet with the locks on because they were too small and small and cramped places can be a struggle for me because of my condition and Lesley who works there was encouraging everyone to use the toilets with the code on so I said to her that i couldn't use the locked toilets because i have a disability then the response I got was "you can walk" now this has left me feeling very panicky and humiliated because I can't help having a disability and it's not okay!! I told Danielle the supervisor and she was really lovely about it and very apologetic and another girl who worked there who was also very apologetic, sadly I didn't get her name but she offered me a drink on the house and a cake! As I did feel very shaken up as I have never been discriminated in a coffee shop, I won't be returning again EVER!! I suggest that the team member in question gets some disability training too after her ignorant comment about me being able to walk I mean how is that helpful??, I won't be coming back ever again and I will encourage others not to aswell unless you want the mockery and pure ignorance because you have a hidden disability. 👏🏻👏🏻 And I will also add, whenever I go to this Costa one day there isn't any hot water and then the next time I return there isn't any cold water 😂😂

They people went to Costa Coffee. They people like buy coffee or tea , hot chocolate and some sandwiches. They children like have hot chocolate and sandwiches. They people awaly buy coffee go work and they people walking round street

Was very busy, only had take out cups, staff where very friendly and tried to keep the line down as quickly as they could.

As a daily Costa customer to various stores, I have to say my experience yesterday was not great, the staff as slow as snails, the queue ridiculous, plenty of dirty tables, lack of food in the cabinet, and when I ordered my toastie, it took so long I had nearly finished my coffee! Goodness knows how you are going to cope with the Christmas rush! Maybe Costa needed to employ more staff at this branch!

The blonde lady who was there was great but the other 3 were just that slow. I think there new.

This place is messy The staff behind the counter are way over stretched and chaotic Drinks are poor standard in comparison to ther Costa stores as they are rushed They need more staff or to just slow the Que down so they can keep up. I'd rather stand a few extra mins and get a cracking latte than be rushed thru ...have my order missed and repeated 4 times and have a nice frothy latte than what I got and that was a luke warm cup of milk that resembled a latte and I cud have made it better at home We choose to spend on coffee for a treat or luxury....wasted my points free drink on this !

I had a really pleasant experience here thanks to the new manager Sami who was very friendly and made me a 10/10 coffee. Thank you Sami and Costa staff, will be back again

Lots of hilarity amongst staff ,not saying staff should not enjoy their place of work but very noisy to customers. menu for coffee types not displayed on changing screen so could not choose unless I waited for it to appear , not good if place quiet and have to wait for coffee menu to come round to coffee menu. Flies crawling all over cake display which is open at behind the counter side , convenient for staff but more convenient for the flies. Not sure if I want to go back to costa which I am told is better coffee than the other coffee shops.

Coffees only efficient staff with a sense of humour

I've been a regular customer at the Costa branch in Milton Keynes for several years now, and I've always been impressed with the friendly and efficient service. The staff are always happy to see me and know my order before I even ask. They're also very accommodating, and they're always willing to go the extra mile to make my experience enjoyable. One of the things I love most about this branch is the upstairs area. It's a large, spacious room with plenty of seating, making it perfect for working on my laptop or meeting with friends. The lighting is also very good, which is important to me when I'm working. The only downside to this branch is that the upstairs area is often closed. This is usually due to staffing shortages, but it can be frustrating when I'm planning to work there and I find that it's closed. Overall, I would highly recommend this Costa branch to anyone looking for a great coffee and a friendly atmosphere. The staff are top-notch, and the upstairs area is perfect for working or socializing.

Extremely rude staff here, we will it be coming back absolutely disgraceful behaviour these people not be in front of customers

My child (2 years old) contracted Good poisoning from this costa after eating their 'famous mac and cheese' she was vommiting for over 42 hours which resulted in a hospital visit. Food is not kept to temp in their fridges and their appoloy through customer service was 'if you haven't taken a picture of the packaging we cannot help you.' I'm sorry I didn't preemptively think about salmonella when in cost coffee.

While waiting in the queue a worker with blonde hair and beard and wearing glasses thought it was appropriate to use the F word in front of customers and nothing was said by co-workers. I think customer service training is needed here!!!!

We visited Milton Keynes twice in December and new years day had a coffee news years day morning before our trip home, we were able to park our mobility scooters outside without any problems. Each morning we used Costa as our starting point before driving around the centre.

The food and mocha was fresh and delicious. Burp lol Staff pleasant and friendly. Space inside and outside to spread out. I'll definitely be going back.

Even though, I have been here a number of times, over many years, I always find that Saturday is the busiest day of the week, so I would recommend coming here induring the week, if you have a day off from work to have a quick drink and bit to eat

I ordered Belgian chocolate frostino and I love this drink, however, the ice was not smoothly blended and was very hard to drink through as straw or if drank without very messy ...

Visited there a week ago and service was brill but one rude customer making the staff's life difficult. For me they were brilliant

The service was fantastic and the barista (Danielle) went above and beyond to make sure my elderly Mum felt happy and comfortable while she was there especially as she isn't able to get out often. Keep up the great customer service Costa.

Im so happy the Black Forest Hot Chocolate is back, one of the best hot drinks ever. Staff is always really helpful, quick at serving and always get the order right. There is never a long wait and food and drinks are always great

Dirty place with nothing on the shelves

All I could smell was burnt cheese and an overwhelming smell of cigarettes, like someone was smoking inside. Apart from that it is OK for a chain store.

So disappointed with this store, by 10:30am their was hardly no food left. I have heard from many stores Costa have changed deliveries and have really made the stores suffer.

Not a good way to charge some one extra money. Poor customer service.

Yasmin is the best Barista in Milton Keynes. So friendly and makes a bangin coffee.
