Starbucks in Test Valley

Perfect cafe stop. Cleanest Starbucks along the a303 I’ve seen. Toilets are clean and cafe is clean. Coffee looked and tasted amazing each coffee was a different design thank you to my server molly from me and my family!

We stopped here for lunch, on route to Devon. The display cabinet had croissants and fruit toast. We were keen to order either for our 3 year old son. Just before we got to to desk to order they were all put in the bin as they had been displayed for too long?! We had to give him the ends off our sandwiches in the end because they only had cheese options for sandwich’s which he wouldn’t eat.

We are big Starbucks fans and it was lovely to see a franchised services branch where there was some real pride in its appearance - AKA how Starbucks used to be! Maria was manning the fort in the early hours and was chatty and professional, made a good coffee and was clearly proud of her branch - thank you Maria!

The toilets were appalling. We made the mistake of visiting again in August. They are still appalling. The coffee wasn't bad. The croissants were cold and tasteless.

Starbucks website says open until 6.30, we arrived 5.55 to find the staff had locked all the doors and were finishing up for the day. Open should mean open.

When travelling we always stop at Starbucks and have never been disappointed until our visit here. We needed a pit stop having been on the road for 4 hours and I really wished we hadn't. The facilities were dirty and according to my husband the gents were downright disgusting. I can't say that the ladies was much better with a lack of soap and no working dryer. When we ordered our coffees we were served by a couple of very disinterested lads who I don't think had ever heard of customer service. They were slow (stopping for a chat in between drinks - I only ordered two!!) and really gave the impression they couldn't care less. The icing on the cake was the absolutely appalling and undrinkable 'coffee' we were served which, unfortunately, we didn't taste before resuming our journey. We have now learned to taste before leaving as we reached journeys end with 2 cups of undrunk and cold sludge. I would suggest you avoid this place like the plague.

Good pit stop, service is quick and staff are friendly. Coffee was good quality too. Cafe was clean and tidy, plenty of options to choose from. Would come again

Never again. There is nothing to recommend Starbucks. Bring back Little Chef, all is forgiven. The 'breakfast' roll I bought consisted of some sort of ham and cheese melt and it tasted of absolutely nothing. With no atmosphere, it was like having a coffee in a partly-cleared shed that needed sweeping out.

My family and I have visited this store twice in recent months and cannot believe how their standards have slipped. The store was filthy, the toilets were blocked, the bins were over flowing. I placed my order with a barista who seemed half asleep and didn't really know what he was doing. My name is usually asked for but not on this occasion and seeing as they had enough staff, the service was shoddy

I have just paid £3.55 for a drink (Tall Iced Latte- plain) which was advertised as £3.50. The server told me it was the fee for my cup UNADVERTISED. The toilets are disgusting- no toilet paper, hole in the door covers by a rubber patch glued on. Floor filthy and toilets dirty. Probably didn’t help that a woman was washing her teenager daughters shoes in the sink and had sprayed water everywhere and was flooding the manky floor. Hence it pissed me off that I paid for a bast**d cup. Add it into the prove or do one!

very quick service, staff always smiling no matter how busy they are and a wide range of speciality coffee to choose from which is alway made to a high standard

I stopped here with my wife and kids. The two members of staff behind the till were happy friendly and helpful. One young lady and a male with a beard. Helped us decide what drinks to make and the girl made what I think is called babychinnoes for my kids which they loved!!! Clean environment, toilets kept quite well considering it was only two of them working at the time. Would recommend and come back and have done!!

Four adults and 2 youngsters stopped off at this location for lunch, laast time we atopped here it was a Little Chef. It was fairly empty and we managed to get the comfortable chairs. A lady who we recognised from The Little Chef Days came and wiped the table clean. I had never been in a Starbucks before and did not know the proceedures re ordering and service but this was all explained by a pleasant youngman at the service counter. We selected various items from the products and handed them over for heating etc. and then ordered our drinks. Easy once you know how and what the premises provides. The drinks came first and the heated items shorly after. I was not too impressed with my bacon and egg muffin/roll but it filled a hole. No complaints from the others regarding their food or drinks. We spent quite a long time in the premises talking and entertaining the kids before continuing our journey. Regarding the Gents toilets 1 urinal was out of action as was the hand dryer.

Omg, you do not expect a Starbucks to be this dirty. It looked like the floors hadn’t been swept all day, tables were dirty too. There were 4 staff behind the counter, and hardly any customers to serve, so no reason not to be able to give the place a quick sweep and wipe. This place has had awful reviews for a while yet surprising that nothing has been done, def not a 4 cleanliness rating which is what is advertised outside.

I cannot believe that such a new restaurant can be so bad. It is filthy ,tables. Chairs , toilet door, toilet floor, and there is no toilet paper in the gents. The food is awful and the service slow. No knives and forks or napkins....

Glass counter - which has glass on all 4 sides- housed fruit flies. When this was pointed out to staff they waved one or two out but made no effort to apologise or get rid of the rest. Hopefully they did so later. Neither server...

Classic Starbucks site, though bigger than some and certainly cleaner than many. Staff were helpful and efficient. Coffee was much as expected: not very strong, but a well made cappuccino. Plenty of options for snacks. Big car park, so no parking issues. Pain me to...
