Cafe Zest Massarella in Aylesbury Vale

Went there for a sit down and a pot of tea with a friend and we were called disgusting and yelled at for having outside food on us in the open. The staff member came over and informed us that they didn't allow outside food in the cafe, which was fine until she decided to yell at us further and gossip loudly to other staff members and even other customers about how, people just don’t do that, how it was filthy behaviour and how it’s unfortunate that she couldn't just kick us out due to our tea. I am disgusted that they assumed that was professional behaviour.

it was christmas eve in the day and food was barly warm and seemed double the price but no price list to check this.

Warm roast, poor guest service, can’t have mash potato & roast potatoes served together because this is head offices strict orders. Certainly no desire to go the extra mile for anyone. An additional cost option wasn’t offered. No apology. John my server whilst I was talking to him even decided to walk away from me mid service. Won’t return.

Took 8 children with special needs for lunch there with 8 staff members after seeing Santa and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. The staff happily more chairs and tables to give us more room and more tables to use. The children were allowed to take their own lunches as long as staff brought their lunches from the cafe, which we were happy to do. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and would definitely use it again with the children.

Visited on a Sunday morning and sat outside in the sun. 4 eating with a variety of food. The service was good as was the food. Coffee was excellent.

Just had pork chop, potatoes and 3 veg. for lunch at cafe zest. It looked good, but all of it was barely luke warm - very disappointing.

We have eaten here a number of times as there is no hassle to seamlessly move from mid morning coffee to a light lunch In comfy seats. The food is usually good though the vegetable soup was a little disappointing on our last visit and the table clearing was a little haphazard. However the staff are always very pleasant and it is a good place to stay chatting to an old friend!

About eighteen months ago, I complained about the general unhygienic state of this cafeteria. Last Friday, my friend and I visited again to have lunch. We were disgusted to find, once again, that the area was in a disgusting state. The tables were unclean, and the cruet was actually stuck to the table! The deputy manager insisted that the tables very cleaned every evening, but our table could not have been. There were four staff behind the counter, and no customers, and yet the tables were not cleared, and the floor was dirty. The food was awful. I had a prawn sandwich with black pepper mayonnaise. This consisted of white bread, a thick layer of margarine or butter, and a few tasteless prawns smothered in sauce. After complaining, the assistants began to wipe the tables with a cloth which was tucked into their waistband! No anti-bacterial spray was used. We will not be visiting again.

Si estás buscando pasar el rato con un viejo amigo durante un largo tiempo, no busques más. Empezamos nuestra mañana con una taza de té, lo que fácilmente dos tazas de cada olla. Para el almuerzo, que avanzó que era autoservicio, así que pudimos ver lo que estaban haciendo. Mi amigo tenía un plato de arroz que ella disfrutó y tuve una generosa ayuda de sopa de guisantes, brécol y pancetta, que era delicioso. El personal era muy agradable, quizás bastante lento para recoger las mesas, pero no había presión para desalojar las mesas y pasamos una agradable pocas horas actualizarse.

Visitamos el desayuno con mi hija.Pareció extraño que el servidor preparó 5 de nuestros artículos de desayuno pero a la izquierda el racor de placas con una tapa sobre ellos mientras nos dijo el chef en el volver a darnos huevos escalfados.Sabíamos cuando habíamos estado esperando 10 minutos sin signos de nuestros desayunos, que las cosas no iban a ser buenos. ¡Dios mío! Huevos escalfados mi pie. Uno parecía un desastre revueltos y el otro era sólido y duros. Tenerlos envió yo pedí específicamente para todo, pero cuando regresamos los desayunos tenían llegado el pedido toda equivocada.Le dan a este lugar una amplia amarres. Realmente atroz

Esta es la primera vez que revisó este lugar a pesar de haber estado en un número de veces y la experiencia ha variado. Últimamente se ha vuelto más niños así es quizás caer entre dos puestos, la zona se ha convertido en ruido acogedor sillón y no tan interesante para personas con hijos. El personal es muy agradable, pero parecía agobiada o desorganizado. La comida varía demasiado. Tuve un delicioso queso coliflor en una visita, pero en mi última visita al hornear la pasta estaba seco y duro quizás la opción Rollo o sopa sería una opción más segura!
