Very welcoming. Assia is very pleasant. Very friendly. It’s a lovely atmosphere. Feels warm and comforting . Coffee is great too.

At times the food does not appear to be fresh, however the coffee was alright. The atmosphere upstairs was comfortable, although I, and everyone else I observed, always seem to trip up on the same step when heading upstairs. While it does not bother me that much, and I was not carrying anything at the time, I can see how this may present a dangerous health and safety hazard.

Not very busy on a Friday afternoon. Coffee was great. The Cinnamon roll was lovely. Service was quick and pleasant.

A very spacious place, good variation of what to eat and drink. Cosy corners upstairs if you want to sit with your coffee quietly.

The best coffee you can have in the UK. Almost. And YOU HAVE TO get the Italian pancetta and sausage roll!! Very nice, you can also ask year around, buy ITALIAN PANETTONE !! Go and try it.

This is, hands down, my favourite coffee shop in Aylesbury. Other chain coffee shops are not as inviting or as cosy. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the upstairs seating section is a haven for book lovers and people looking for a place to do some remote working.

The folks working here are friendly, food & coffee are good; What's not to like?

This is a gorgeous coffee shop with an exceptional staff. The cafe is warm and cozy with perfect views of Market Square, giving you a sense of being right in the heart of town without feeling crowded by it. But it is the staff that makes the cafe. Beric makes it a point to learn the regulars names and to astonishingly remember everyone’s drinks. And Ana, who shines for her friendliness, just jumped at the opportunity to lend me her personal phone charger—always a risk with post-Covid memory lapses leading everyone to forget something. I had stopped coming because the pre-Covid staff was so cold. Glad I gave it a try again.

We were a group of 3. Went for hot drinks. Had the drinks of our choice. There was only one sofa. I chose to sit there but it wasn't that clean. Same with the table. Other tables also needed cleaning. Drinks were good.

Just went to grab a coffee to takeaway- the younger lady working there was so friendly and put a smile onto every customers face, 10/10 experience 😊

Better coffee than Costa but never as good as the independents, which we prefer but couldn't find one.

Nero Friars Sq. Please fix the front door closer. The door banging loudly every 30 seconds was extremely annoying.

Tasty coffee which was hot and cremy and then a lovely toastie which I really enjoyed. My 5 star rating mainly goes tp the staff though, in particular Aaron (I hope I've remembered their name correctly). They were so helpful when I didn't know what to order, patient when I couldn't get my code up and also had such a welcoming and positive attitude. Thank you so much

Always very nice coffee. But, it's held back from 5 stars as they never seem to have any food remaining. We have been in on a few occasions recently at various times. Otherwise, lovely!

The lady wasn’t professional at all Overfilled our coffees and turned her back on us so we don’t see while she wiped around the cup with a dirty cloth , coffee did not have the taste as usual Nero coffee . Had to repeat three times our order and it was only 2 coffee, 2 medium Latte . Went in here for a pastry and coffee. We ordered two pastries and a couple of coffees - thought we would give them a go after a bad experience a couple of years ago, hoping that things had improved- no such luck. As previously the pastries were not cooked!!! the pastry in one of them was raw. Not happy with my comment the server got very defensive and was quite rude. Needless to say we will not be returning.

In most cases you have to wait a long time to be served and then again for the coffee and food to arrive. Suggest you get more staff to help the struggling two girls. The staff are friendly but need more help to give good service. Went again today 23rd September 2023 and the girl was by herself so slow service and only takeaway cups to drink in due to her being busy serving

Paper cups instead of proper china cups because, we were told, the staff didn't have time to wash the cups. The two members of staff then proceeded to chat and do nothing for the next 20 minutes.

I do enjoy a Nero Latte but damn this place is filthy and so tired. Really needs a good clean and re fit. Tables and chairs dirty and worn. Random people just sat outside smoking and drinking not Cafe Nero customers. Toilets out of order also. Had to have sit in coffee and sausage bap in takeaway form as they have no mugs or plates whhhaattt!? Worst Cafe Nero I've ever been too

Good cafe with a small road leading to it where you can briefly park and run in to get takeaway ordered on mobile. Could do with making coffee a bit hotter in temperature.

Awful franchise like costa and starbucks. I never use them and prefer to use a small independent coffee shop that is part of the community and usually has staff that care, these franchises are usually about numbers and nothing else.

Coffee as excellent as always. What was welcomed was the cleanliness of the whole premises. We had stopped going in this branch because the whole place was grubby and a real turn off. We heard there was a management change,.....and what a turnaround. Great

Long queue. Very slow service. Downstairs tables are not cleared of crockery and rubbish. Unable to go upstairs as I cannot manage stairs so cannot comment. No cream for luxury chocolate drink but charged full £4 all the same.

Friendly café who are happy to adapt drinks as needed. Good seating areas with a lovely cosy area in an upper level at the back and comfy sofas looking into the street at the front.

The server was so disinterested in serving me. He didn't smile or give my friend and me a warm welcome. I'll never drink in there again. Worse coffee place in my opinion.

This Nero, in some ways is not special or different to the many other Neros up and down the country. That said, the staff are attentive and helpful with suggestions Its perhaps a little thread bare in places, you could even say tatty, and yet, its a good place to meet people, and has outdoor seating for when the weather is warm (or hot). Its a spot I like for watching others go about their work, opening the shops and the market traders putting up their stalls...

The tables here HAVE NEVER BEEN WIPED with a cloth. I wanted filter coffee with cream. THEY HAD NEITHER. This is supposed to be a coffee shop. I don't think I wandered into a Kwik Fit by mistake. (checking). No I didn't. Just The Worst Footnote. It was lovely and warm inside in a very cold day.

This was a good experience. The drinks here are always nice and the staff are friendly. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have any other plastic cups left today for iced drinks, but the coffee was still good. They have a nice seating area upstairs too which is appreciated.

Good coffee, friendly staff. I sat upstairs - makes a nice change to listen to soft, relaxing music. I wish other venues would do this, especially when you are having a conversation. It does look a bit tired compared to other newer cafes - hence my 4 star rating. Hopefully this will be addressed in the near future. Look forward to my next visit.

This is absolutely one of the best Nero shops. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is brilliant. And it feels so great the way you are treated.

Getting better now under new management. During the week it’s usually fairly quiet and Fridays and Saturdays tend to get pretty busy . Even though the staff look stressed but they are always happy to help

İ won't go in to this store ever again, I can't believe they can't get a proper barista, their staff has no clue about how to make coffee their coffee is undrinkable always boiling hot and with no creamy froth it can't be this difficult to make a proper latte and cuppacino

Very good place, with nice coffee. I love visiting it on my days off with a couple of friends. Coffee is very nice which is not very common on brands like this one, snacks are also quite good but a little bit pricey. Staff is very polite and very helpful too, they are always available for any suggestions in case you don't know what to choose from their cakes selection. The place is always clean even if it's very busy, I love visiting as often as possible

Really bad today. Long queue, only one Barista serving, who was miserable as sin and really slow. Coffees were OK, but porridge ordered just had a load of milk slopped over it in the bowl and microwaved, but came out wet and lumpy and not hot enough - she refused to try another one or microwave for longer so we had to refuse it. Really poor compared to how it used to be

It's a nice 2 story cafe. I've been coming here over 2 years now. Friendly staff, and I get my coffee made properly every time. Their toilet facilities are very run down down stairs, they should revamp their sofas too as they are very very old. Overall 3 stars

Walked in there today, place was like a sauna, dirty and run down. Not somewhere I want to eat and drink, especially as their toasters were broken.

Service okay, they don't address you as sir or madam, just next ' adverage service as not many staff in their, you have to clean your own tables as they aren't cleaned, floors are messy and untidy, the downstairs toilet was disgusting either them said it had been checked 20 minutes before, the toliet seat was broken and it was all brown stained absolutely horrible I told them about it, but no apology at all said to me not sure what his name was, the toilets upstairs are more cleaner.... Really 🤔

Love the outside setting but you run out of mango juice too many times and never smile.

The barista barked at me when asking what I wanted, no manners whatsoever. The salted caramel cheesecake was gone off and my friend dared me to take it back because the barista had been so rude. I took it back and it was exchanged for another item but no apology whatsoever.

I discovered that this coffee shop allows quiet, well behaved dogs. I think it's the only cafe I know of that does! Well done! Good service and lovely coffee too.

The girls are a bit grumpy or perhaps tired . but i could relate as they’re way too busy for the little staff they have . Sometimes the place looks messy as they’re behind the counter serving customers with no time to clean up . And don’t bother with the frappes ... they taste horrible and warm !

Got my cuppa, but staff didn't ask if l had any outstanding rewards, I could have had a cake or and iced coffee today!

All the staff are really friendly and as I’ve been there a few times they remember my order. The prices are a bit more expensive however I much prefer the taste of their coffee to others so I think it’s worth it.
