Good pleasant staff, usual Costa format

Arrived at 8:10 to be told it’s not open yet and to come back later

Poor service, had to clear and clean my own table even after waiting 5 mins. Staff not busy as less than a handful of customers and no queue. Staff just couldn't be axsed. Go up the high street where you will get a friendlier warmer welcome I'm sure

Don't ask much, a clean table and a nice coffee, but after 5mins I cleared my table (only 3 customers) took the empties to the counter and they barely acknowledged me. Had better service from a drive through. Coffee as expected. Not going back as better options in Wendover.... A smile and a pleasant greeting costs nothing

It's a small Costa coffee that doesn't stand out from the rest of the street making it a nice and cozy looking shop. The food and drink there are just regular costa though so if that's your thing then go for it

Popped in for a coffee. Good service and friendly staff. It was very quiet but the tables still had left over debris, which they didn’t appear to be in a hurry to clear up!

Service at this place is always bad. Even if you order up front and turn up at the correct time, I was still left waiting 20 minutes just for a coffee. I’m afraid it’s just run inefficiently. They claim to be busy, but I use Costas all the time around the country and they have more staff v number of customers in Wendover, but they still manage to come across as incompetent

Gave up & walked out without my coffee after almost 40 minutes of waiting, literally the slowest Costa I’ve ever been too. It’s par for the course too as it’s always painfully slow, £5 down the drain.

Popped into Costa last Friday, and was impressed at how clean the place was. Not a sticky table in the place!

Costa, in a lovely village setting, without the high village prices. Always stop for a coffee, and a walk through the village after, admiring the houses and cottages.

The coffees are fantastic and quickly served by a great team of staff. The only downfall is to avoid going in after 3pm as it's full of groups of school kids who take up all the tables without buying a drink or anything!

It's a fairly ordinary Costa that could do with some investment to brighten the place up. Nice enough in good weather when you can sit out the back on the patio, but again the furniture could all do with cheering up or replacing. The team are all nice and helpful.

Been there once. The service and the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is ok as well. Went there around 3pm the place was not very full. There were plenty of tables. There's free wi-fi, toilets inside, and there's an outside area.

Shocking. We ordered a tomato and mozzarella panini and a tuna melt. Absolutely nothing in them. Genuinely never seen such a mean and stingey filling.

Extremely rude and disrespectful staff. Clearly young and inexperienced people that do not care about customers. The blonde woman in particular was very miserable and impertinent. However, Drinks were good, but i wouldn't recommend going here at all. Terrible staff.

Staff very kind. After trekking along the ridgeway I ended up at Costa wendover and didn't quite have enough money for my non dairy latte. They waived the difference. Thank you guys. The vegan 'ham and cheese toastie' was lovely. Would defo recommend

Best tasting costa latte I've ever had

Great friendly, helpful staff, Nice location. But unfortunately the coffee is not up to par. I had a vanilla Latte, that just tasted of horrible sweet syrup that stuck to your teeth, no coffee taste at all.

Popped in for takeaway coffees on 3rd Jan after a long walk. I am very fussy about my 'flat whites' and this one was perfect thank you, one of the best I've had from Costa. My partners latte was also very good. The two young ladies making coffee were very well organised and make some great coffees. We'll be back soon

Useless staff, took forever to serve customers. Forgot marshmallows in hot chocolate which tasted horrible anyway!

Not very welcoming. Young inexperienced staff. Manager hovers doing little as possible.. drinks are ok if you can get your point across... Only go in extreme circumstances.

Lovely Black Forest hot chocolate and After Eight mint muffin, 2 staff working, 1 taking and 1 making orders, could do with 1 more member of staff to direct customers in and maybe once they've ordered waiting outside to allow a quicker flow, with door staff member passing prepped orders out.

A little small, but serves the usual fare. Comfy seats. Promise of a garden, but too cold in Jan to investigate.

How can you get a hot chocolate wrong? Tasteless. Then discovered a huge lump of powder. Yuck. Used single use plastic for an drink in house - unforgivable. Also a lady nearby complained it was cold. Instead of fixing the problem, member of staff just said "do you think so " and walked away

Visited with friends and spent some time catching up. We didn’t feel encouraged to leave and found the Service and coffee good.

Came into Wendover for Breakfast and came to this little gem, tucked in a beautiful old building the inside is tastefully and respectfully done, the staff were very efficient and very friendly and the drinks as always were superb, nice toastie and my wife had the porridge with honey and sat in a very pleasant sofa area and enjoyed ourselves whilst we read the papers

I was on outskirts of Aylesbury looking for a coffee and break after travelling for a while. Open at 8.15 am on a Saturday morning - service with a smile - standard Costa drinks and snacks - I had a croissant and Americano to set me up for the day ahead

I have seen many coffee places and some were - indeed - even worse, but this is not a good coffee place. It's standaard Costa coffee - which is okay - but the serving en hygienic standards are really bad. The tables weren't clean at all, and when cleaned they used a cloth that was really groce. No - never again!

A good Costa in an older building that gives a cosy atmosphere. As expected the Coffee is well up to Costa standard as are all the food marketed there. It is the ambience that makes it special.

Not busy between 5pm and 6pm because they decide to close early. I work in hospitality and my work has to stay open until our closing time no matter how slow business may be. It’s been a long hot day and I was looking forward to a cooler drink at 5:30 only to be turned away. How unprofessional.

Sunday morning I treated my daughter to a hot chocolate. Untrained young staff - coffee and hot chocolate took ages. In fact the person behind got theirs first. Had to remind them what milk to use. They didn’t have any cream for the hot chocolate as it “hadn’t been done”. Pretty rubbish attempt as a franchise. Plenty more independent and amazing places to enjoy a good hot drink in town. The place looks untidy as well. Costa lot for a very mediocre time - avoid.

A very quirky little Costa with a very nice interior. Seating isn't to everyone's liking due to being "compact" but in saying this there is further seating outside (rear, summer months only though). The staff are very hit and miss, lots of foreign exchange students at times and you find yourself pointing at what you would like, frustrating for all when busy.... At the moment of writing this all is good with the staff and very curious and polite.. The shop has been of late crowded by children requiring a place of free WiFi and meeting, this takes up valuable seating especially when nothing has been bought from within the shop!!

This place is ok for a coffee stop. Not ase. clean as it could be and the dead plants don't exactly make it better. The toilets are dirty. Attention to details are far from good. Too many staff stood chatting instead of doing the things that need to be done. Always seem to get a trainee doing the coffees.

Brilliant location and great service.

I took my eldest daughter for a hot chocolate after school. We were greeted by 2 scruffy boys serving. After preparing the hot chocolate I had to ask for squirty cream, which I assume is standard issue for children and was given a rather paltry squirt! When he prepared my cappuccino his fingers were all over the rim of my cup. Being British I didn't complain. The whole place was tatty with bits on the floor and tatty newspapers. Very disappointing for a "premium" brand in a "premium" location!

This Costa offers the standard range but also has a small outdoor seating area and a well designed inside. Staff are pleasant and helpful and service good. Nice toilet

As a (far too) regular of Wendover Costa I can't recommend this store highly enough! The staff are all really friendly and go the extra mile to make you feel very welcome. There have been quite a few new members of staff joining recently, and I'm sure if they follow David & Mia's example of customer service they will all do great. Keep up the good work 😀

We were lucky to find seats. The cuppa chinos and latte were first rate, and as good as any in other Costas.

Great Costa. The staff are friendly, service is quick and location is very convenient. Does get very busy though so you may struggle to get a seat during peak times (e.g. when the nearby schools finish for the day)

A good cup of coffee for a reasonable price. Sat outside in the sunshine as it wasn't too busy. Staff were polite & friendly.

A great place to grab a coffee whilst at World's End Garden Centre. Fantastic to be able to get a really decent cup of coffee and lovely snacks. It is much quieter than the main restaurant are the staff are really friendly. So, if you are looking for a great Costa Coffee with easy parking I would really recommend this one. It was great weather on the day that I visited and so lovely to be able to sit outside with an iced coffee!

This is a brilliant place for a coffee and a chat with friends. My writers group meets here every other Saturday, and there's plenty of people watching inspiration around. There are a couple of sockets you can use for laptop charging, but you need the right table to be able to reach them.

Just a Costa but definitely a clean one

This is a really nice cozy Costa. The staff are really friendly and professional, for instance when they see me chain my bike up outside they have my drink ready for me before I get through the door. People are always popping in and out giving the place a kind of 'local' feel.
