Costa in South Bucks

A great place with friendly helpful staff , who are always super busy , so wait is sometimes required. I never mind as people can only do one thing at a time , and the surroundings are pleasant.Go with a serene attitude and empathy for your fellow man (or woman) who is working flat out for you , and then enjoy your delicious coffee.

Just dreadful, dirty, dark and huge queues as staff slow and fulfilling deliveroo rather than people waiting in shop… sad as years ago used to be good. Needs taking over

In decline. No cups for 2 weeks other than paper ones even if you drink in. Excuse is no dishwasher. If you use your beans they say they have no large cups so you get short changed for saving up beans only to use them on a small or medium drink when you are entitled to large. No cream or choc sprinkles and over a sham. The management have no interest despite having a prime spot in beaconsfield. Costa shirk and say it’s a franchise but we’ll tell the rep. To be honest the rep is doing little to nothing for the site, customers or the brand. I have deleted my app after 20 years with costa. I am fed up of queuing for half baked orders and short changed. There are many other options in beaconsfield so I’m changing brands as this site doesn’t care about customer service.

Asked for extra chai in my drink but they were very stingy with that- not as in other Costa’s where they are generous. Drink wasn’t t good. The almond croissant was dry - kind of was stale. Wouldn’t visit this vista again!

Busy Saturday, Queuing up for a while get to the till and get the coffees the flat whites are too fluffy like the cappuccino, for the babychino they used simmi or skimmed milk which should be full fat milk. The service is very slow.

Normal I attend here a couple of times per week but today I noticed a fly on a cake on display. I also realised that there isn’t any protection for the cakes. I ended buying something wrapped. It’s because they leave the front doors open!

Visited today again after a bad experience with one of the female members of staff on several occasions when she’s on shift, she’s very rude, and miserable and not a good face for Costa!!! But today the manager was there I explained my experience and how I don’t like coming in with her there as she seems to target me!! He has assured me he he will speak to her and was very pleasant and helpful and was a pleasure to go in there today in fact went in twice!!! Makes a change for someone to be do friendly snd good service let’s hope now he’s in charge the place will be a lot better. Coffee and food are always lovely can’t wait to be able to sit in though as gets bit chilly outside.

Whoever manages this Costa needs to wake up and smell the coffee! However, it would take a very long time to actually get the coffee.What a shambles this place is. Inexperienced staff who really couldn't care less. Today was a prime example - young female 'barista' who was so slow and completely uninterested in the waiting customers. She was busy chatting to another male member of staff who also had two speeds - dead slow and stop! The customer in front of me had half of her order sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. The barista (still chatting) got her orders wrong and then left her shift with half of the order to make and remake because they were cold. Absolutely terrible service. Hope Benedicts is open on Monday!

Costa Beaconsfield is still closed as at 23 August 2020. Jungs and The Beachtree are doing a good job though!

I have been to this outlet many times. Sometimes it was a bit disorganised but overall a fairly good experience. Today, due to the current probems they are only serving take away. I was pleased to see them carrying on in adversity (as we all have to) and I observed good hygiene practices in operation.

We used to go on a regular basis to Costa Coffee in Beaconsfield but we moved away and have not visited it for some time.A few days ago we went there and could not believe how it had changed, not for the better but for the worse - much worse!There were four staff behind the counter and seven customers clustered around the counter waiting for their orders. the staff were lethargic to say the least, they had no urgency about them and seemed oblivious to the frustration of the customers waiting for their orders.The tables were uncleared and dirty with all sorts of rubbish strewn on the floor.Someone at a higher management level needs to sort this out it is a disgrace and it is sad to see how far it has fallen.

Still better than the dishwater served as coffee at the USA based company over the road from them. Very loud inside!

I have been going to Costa for yrs since I moved to the area. This place was always good. Lately it’s really bad. Outside furniture stuck inside the shop you can barely get near the sandwiches. A lot of young staff nobody really seems to know what they are doing. Nobody to run the place to a high standard. Sort it out Costa

The staff needs more training I’m allergic to nuts and the lady asked me if she can use the jug from almond milk that’s bad she’s don’t haven any ideia how nothing about allergies from I’m worried to drink coffee ☕️

Getting worse not better; closed early weekend due to lack of staff; more staff today but really worst Costa. Sell it back or sort it

Swift service. Helpful staff and overall a nice atmosphere. Over the past few months things have improved with the decor which was looking tired.

Costa is going downhill. No tables cleaned - dirty under in on tables. Glass coffee cup was chipped and dirty. Not enough staff to keep clean and coffee luke warm despite asking for extra hot. Staff rushing as big queue.Costs buck up please as love the coffee but the environment is awful now - DIRTY

Costa Beaconsfield is one of the busiest Costa's we've been to. And we've been to quite a few - both in the UK and abroad.Staff are fast, friendly and efficient. We've been coming here for many years and the current team make the overall experience an absolute pleasure.The baristas create beverages to order with the minimum of fuss and a pleasant and polite matter. Whilst, their colleagues are always available to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in what is a busy branch.A big thanks to Peter, Charlie, Matt, Morgan, George, Jack, Shelley and the rest of the fab team!Thanks guysTina x

I visit here every week as it’s my kind of treat to myself at the end of the working week. I love this costa site ,the location and the staff overall are really helpful and they have improved over the months. The service can be slow but that’s not a criticism as there are very few staff behind the counter when I going in so I think they have a real hard time keeping up during peak periods. That said I’ve always found them to be very friendly and they work really hard; there is a barrister there that seems to get all the work and it is just constantly back to back. So overall I go here every week because the service is good and staff are friendly. If I had one criticism it would be the furniture. Some of the chairs by the window are starting to look a little shabby. They are made of material which I can understand with the constant customers are going to get dirty and marked. And this can be offputting when you just want to sit there and have a coffee and feel like you’re in a clean area. But overall a good service.The most helpful server I’ve come across is a gentleman called Charlie. He served me today and was so helpful and insightful about the coffee and gave advice on what to try next time I’m there. Rare and great service.

Just about the most dull and uninspiring location. No sent eof place or customer service. Just going through motions

Yet another disappointing visit. As a regular customer have seen this branch of Costa go steadily downhill. Four staff behind the counter in their own worlds waiting for someone else to serve us for five minutes! Possibly due to them being so young...... Not exactly busy but the staff, when we were served, were surly and couldn't raise a smile. Worse still while waiting for our toasties I could see them piling up on the side with no one putting them on to heat up. Will be going elsewhere in future which is sad as I still love the taste of their coffee

I walked in today and walked straight out - it was stuffy and airless, just as it has been over the past few weeks because the staff are still waiting for a new air conditioning unit. The tables and chairs which they used to have outside have now been removed so there is no chance of sitting outside with your coffee and getting a bit of air.

How can it take 3 members of staff 7 minutes to make a coffee? Absolute desperation for a coffee is all that brings me in here first thing in the morning as it is the only coffee shop that opens early. Staff need training.

Well, it is what you are promised in any other costa. The only thing that makes it stand out is the size; the inside as well as the outside are very specious which is nice as you can actually get some privacy in your conversation. Staff friendly and reliable. Nothing too exciting but then again, is costa ever exciting?

I was served by Jack (trainee) who was excellent.

Good and reliable for coffee, both for takeaway and eating in. Can be a little slow during busy times.

Love them or hate them, they have become a part of our routine and a convenient place to meet. The beaconsfield one is no exception though I do often find it messy with unjustified delays in service. Regrettably, there is a lack of customer attention - especially when it’s packed

We went for drinks early evening, there wasn't many people in Costa but found that the staff took ages to make a coffee and hot chocolate. They tasted per the usual coffee and £££.

Products are great as they are in all Costas but the cleanliness is questionable. Table clearing and other basics aren’t met particularly quickly... if at all.

It seems strange to write a review on a chain coffee shop - I’m not a coffee snob, I love Starbucks, Costa, others. It’s just this particular shop - I’ve been a few times and it’s dirty. The staff uniforms were each time filthy (OK, two out of the three staff). Rubbish on the floor was swept into a corner and just left there with the brush. Trays and dirty cups/plates etc covered lost tables and.. it wasn’t particularly busy. The young kid out front was moving at 1mph tidying, sometimes just wandering aimlessly back and forth.

The staff are always very busy but the staff are polite and efficient and as friendly as they can be. A handy location for when my car was in the garage or a break shopping.

As far as Cost Coffee shops go this is fine! Most of the times that I have been to this one it has been busy but the coffee and food whilst overpriced (as normal) is good so you get what you should be expecting. Service is friendly and reasonably fast (very fast when not busy). The one strange observation is that the chairs and table at the front outside of the coffee shop are no longer there so you are pretty well forced to either sit in or take away. This is quite a negative as it is nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. If that is not an issue for you than you should not be disappointed.

The title says it all. There's nothing worth spending your money on in this Costa. Very poor all round. Won't be returning and would now think twice about other branches. Clearly no one cares enough here.

Table clearance is slow, floor clearance/ cleaning slower still. Staff friendly enough but seemed to be on a go slow.

Stopped here after shopping. Great environment. It was busy when I was there but the service was speedy and the pricing reasonable. Great location. Beacs is always my stop off point and Costa is great.

Popped into have a latte and a cookie friendly atmosphere nice seating just diaaapointed in the price a bit expensive but still good

This genuinely is a really decent venue located right in the middle of the shopping precinct of Beaconsfield. The guy who makes the coffee here is always friendly and smiling and adds to the really friendly ambience that this coffee shop captures. Costa, as ever, delivers a superfast professional service and you are always greeted by such friendly staff. There is always a very decent range of sandwiches and panini's on offer. The tiffin and other cakes are also a dependable favourite, always on offer. There is ample seating and the seating by the windows offers a really good view point of the street to sit and relax and watch the world hustle and bustle by. You can obtain a Costa points card which you can use with each purchase in order to accumulate points, giving you freebies! Really great Costa in Beaconsfield- check it out!

It is what it is, another Costa ruining a small village with over priced tastless drinks. Food is terrible as expected.

Good location if pausing whilst shopping or a rendevous point. When will Costa put coffee in their coffees?!! i love coffee and have never had one there that tastes of anything but hot milky water and looks like dishwater. They are a great marketing success but how they stay in business is beyond me... must be due to good locations and lack of customer choice. Costa and Starbucks are not COFFEE houses unless you think instant coffee is the best thing ever then you might like their bland coffees. Overrated.

Stopped by while out shopping with my wife for her birthday. Asked for to-go cups as planned to sit outside. Very pleased I did as while I waited 15 minutes in a queue by the toilets I noted that there were hardly any tables that were not covered in used crockery and rubbish. Once I finally received my order I found that every table outside was in an even worse state than inside! Ditched the below average coffees, drove straight to an Italian restaurant for an amazing lunch, delicious coffee and great service. Will never use a Costa 'coffee' again.

Great location. Friendly staff. This location has a really nice feel. Just wished Costa here offered wifi as I'd stay longer and feel more relaxed

Every time have visited have always been warmly welcomed. The coffees are, naturally, good and their Belgium choc brownies are amazing!

I like costa, but find the food very expensive, for what you get...but hey everyone knows coffees shops like costa are overpriced, however the seating in this coffee shop is the best...in that you can actually get a seat....and staff nice, and helpful, would recommend

great location and friendly staff, wifi is free and latte is lovely. the muffins are good and not dry. would always meet here for a date or a catch up with friends

Love their tea, if you want to have a snack there are a verity to choose from. Nice atmosphere. All the costa places are vertically the same. A good selection of cakes too

If you want to go for a coffee, then Costa is always great. If you are passing through Beaconsfield, this won't disappoint. It's in a nice place in the town, you can sit outside when the weather is good, and there are lots of comfy seats inside.

Has the best position in town. But the coffee is average and the place is looking tired. Hard to justify when there are better options nearby.

The staff are friendly and helpful, but there is so much wrong with this outlet. Never does a week go by without the freezer that holds the sandwhichs breaking down or leaking, various air con units also leak, the extraction fans (if they exist) don't remove the stale smell of toasted cheese, and for a very busy shop it's regularly understaffed with dirty plates and tables. This is surely a flagship shop in a prime location in Beaconsfield and should be presented as such???

The coffee is really good, just as one would expect at a Costa. Friendly, smiling staff, with fast service. Quite a spacious and comfortable environment, on this main shopping street. Really enjoyed the Almond Croissants! Obviously very popular with the locals, judging by how busy it was.
