The food was fine, but the portions were very small, especially considering the price. The staff were happy to give us extra, but the assistant manager got involved and seemed to want to provoke an argument. We asked to speak to the manager. When he arrived, his main concern was which member of staff had offered to give us more food as they shouldn't have done so. All in all, poor value for money and bad customer service.

Is this the best Costa coffee in Manchester? Quite possibly. Efficient service, clean and tidy. Delightful staff, friendly and welcoming.

This place served excellent food and nice coffee. Went as a group of four and we all enjoyed the food and drinks we had. I had the Chilli Scrambled Eggs, and they were delicious! Good portion size too and good value. I'd like to give a special shout out to our server, Bronte (hopefully I didn't mishear the name!). She was lovely, and made us feel very welcome. She noticed some birthday presents I was being given and was very kind to me, wishing me a happy birthday. Would definitely come again and highly recommend!

Having not been to the railway for around a year, I decided to go for a drink on Saturday night with my partner. The girl got us our drinks but although I had asked for no ice she filled the glass with ice and bicardi then had to throw it away when she realised. The music was loud and more kids rap music which does not appeal to me, the televisions all had sport on and we ended up sitting outside to talk. However if it had just been not my type of place then that's fine but it was 9pm on a Saturday night and there was only about 6 people in there. I won't be going again. It used to be a fun local place to enjoy but it's obviously not now.

Not bad, but nothing special. Coffee is a bit disappointing and the service tends to be slow. Can't blame the staff for that though, it's the usual Alderley Edge clientele who hold everything up as they wait until getting to the front of the line before deciding what they want to drink - every single time this happens. Otherwise it's in a fairly nice spot and has outdoor seating.
