Another Heart To Feed in Manchester

Brunch had the Turkish eggs, food and service good. The music was a bit loud.

No heart at all.. Coffee delivered literally half an hour before the arrival of the breakfast itself, turned stone cold in the meantime. When I raised this, the male staff responded with an attitude with no apology that they are not supposed to serve them together and they will bring coffee whenever it is ready totally disregarding the fact that it is served hot and not a pre drink before the breakfast. I understand that it is a busy Sunday morning for them but no need to be rude to your customers. There was no apology for the fact that food was half an hour late.

Really enjoyed my brunch here on Saturday morning. Good selection of options and everything was really tasty!

Took way too long to take our order, felt like we kept being ignored by wait staff, and only got served after managing to flag someone down. Took just as long to bring the bill and again, had to ask for it. Food was nice enough but I wouldn't go there again to avoid the poor service. Also, service charge was added to the bill, didn't realise places outside of London had started doing this?

We both ordered the Eggs Benedict and they were fantastic. The breakfast cocktails sunrise mimosa and breakfast margarita were also very good. To sum it up: a nice restaurant with good food and good service.

A nice atmosphere! We went in a Sunday morning and it was very busy and took a while for things to arrive, which is understandable! The coffee was just fine, and the French toast was very tasty but defo a huge portion so would’ve shared ☺️ our waitress was lovely and very friendly- an overall nice brunch experience.

Food is good (although in order to cut through the sourdough bread you might need a chain saw), service could be improved

The bagel was 3/10. The bread with avocado etc. was horrible, worst I ever had, but looks good. I would give this restaurant 3/5 if the prices were reduced, but to pay for awful breakfast 22£ (26,62€) is crazy.

Really great atmosphere and portion sizes are really great for the price. Turkish eggs was really gorgeous. Only thing is the music is so loud and you’re literally shouting at the people across from you. But otherwise it was lovely.

This place is probably popular because of the fun name and good decor. But it can’t be for the food, which took so long to arrive our coffee was cold when it did, but at least that matched the food, which was also freezing cold. Because who doesn’t like ice cold smashed avocado with 90%fat bacon on the side. Or a breakfast roll so small they actually serve it on a plate that’s half the size of the avocado toast plate. But despite the small plate you’ll still be struggling to keep it all on the table which like the portion sizes, was tiny. Appreciated the free water.

Probably the best brunch spot in the area. Not only is it the only place that has a bit of variation on the typical brunch menu, but it also seems to be a step up in terms of the quality of ingredients and attention to each dish. There is usually a wait to get a table but they do let you out your name down and come back which is a great option when it’s busy

We were looking for a nutritious breakfast near our hotel. That's when we came across Another Heart to Feed, which was just 2 minutes away. We were very impressed straight away. The different coffee variations were very tasty and as far as we could tell, everything was made with oat milk. The breakfast was extremely tasty, so while we were eating we decided to start the next day here too. We tried different things and there really wasn't anything that wasn't tasty. An absolute recommendation!! If we come back to Manchester we will definitely have breakfast there again!

Two terrible experiences trying to visit this spot on our Manchester new years holiday. Yesterday we (a couple) arrived and upon entering the ginger host guy said the kitchen was closed (at an arbitrary 1:20pm) - New Year’s Day fair enough. We decided to give it another try today - arrived at 11:35am, The blonde host girl was seating two sets of other guests then gets to us and says there’s a 20-30 minute wait…ok fine..we’ll wait…although she didn’t take our name, and just told us to wait outside…in -1c weather. (Should’ve taken the hint and just left, but I really wanted to see if the food is as good as some of these reviews claim) so we waited. In the proceeding 5 minutes of standing outside, I watched her literally clean an empty table and then come back to seat us. Finally seated, we proceed to order (the mushroom French toast) which she then claimed can’t be made dairy free. Despite their menu having a note at the bottom stating “All dishes are prepared fresh, made to order, and can be made dairy free, gluten free, or vegan)”. Three strikes at this point and we decide to leave. Terrible service man, I would not recommend this place. Instead go down the street to Ezra & Gil, that spot has far better service.

As an Aussie I was not surprised to see upon looking up this cafe that it is Melbourne inspired. Felt right at home here. The butternut squash on toast was FANTASTIC! Usually vego breakfast foods do not have that much flavour. Prices were reasonable. Would absolutely go again.

I’ve eaten some nice breakfasts but this place is something else! We ordered the cinnamon french toast and the wild mushrooms … eurmagurd! Delicate flavours, wonderful textures and perfect portion size. The flat white and two lattes, both perfectly strong and yet smooth. I highly recommend you go here and experience this reasonably priced, gourmet food, delivered with polite and efficient service.

Great experience at this place on a Wednesday almost noon to try some breakfast food. They prepared the eggs to our liking. The French toast was wonderful and maybe enough to share. The latte was ok but maybe sweet for my taste.

A very disappointing experience. The coffee took ages to come & wasn't hot. The staff were indifferent & didn't seem to care. Maybe they get a lot of tourists & don't expect to see customers again.☹️

Being a United fan, I travel here regularly all the way from Australia just to have their chilli scrambled. The taste is just amazing. The service is A1 and just love my new friend there Fillipa who remembered me even though it was a few months.

Been here with my daughter and introduced my husband to this lovely place! The food is of a high standard and well presented. The coffee is lovely and the staff are smiley and attentive. If you want somewhere with a nice atmosphere and a brunch, here's the place to visit!

This place served excellent food and nice coffee. Went as a group of four and we all enjoyed the food and drinks we had. I had the Chilli Scrambled Eggs, and they were delicious! Good portion size too and good value. I'd like to give a special shout out to our server, Bronte (hopefully I didn't mishear the name!). She was lovely, and made us feel very welcome. She noticed some birthday presents I was being given and was very kind to me, wishing me a happy birthday. Would definitely come again and highly recommend!

Came for brunch for a hen do and had a great time. The staff were super accommodating and helpful when I asked them to set up decorations for the table beforehand. Feedback on food - Could've done with a sharper knife for cutting the sourdough as it was really hard to cut with a normal knife! Sadly the eggs on my avo toast were very cold and the hummus must've been taken straight out of the fridge so that let the dish down a bit hence knocking off one star. Super hard to get out 10+ dishes at the same time though so appreciate that. Coffee and cocktails were fantastic. Overall had a fab experience - would recommend.

An amazing breakfast all day cafe in the heart of Manchester. Located just less than 10 minutes walking distance from Piccadilly circus. The cafe is lovely and cosy. They have a great variety of food and coffee. The service was quick and excellent and the staff were nice. The prices were good. The Turkish eggs were super delicious and a must to try.

Very nice, the food was really good. We got the toasted sourdough with salmon. The portion could be a bit bigger. You get a lot of salmon but just a thin slice of bread.

I've never been to Manchester, and there were so many places to choose from to grab a bite to eat, but what we saw people eating through the windows looked fantastic, and what we ended up choosing was delicious. The service was amazing, giving recommendations, seated us quickly, and the food arrived shortly after ordering. The food we ordered was full of flavour, the presentation was amazing, and the portions were very fair for the price. It'll be hard to visit somewhere else to eat, having visited here on our first visit. Whether it's the next visit or the time after, I'll definitely be returning to try something equally delicious on the memu.

As we all feel the cost of living, even a small family bruch (5 people) can add up to a small fortune, so its really important, especially as virtually all retaurants nowadays take a liberty to add a Service charge onto your bill, that the WHOLE EXPERIENCE of eating out is as important as the actual food. The staff at this establishment just seemed to have no idea at all that Customers dont just come out to eat food, but also enjoy atmosphere, decoration, suroundings and the service of the staff ! .... The attitude of the staff on this first Sunday in September was shockingly poor ..... probably the worst I have experienced - they just didnt seem to care ! We looked around for a place to eat and decided upon ANOTHER HEART TO FEED. 5 of us walked in and one of my party was my very heavily pregnant daughter. As we walked in there was a sign saying 'Please wait here to be Seated', which we did for several minutes. The place was not that full at all with several free tables and no one else waiting. As we waited several of the staff actually walked past us without even a greeting of any kind or an 'Ill be with you in a moment'. We waited, stood, for several minutes and it was obvious that we had been seen ... but we had just been ignored. With my daughter needing a seat we sat in the window on a free table for 6 and waited..... and waited .... Eventually, a waitress came over and asked "Oh'.... have you been seated ?" It was condescending at best and obviously having a little dig at us as we had sat down on our own. You could see from her attitude that she didnt catre about us as customers and was just trying to rub in the point that we hadnt stood waiting for her to invite us to sit in the same seats just 2 metres from where we were queuing. We ordered drinks from another member of staff and it was as if he was not bothered. I, and 2 others, ordered a Fresh Orange Juice for £3.60 each ... no ask at all if any of us wanted Ice and what arrived was a small glass rammed with Ice and about half full of Orange Juice. Now I am 63 years old, Ive drank a lot of FRESHLY SQUEEZED orange juice in my life and although it has 'bits' in it .... I swear that was 'SUNNY DELIGHT' .... whatever it was, there is no way it was freshly squeezed organge juice. They did turn up wioth Table water and 5 glasses, but the glasses were still Wet .... I actually think they were still dirty tbh, but regardless, looked like just rinsed. Not good. Now I am going to say that the Food (I had Turkish Eggs) was excellent ... I couldnt fault it, but I will not change my rating as the Service was so bad .... The team that were on seemed to be more interested in speaking with each other and they seemed not just very unprofessional, but as if they could not be bothered and either hated their work or hated the customers .... I think the latter as Customers seemed to get in the way of their social chats ! appauling service. Yes the food was good .... hut I hope you (as I will in future) give your business to a place that understands that the customer is there for the whole experience ! Unfortunatly, the whole experience (we travelled a 90 mile round trip from Doncaster and also my son was up from London) was totally ruined by the attitude of these staff and although I enjoyed the food, there is no way I would ever visit again, and I would never recommend tjhis to anyone. If the management have anything about them, they will address this ... if not, they dseserve to fail, wonder why they were not full and continue to get poor reviews. Eggs on toast has no business being this tasty, they make it using magic I'm pretty sure

Lovely brunch spot, staff were all very nice. It was busy which is always a good sign! And we had avocado, egg and halloumi and the Eton mess French toast. Both great.

I've wanted to visit here for a while and was pretty disappointed. The staff was good and provided excellent service, but the food let it down. I ordered the breakfast barm, and my gf ordered the French toast with mushrooms. Both weren't the hottest when serviced, and luck was warm at a push, but we carried on. The breakfast barm for the money in my eye was very expensive. I couldn't even eat the barm, it wasn't nice at all, and I also didn't like some sauce that was already on it. I had to scrap this off. The French toast was ok, but the quality for the amout paid wasn't up to standard, also the poached egg was hard and nkt runny. I might try here again just to see if it was a “bad day at the office”, but I’m not sure. It is expensive for what it is, especially when adding on a service charge of 10%.

I’ve been here twice and the food is lovely - good portion sizes, very prompt service, and great coffee. Pictured is the mushroom french toast, so delicious. I like how the menu isn’t too big and even though it’s always busy I haven’t had to wait too long for a table. Definitely a northern quarter gem.

Food and coffee were pretty good and filling, but the service was slow and not great. Also, the table wasn't cleaned before being sat down, and I was nearly overcharged by my waiter. I also wasn't expecting a service charge.

Sincerely felt as though the staff cared. As if they’d give me a hug if I needed it. I’m not picky at all. I’d be happy with beans on burnt toast but genuinely the presentation was phenomenal. The taste. Exceptional. Delicious incarnate. Special mention to the chap with sleeve tattoos and buzzed mullet? Idk but he was a sensational server.

Unusual that I visit a place where the food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Maybe it was the hangover, who knows? What I do know is people were queuing out the door just to have breakfast there. I had the Turkish eggs. Could have eaten it twice, not because it was small but because it was tasty. We had a lovely breakfast on a Sunday morning in July. It opens at 9.00 and we were there at 9.30. We ate indoors and there was plenty of space but the window seats had gone and most of the outside seats. The food was fantastic and there was a great choice on the menu. Service was good and the staff friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday morning after a late Saturday night!

Really good vibes here, food is good and the staff is nice. I got the eggs your way with extras of avocado and salmon. A bit pricey, but the scrambled eggs were amazing: fluffy, buttery, creamy. The smoked salmon was a miss: had a bit of that “stinky” fish flavour. Avocado was nice, and sourdough was solid. Recommend this place.

Extremely friendly and tentative staff. Lovely flat white and sourdough toast. Cosy chill environment with laid back tunes. Perfect place for a coffee stop whilst roaming around ancoats.

Good atmosphere but sat for ages waiting for our order to be taken and then again waiting for our food. When the food finally came half of it was stone cold and tasted pretty bland.

The place was nice staff were friendly but busy as you expect for a Sunday afternoon. The Brioche French toast looked lovely but it was very very sweet and drowned in Strawberry syrup to the point it was quite sickening. The smoked salmon was odd the salmon itself was quite salty and the balsamic glaze made the combination a little bitter. I ordered extras such as poached egg that was nice but the additional sausage I ordered for 3.50£ was a major let down as it looked and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 15-20 mins. The speed of service was okay but watching other tables who came after us get served before us was a little disappointing. Finally the iced latte was warm when it arrived and seemed as if the coffee was made then some ice cubes added.

Great location and atmosphere. The staff were really friendly. But after waiting outside for a table it then took ages for our food to come. I see lots of people praising the Turkish eggs, but I wasn’t a fan. The sausages were nice, but essentially egg on herby yoghurt… one of my eggs whites wasn’t fully cooked which didn’t help. Was ok tho, just probably wouldn’t go back.

Whoever thought you could turn baked beans on toast into a gourmet dish? Ask for the Posh Toast and Beans. You will forget the original in this savory helping of multi-flavor goodness. Turmeric latte was just right as well.

Had to queue up but was met by an amazing guy and was well worth the wait. Delicious french toast and tasty breakfast bun. Was a long wait for food which we didnt mind as the vibe was lovely and had some money took off the bill by the kind waiters :) 10/10. Would definitely visit again to try some of the other menu items that sounded good!

This place was so lovely we just had to go back the next day again. It's not a menu you'll find elsewhere - it's impressively unique with interesting takes on traditional brunch options, and everything is made to perfection.

The inside of this place was amazing, calming. The food was 10/10 definitely Would come back.

The breakfast bun was just not great, it consists of mostly sausage with an egg and a small bun for £12. A glorified Greggs meal where you’re paying for the privilege to sit in a gloomy but posh cafe. The coffee came after the pastry which was cold. There’s many gems in the area that I would rather return to.

The staff here are really nice. My boyfriend’s food looked good but we went here because they advertise gluten free options. Unfortunately when we got there it turned out the only real gluten free option was gluten free bread and toppings. I ended up having a slice of bread with two eggs. It was pretty disappointing. Perhaps they could make one of the dishes gluten free that isn’t just bread with eggs or avocado.

Extravagant, flavourful, and messy (in a good way. The posh beans on toast left me both full and satisfied, without being excessive, and for 11 quid, it wasn't that bad. The dark chocolate French toast looked intimidating, but it was surprisingly light, and reminded me of a black forest gateau. I did go back, and would go back again.

We ate outside on Sat 6th April. I would highly recommend the poached egg and smashed advacado plus the French mushrooms on toast....both really tasty!! Lovely service, quick and efficient. We'll be back when we are in Manchester next!

Good place to have a coffee or Bloody Mary while doing some work.

Stopped by for a coffee and breakfast, just after arriving to the city, exploring Northern Quarters. The place was quite crowded, but not too noisy. The food was Brittish breakfast with modern, fusion-twist. We enjoyed the atmosphere.

I will attribute this to the fact it was a bank holiday Monday and/or someone called in sick as they were incredibly short staffed. Coffee was lovely but food was horrible, my avocado tasted sour, and it was too busy to flag anyone down. When our plates were cleared nobody asked if everything was OK. The food was taken off the bill but literally had to chase after the waitress to express our issues. Management please staff correctly, looked like a horribly busy shift for FOH.

I have a mixed feelings regarding this place. We ordered butternut squash toast which my partner loved (I enjoyed it as well). I have ordered posh beans breakfast. A few minutes after we have a waiter coming in saying that they have no beans so had to choose something else, I have ordered avocado on toast instead and have regretted it afterwards. There was no flavour to it and the poached egg was hard boiled. I also think the portion sizes are not great for the price we paying. There is also 10% service charge added for the bill over £20 which I think is a bit cheeky, providing they were seen our waiter for the whole 3 minutes. I have worked in hospitality myself for years and don’t agree that tip should be payed automatically for everyone, just for bringing the plate to the table; tip is a personal choice and people should have a right to decide if they happy to pay or not. Finally we have never got the actual bill! My partner just paid what the lady put on the card reader, she didn’t say how much is it was also the service charge addition was not mentioned (I only know if as it was written on the menu). Overall won’t be returning as it isn’t worth it.

One of my favourite places to go for food and drinks. Had brunch and the food was lovely and suitably priced. Staff are smiley, attentive and quick. The atmosphere was great, with it being busy at weekends it provides a lively vibe and when it is quiet it has a lovely peaceful almost romantic vibe to it which I enjoyed. Highly recommend for everyone

Disappointed won't return. Had the tiniest amount of avocado on toast which was brown plain without any flavour. The only nice thing about it was the beetroot which was freezing cold from the fridge. The french toast was flavourless with two berries on, cold without any crumbs as per description on the menu. What a shame definitely gone downhill from how it used to be. The atmosphere was gloomy

Terrible experience with another heart to feed. It was raining yet we were told to wait outside eventhough there was plenty of space to wait inside. Sarah was extremely rude when we politely asked to eat indoors. Very unpleasant experience.

Unpleasant Mother's Day Experience We came here for Mother’s Day, to our disappointment we were asked to wait outside in the rain. The staff were outright rude and insisted we wait outside for over 20 minutes. When I asked if we could wait indoors they refused, despite available indoor space. The three female staff were all gathered together whispering, making me feel very intimidated. Definitely not an experience worth repeating. Stay away, especially if it's raining!

Unpleasant Mother's Day Experience We came here for Mother’s Day, to our disappointment we were asked to wait outside in the rain. The staff were outright rude and insisted we wait outside for over 20 minutes. When I asked if we could wait indoors they refused, despite available indoor space. Shocking service - made us wait outside - Menu was proper poncy too

Great little find for our short trip in Manchester. The food was lovely and they cater for vegans - I had the butternut squash and goats cheese on sourdough bread which was divine! Cool and quirky vibe. I would recommend!

Went for brunch on a Saturday. The food was good, on par with most places about in NQ. The acoustics, on the other hand, were dreadful. Couldn't hear a single word in there. Wouldn't go back for this reason - no point in bringing company there if you can't even hear each other!

Been here on numerous occasions mostly for drinks at the evening time, was cool as not many people was around so it was nice and peaceful. Today I went for brunch; Mushroom French Toast, was quite bland and even truffle oil didn’t help much to let this dish survive. Me and my mate ordered coffee to be served before food came in, didn’t get the coffees so didn’t the other people around us I’ve seen. Then I said to the waiter to cancel them as we are about to leave and pay the check, so she did, then she brought them over and charged us to have it for take away even tho we didn’t want them. It’s a cool place to have a drink, but during breakfast/ brunch time there should be some more supervision as people were clearly lost and not managing well under pressure.

So so so much love for this place. You may have to que but boy is it worth it. Lovely staff, great atmosphere, window seats for top notch people watching and the most amazing plant based food. Just need to sort out those peaky glass sizes (for water)! So so so so good.

Great turmeric latte, good food and kind staff.

A poor experience here surprising based on the queue outside. One meal turned up when everyone else at the table had already finished. To top it off, my fried egg was undercooked 😢. I will not be coming back.

Popped in for a beer about 9pm. 11 quid for 2 small cans served in none matching glasses. Wasnt given the beers we asked for. No atmosphere, clearly geared towards daytime cafe. Probably a nice cafe but clearly doesn't understand bar culture
